Check out The Real Ultralight Logitech G Pro Superlight Wireless gaming mouse which is only 50g @ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j-HyZ-AXyVU.html
You rock Sir!!! Super useful as usual! At this point, I have learned the lesson to NEVER try to open/hack a mouse without first checking one of Beardedbob's tutorials.
it absolutely needs the support bar for the battery. mine fell off inside the superlight, and i had to reglue it, which isn't something i'd want to do on a mouse that costs 120 USD. never mind that i payed more for less of a mouse tbh. still my favourite mouse tho, but with compromises.
Hello, my friend! Please tell me what kind of button is installed under the wheel of the g pro x superlight? I can't find it anywhere. There is also no way to measure the dimensions. :(( Thank you in advance!
Would you say the click's shell and the body shell are interchangeable with each other (gpw and gpx)? Even though you said they look identical, I'm wondering if you actually tried switching them around
@@quakercrackers4262 Have been using Logitech for a year! Best buy for ergonomics. Charging it about 1 time in a 2 weeks (1.5-2 hours charge time), considering that I work a lot on the PC.
Great vid as usual, Would you suggest changing the stock feet? I prefer fast feet like the tiger arc 2's or hyper glides, Will the superlights feet offer similar speed in your opinion?
it still works fine without it... the spring is to help prevent it from coming up when you scroll but i've never had an issue with it removed or heard of one.
Can the side buttons (not switches) from the GPX be used to replace the modular blue plastic/magnetic ones on the standard GPW? I tried looking but couldn't find any mention of somebody doing it. They look roughly the same but it's hard to eyeball how they'd all actually line up when assembled haha
great video! are you able to do the model o wireless teardown? im trying to figure out whether different switches are used in comparison the the wired model o.
I have done it on steam over on www.twitch.tv/beardedbob so if you aren't already following me nip over. I'll be releasing a edited version on here though in the next week or so, just keep your eye out for it.
Happy that you can interchange these because I have a ultralight shell coming in for a GPX and im planning to transfer internals from my GPXS to it and make it even lighter.
How that worked? I’m thinking of doing the same. I have a normal G Pro and am thinking of buying the Superlight case to make the mouse lighter with the least possible modifications. Mouses here in Brazil are super expensive.
I currently have the original GPW and it is working just fine... is it worth to upgrade to the GPW X SL? I play valorant pretty competitively and dont mind spending money if it will really improve my performance in game.
Tricky question, imo I wouldn't unless you want one or more of these things. 1. lighter mouse without modding your Stock GPW 2. you want a white one and don't want to buy the limited edition gpw. 3. 20m Omron switches The issue I have with the GPWSL is the main LMB & RMB switches, I can't live with these stock at all. In other nice these are ok but in this they feel so wrong and, even the 50m Omrons feel better. Still you can change them so its possible to get around it.
I have a TSM G Pro and don't care about resell value. Could I swap the top shell from that onto a Superlight? It looks like enough of the screw holes align.
@@Beardedbob Bob, to install Omron Japan D2F-01F you have to take away the switch plunger, then use the 50m or 20m plungers of the older switch to make it compatible, it's better than shaving off the higher plunger of the Japanese model. Ez mod.
Hi sir, im using the Superlight right now and the M1/M2 are hard to press. I loved the Original clicks where the buttons were so light and responsive, the Omron 20m sort of changed the mouse for me. Just wondering what other choices do i have if i dont want to go for kailh gm4.0 or 8.0? I believe gm4.0 will be stiffer than omron 20m. Not sure about 8.0. How about Omron Japanese and Omron 10m?
I haven't got a squeaky switch to fix 😭... If someone sends me one I can do a video. To fix it add some keyboard lube to the switch and that should fix it.
I heard the PTFE part of the Superlight skates is only .2-.3mm thick when separated from the black adhesive layer. Wouldnt this wear down extremely quick?
could work well once you add some more adhesive they should be around 3to 4m. They will wear the same but at 2/3/4 mm they might be to low. Would have to test.
