I am so disapointed PS : I'm stocked about NBS griptage that is beautifull, glad to have available your 7"75 and even a 7"25 roger one!
I agree, but that's 2 DLCs tho! The Mall had the object droppper evolution & not sinking item fix. Since then, we had the School updated with words and this Paris updated with words again.
I know this game is gonna take time,but here's a few things I'd like to see in this game... Key Features (Throw down animation,bigger inventory limit maybe 10 instead of 5,bounce glitch,and the annoying 4 wheel tap when trying to 180 flip to manuals) Esthetic feature's(more brands,more costumes or characters,skinny jeans,ripped jeans,hesh socks,new hair styles like dreadlocks or Mohawks and tattoos and piercings maybe....also if signing up is gonna include more free stuff in the future im down for it 💯👍🏼
I'm so happy they added Plan B officially to Session! Plan B is my favorite skate deck brand back when P-Rod, Ryan Sheckler, PJ Ladd and even Torey Pudwill was with them. The first thing I did when I got session on PC was mod and created their iconic decks from my childhood. Now here's hoping they add Primitive officially into Session!
Idk if it's been considered or not but I think it'd be cool with board break on to be able to setup a couple slots or atleast one. Once board breaks you have one backup selected out of inventory to apply instead of blank orange everytime. Not a huge deal but it'd be cool because most skaters always have a spare deck or complete with them. Keep up the great work devs. Great vid as always JL.
i really really don't understand why they don't have a system in the apartment at least to store different setups. no one is going out doing the shit u do in this game without spares
JL typically does not reply at the level he did before he got hired by the studio, and none of them answer questions directly like this anymore since the two-way communication doesn't exist anymore. To give an answer it is completely unknown when it will be out, but likely 2-6+ months.
No estimate on release time as it’s still being worked on my the programmers and being tested by QA. Dealing with physics and core mechanics is a huge can of worms, you never know what solution might break something else
Which is ridiculous. They literally showed us it being fixed but don’t wanna put out that patch. But gives us a dumbass tank and wants us to buy a 2nd dlc gtfo
@@kevincollins8620 i miss it, you needed to replace your grip more often, but it sorta broke in real good. you could see flat spots and tell what stance the person skated in just by looking at their grip. but, it def went to shit quick. and impossible to remove.

I had a muska deck for a second. This was before his circa shoe came out "horty" shirt in navy with the shortys board bag. We drank the kool-ade back then.
Still no modern upscaler integrated, even though solutions like DLSS have been virtually single click installers when it comes to Unreal Engine 4, as the game uses. Even if we ignore how much less performance players especially on higher resolutions get for no good reason (and the plus in energy consumption / fan noise), the TAA solution the game uses is awful, with clear ghosting especially whenever to look at your board (which is kind of important here).
I haven’t played sessions for a few months. Can’t wait for the bounce glitch to get fixed. Nothing worse than hitting a sick line with a bounce on the last trick.
Can we have a custom skate board like skate 3 and colored boards and grip tape and it would be nice to be able to have a blank board for ever size of skateboard
Pretty cool map! I never had a problem with the bounce glitch, anyone else have this glitch where you grind and your feet flip through the board? Happens all the time to me
goddamn is cloudsave on steam a blessing hopefully that weird bug where is goes ps1 mode if you touch the visual settings at all gets fixed, the steam deck would be a lot happier running a lower res with effects on

This silence treatment makes me think that they're not going to support the Switch version anymore, since the successor it's around the corner maybe they're thinking that it would be a waste of time and probably that version won't make any profit at this point.

Any other purpose/reason for MyNacon other than the tank? The ledge tree in the school used to do that without fish eye for me 🤔. Now that NBS is officially in there as its own entity they should make it so people can swap the gear on your character
Hello JL, wondering why I don’t have the part where in NYC you skate from 2:10-2:30 minute mark. I went there and I don’t have that part of the area? It’s only flat ground, no stairs whatsoever.
I think they do work hard in the background for Unreal 5 conversion! I hope they let Session not die! Also it could be an strategic turn, not to show all of their working progress before Skate 4 is out. Its obvious that they steal ideas from creature!
@@Schwurbelwachtmeister I know they announced the UE5 port a while ago, but they have since completely stopped mentioning it and refuse to answer if it's still ongoing. Can't really get behind the stealing of ideas. Skate took inspiration from THPS and Trasher, Skater xl and session took from Skate and skate again from Session and Skater xl not to mention all the indie skate game projects that are being made. That's how the gaming industry works.
@@PirunKankkee Yes you are right....the gaming industry learns and copy from each other. Despite of it some major things as manual catch and many more features that only could come from skateboarders themself are groundbreaking and are inventions from creature studios.;-) Also a "real" simulation of skateboarding were you have to try hard to get your tricks properly done (as in the real world) was never seen before the Session game ;-). Skate THPS and Trasher are all "Arcade-Games"....not that they are bad...they are fun....but the most fun for me as a skater is to get creative and try some tricks over hours to get this revarding feeling as in real skateboarding;-). Its a matter of taste.....I like the simulation aspect of session a lot more (....altough session could also be played in arcade settings)
@@Schwurbelwachtmeister I don't disagree with you on the Sim aspect that's the whole reason I was so excited when Skater xl and session came to early access and they listened to the ideas of the player base. That's all we ever talked about with my friends when we played the games that came before. My friend even made his own text based skate game where tricks were a compination of keyboard key presses and you had to catch your tricks. That being said both Session and XL promised to be hardcore SIMs and little by little both started to focus more and more on the casual side with no love on the SIM aspects. Most of the Dev team doesn't even play on manual catch.
Are you making sure to release the sticks as soon as you flick? (Don’t hold them mid air) Also do you have you Board To Body Distance set very low in the advanced settings?
@@JLNightmare its set at like medium but if i should have to increase it a lot shouldnt that be a problem, and ya thats what your supposed to do for most tricks right?
@dylansolis864 yes, always release sticks for flips. Impossibles should work perfectly with default and above with no leg clipping (I believe default is a few ticks under 10 so you should be good…) I would have to see a video clip of your issue to further assess.
Kinda self defeating if you're still playing the game. If you dont play at all until your specific wants are taken care of i get it, but giving them money, getting more maps and hoping they fix stuff with the money just makes more sense.
@@youknowme7797 I gave them money during the Kickstarter, backed at the highest tier until the game went to steam and then gave them money again when it came to steam. They don't need any more of my money to keep developing the game. If anything, some of that 1.0 money should've went to further developing it and that's only a massive cope as if the game shouldn't have already been completed before being given the 1.0 label in the first place.
Griptape is a 1 time use item. Once you put it in your board, it’s no longer in inventory. Since the pizza grip was part of the recently removed TMNT collab, once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. Same will go for the TMNT boards, if they break, you can’t get them back.
Lol I love the tank. I gotta assume it was some contractual obligation with the publisher so the devs just put in the most random irrelevant reward they could think of. Like, a tank? In a skate sim game? That works as an object dropper which you already have..? It just doesn't make any sense to me

