I personally think the tomb right under the afon hafren river could be Arthur Pendragons Tomb because of the vicinity to Merlins Cave. It would make sense with him being king of the Britons and all, maybe we could pick up a King Arthur Set.
What if hildiran is kassansra in disguise, using her magic to disguise herself and the second part of the mastery challenges is kassandra revealing herself. It would make sense to introduce her this was as we know she is arriving soon, but should we expect her to just appear outta nowhere?Just an idea but completely plausible.
This armor set absolutely slaps, looks amazing, perk that actually does damage!! like it depends on the enemies hitting you (something you dont want, especially on hardest difficulty and nightmare enemy scaling) but damn its so cool!!! Huge W ubisoft. Also andy you forgot to mention there are additional artifacts that are in all the tombs that are close by to finally crypts. (eivor says a quote in isu language when he picks it up)
@@zackwoodz2792 try playing the river raids on nightmare difficulty and set the Level scaling to max then let me know if you still think you’re overpowered lol
Well done M8....100% agree that I wished some of the background stories were a bit longer for the fallen warriors. The history aspect is one of the things I love the most about Valhalla. Great Vid as always sir. Cheers! 🍻
I will do them eventually! Looks like a combination of puzzles from older ac games mixed with the puzzles from Immortals. Good to know they aren't thinking too far outside the box 😅😂

Actually you don’t have to automatically know the locations. There is a way to trigger this thing. To get started with the Tombs of the Fallen, go to the eastern side of Ravensthorpe and speak to the crowd next to the animals in the water
Make sure you go through Boudicca's Venutius's and Cassivellaunus's tomb again and pick up the ancient artifacts (3 in total that are hexagonal in shape). They might be keys to open Marius's ISU tablet in his workshop.
Yeah, that’s what I thought in the beginning… I finished all 3 extra tombs with the artifacts but when u get back to the main one there’s nothing for you to do… I was hoping we could open that secret floor 🥲
Andy, sent you a message on Instagram. The map found in the first cave has more clues. When you finish the cave a green circle appears on the stone map. There are two circles carved on the wall where the Brimclif and Uffentune runes are located. Better yet, there's a weird rectangle by the Uffentune rune. It's flat, shaded and doesn't match the landscape. When you visit that area you find that the rectangle matches some odd rock formations.
When you collect all of the pieces, you can actually go back to Manius’s Sanctum, where the main map of the tombs are and stand on the big green lit up platform where Eivor says. “This is sealed tight. Impossible to open it.” Is there more to this? Am I missing something? Thank you!
After collecting the three artifacts, I thought I had to return to Manius's Sanctum and something cool would happen - like opening the flickering ground by placing the artifacts on it 😁 me and my imagination ;) I enjoyed the puzzle solving a lot, but there can never be too much Isu links ;)
Yeah I even tried going back to Hilderan after collecting the armor set and the three artifacts, but nothing happened. I thought after finding letters from Hilderan from one of the tombs, it was a way to tell us to go back to her.
Well, I can't see the new achievements anywhere (xbox series x here), so it's impossible for them to pop up. I can only hope they will eventually, otherwise I need to do all the tombs again. Luckily I have another save for that purpose though. Video is most informative as always, thank you Andy!
The spheres that you throw around the tombs remind me of the giant spheres used in Immortals Fenyx Rising. Not a surprise considering they both use the same engine.