Unless you use a hard pad you really don’t have to worry about feet wearing out IMO. Never really happened to me before. (Unless you push down into your pad really hard, then maybe on a cloth pad)
Probably costs them like 20 bucks to make over there in China, and then sell it for $150 USDs. The shape is what I like about it, makes me aim better then 4 other mouse I've tried. Only thing comes close is razor viper but I don't like the grip of razor viper compared to G pro
bro removing only the blue piece where the magnets on the right side (not the switches) in the normal G pro W do you think this causes an imbalance in his weight? from what I saw the superlight has nothing counterbalancing on the right side where they removed the buttons and they say it is very well balanced. I'm thinking of doing a weight reduction on my GPW instead of buying a superlight
I’m not sure yet but I expect it was something I did, maybe to much heat as it’s a very thin pcb. I’ve another I’ll be testing on so we shall see very shortly.
So glad I was able to get a brand new G pro Wireless on black Friday for $80 the G pro superlight is a disappointment for the the price point $150 Micro USB No RGB No modular side buttons No dpi switch The only pro is the 62g without holes... Which for me is a negative as anything below 70/80g just messes up my aim and I've used the 52g Hati S I think it's personal preference and dependant on what games you play
I saw a thread on reddit that the GPW had updated their switches to 20mill from 50mills, on the 2027 batch and onward, is that correct? I bought a 2034 batch one here in Sweden, but I didnt really feel a differece
@@Beardedbob Ah okay, do you know if this is true, that the 20mills are white and the 50 mills are blue colored? one comment in the reddit thread said that they had different colors, and I see that my GPW now has white ones
This is the big question. My view is that these 20m Omron's have been in Logitech mice since the beginning of time and have failed. The new element is that these haven't been used before in the GPW range until recently when Logitech have swapped them out for the 50m Omron's. I'm certainly not confident that we wont see any issues with these switches but maybe something has changes that we aren't aware of. I'm personally changing mine anyway as I hate the feeling of the 20m's in this mouse, I preferred the 50m and I changed them.
@@Beardedbob I have Zowie FK1 at the moment and i love the feeling on clicks, never had issues. I would like to buy this logitech superlight because of its weight. I did solder my keyboards and other things in the past but i was wondering where can i buy mouse switches and is it easy to replace them. Thank you
@@Beardedbob is the switch changing process more or less the same with the G Pro Superlight? I just got mine today and the left click is VERY soft feeling compared to the right click. Makes me just want to swap them out before any double clicking develops..
I can’t believe they kept the same switches 😒...just got my superlight 5 days ago and can’t get my aim on point...feel like is too light...probably I just need more time..thanks for the useful information.
@@Beardedbob does the wheel still randomly activate while having it binded as "jump" in game (bunnyhopping..)? The old version has that problem.. (basically, the wheel doesn't turn for a whole step and stops in between steps, it can be seen while browsing/scrolling too..)
Do you think other manufacturers can learn from Logitech's construction of thier lighter G-Pro, and create even lighter versions of thier most popular mice?
i hate that logi puts the screws under the skates!. Mostly because their switches are bad quality and get double clicks issues, and we have to replace em
I opened it up and the battery wasn’t taped tightly. I pushed it to the mouse’s ceiling and thought that the tape wasn’t good enough but Then I tried to remove it and it won’t come off. Looks like that’s fixed but it’s weird that it came off in the first place if it’s that hard to take it off. 😂
@@Beardedbob with numerous new top of the line wireless gaming mouse this year, can u make comparation video (include G Pro Wireless X Superlight, Razer Viper Ultimate, Model O Wireless, SS Aerox 3) like what u did on Ultimate Showdown Razer Viper Vs Razer Viper Ultimate vid ?
The only thing they need to fix is the damn omron switches and ill buy all their mice. cmon Logitech its not that hard, use optical switches like Razer or something.