I'm not certain about this and can't boot up to check right now but it might be scenario settings which is somewhere in the settings, maybe where city life is idk. i just switched it on, but mine looks the same as in this vid. maybe JL can confirm and if not what the scenario settings do?
Maps and skins don't make up for the lack of literally any skate trick that isn't a grind or a flip. This "sim" cuts out half of what skateboarding is physically capable of.
Are you guys aware you have more variants of a color than you’re able to have in your inventory? There’s like 7 variants of a shirt and you can only have 5 at once lol.
Backwards hat is currently not an option for custom skaters on the base game. Only 2 of the pro skater characters have backwards hats. Any custom skater you’ve seen online with a hat backwards hat is a mod on PC
Hey Jesse, i do have a Problem in the Game or maybe it´s an Bug or something , espacially with the Cole Panther Board, i bought it 5 times in the game and now the graphics are all ripped off ... now the Problem is I can´t sell the boards no more ingame ... that doesn´t work only on that cole panther board, every otherboards are sellable ??? what do you think the Problem is???
If a board is equipped on your skater (Any of your custom skaters, not just main) it can’t be sold until you unequip it. Change the characters board to anything other than the one you want to sell and you should be good to sell.
@@JLNightmare I tried it before and now again but still no somehow i can´t sell these 5 boards again , i tried it several times and other things , i sold all other boards but everytime i try to sell one of the panthersgrafic boards the game won´t let me sell it ... but thank you for answer
I checked it out it is like i can sell every board again as long as it is not some of the Boards i get through DLC´s , it must be the case that to sell DLC Boards again won´t work ???
@@JLNightmare Yes and mentioned now it´s the same problem with all of the DLC Boards, i got the Brandalised Pack, the warm-up and the Waterpark ...same Problem with all Boards of those DLC´s ...the funny Thing is that i mentioned it so late:)
I ngl, these updates have been whack and very irrelevant. Fix late flips... Add more bend to the knees after steep rail landings...fix pressure flip clipping...take advantage of all the buttons on the controller and add more functions, like grabs or no complys, something. I appreciate the game and I definitely support, but y'all wasting time on irrelevant fixes no one's asking for. This game is almost perfect to me, but it needs some multiplayer or community options as well.
Yall went from being a skate sim to adding the TMNT, removing them, and adding a fucking tank as an object for the object dropper. No new patch notes for the new map. This game is dead.
Lmao so basically we’ve got nothing that needs to be done like different skate styles, random landing animations (hell better animations all around) flipping into Manuals without tic taking better optimization the list goes on man… this game is not that good bro I pray you wake up… if skateboarding took no effort at all session is realistic I guess.. hell I’d just love to be able to not skate crouched over like I’m quasi moto PRO skaters don’t skate in this style and haven’t for like 20 years…. Not even tryna hate but your a good dude the company uses you like a mascot an doesn’t ever improve the product… it’s been years at this point… how is it sim if everyone skates the DAMN SAME. That’s not realistic AT ALL and goat feet? Why do my feet look like hooves!?
Also flip tricks don’t stay directly under your feet they just don’t I know people irl who tre flip and jump to the side to land it… on xl the game somewhat conveys that even without mods… the movements are natural even on vanilla please explain this stuff to devs so the game can actually get better an look real saying it’s “sim” is false advertisement imo in the state it’s in. I ain’t a hater I just genuinely see 0 progress since launch outside of characters levels and optimization…
This game will remain a boring pos if they dont get off their asses and start making the game fun instead of just aimlessly rolling around. Real gamers don't put customization first.