Thank you for dropping those locations XD i was not gonna wondered around the map pulling out my bird all day looking for these tombs lmao XD i do wish their was more Isu evolvement in the the tombs contents i feel the hits but aren’t satisfied its hows i feel with the mastery challenges i know they have to be planning more
Yeh mate, I bugged out/died but it took me back to the last save point (save points = placing an object on the pressure plates). You could always reload a save just before you entered the tomb, hope this helps Chris!
@@AndyReloads shoot...because i got stuck with one of the objects for pressure plates ..and i kind of ruined the progess..no save...so i guess ...boudica's tomb will remain incomplete..shoot..
I found the tombs fun and all but I don't get why it's so disconnected from the game. I wish it actually had a story meaning. The ISU artefacts need an explanation soon.
This content is all great, but id love a NG+ because after platinum the base game its just not so fun anymore, id do another full playthrough if it didnt require resetting 200+hours of gameplay and sacrificing all my Opal items.
All In all a short add on but it was actually fun going through each tomb I got through them all pretty quick. The armor set is really cool looking and the buffs it gives are really nice. Would have like it to be a bit longer but for free the did a descent job with it.
There is 3 key artifacts at each tomb you collect, I assume this will open the gateway at your 1st tomb at your home in England. Not uploaded videos yet of location
It's really unfortunate that the new armor set is largely a recolor of the Isu Knight / Nifelheim sets. I wish we'd get an actual unique Isu armor set, instead of recolors of helix armors with some Tron lights added to them. Very disappointed :(
What rubs me the wrong way is someone asked the devs if they're going to make something new and essentially they said they don't necessarily see a reason to if the content is *free*. Something that made me laugh because after paying money for Wrath of the Druids the armor set you get rewarded with is literally a reskin of two armors.
So far, I only have two of the armor pieces and have only completed one of the proper tombs, but it was actually surprisingly enjoyable. Half the most complicated or dangerous a puzzle solving things. Kind of reminds me of some of the older tombs in assassin‘s creed, or the ones from rise of the tomb raider. It is annoying that there isn’t a mission but at least gives you some hints as to where it is, the game says that people in Ravensthorpe can give you clues but no one did. And I didn’t see the vortex thing at all. But I am enjoying it so far. And what I’ve seen of the armor makes it look pretty good, and that combined bonus looks pretty sweet. Good job Ubisoft, I actually like this update. Also, I giggled a bit at the architect saying the holograms could have been caused by Mercury, when the Romans synchrotized Mercury with Odin, so yes in a roundabout way the areas were hidden by Odin. It’s simple but cute.
Near the docks at Ravensthorpe there were villagers commenting on the strange happenings. By the way the Mastery Challenges doors contains some notes that talk about the runes and a secret shared by Odin and Freya that pretty much confirms that the tombs were hidden by Odin. One tomb in this update is in fact the containing prison of a Valkirie (Hildr) which is pretty obviosly connected to Hildiran (the old woman of the Challenges and most probably an Hildr Sage). Now only two runes remains, apart from the Manius Sanctum tomb, the Eye and the rest of the story between Hildr and Odin 👀
Found a weird bug that makes the sinking platforms stuck in place I just grabbed a rock to set it on the platform in the boat area and after a moment the rock got slingshot out and the the platform went back up to stay, I had to reload because I couldn't progress without the boat.
i sooo want Maniu's Sanctumn square glowin green-ish column (@ the end of tomb run) for my village deco....would be soooo sick...i want Ubisoft to sooo make that happen...for TotF property deco set...

So they DID finally fix the fishing. Did they just fix the teleport problem, or did they also turn the rubber band we currently fish with into an actual rope? Lol
Only thing annoying me is the new armour isn't an option for transmog, at least on my game, I like the look of the original more than the legendary and can't transmog it back.
I'm able to enter the tomb, but I never got the cutscene. No people standing by the river, never started when I got close enough, nothing. Just worried the achievement won't pop after I complete...
Woah woah...wait, WAIT!!! AC VALHALLA HAS A HISTORY ASPECT??? MIND!!! BLOWN!!! I thought that was erased in exchange for the helix store or that I had to buy it for helix points. Wow...

Wonder what that artifact we find in Boudicca's tomb is meant for? I look at it in the inventory and it reads, "A mysterious object found in the tomb of Boudicca."
there are 3 new items to claim from Connect section,tatoo,sword and 50 opals btw spelunker and cryptologists dropped for me altho i wonder what to do with thosde 3 artifacts one can find in tombs (there are 4 tombs,first one near ravensthoprpe is kinda training one and as such does not have an artifact)
I'm glad they updated the game and gave us more content, but I'm also not really looking forward to it because I can't upgrade my boots. I mentioned this a while back and someone had mentioned to equip the desired boots that I wanted to upgrade which worked for a little bit but I'm back to not being able to upgrade them even if they are equipped, any thoughts on what I should do?
dude I hate it to annoy but I hope you stay as cool as u were before but pls if u have contact to jorraptor or ubisoft let them know about zealot outfits and fulkes doppelhander paladin sword lol i still dream of getting them
SPOILER ALERT!!! I think there is a tiny connection to Isu in the Boudicca tomb. I found something interesting there that caused Eivor say a certain Isu word, not knowing why she said it herself. I looked in the rest of the tombs for something similar but with no luck. If anyone had found something similar to other tombs as well, please let me know. Plus, the achievement didn’t pop up either for me and I’m on PC.
The tombs are a nice addition, reminded a little bit of AC2….Although when I was in the boat I thought I was playing God of War 🤣 Nice vid Andy Edit: the haptic still doesn’t work when fishing it’s one that has really “bugged” me for a while it’s probably the most important haptic required but it disappeared months ago!
I’m on Xbox and the game loads to the title screen and then goes back to dashboard must be a problem on there end I did the update and still kicks me back to dashboard
