With the amount of great assassins creed missions there are in the series, there’s of course going to be quite a few missions that are not as great. I’ve made a video highlighting my favorite mission from each mainline assassin’s creed game and now if you can’t tell by now, it’s time to do the complete opposite and talk about my least favorite mission. I must say that this is purely my opinion, it’s okay to disagree. I like seeing friendly discussions in the comments below.

Assassin's Creed is an open-world, action-adventure, and stealth game franchise published by Ubisoft and developed mainly by its studio Ubisoft Montreal using the game engine Anvil and its more advanced derivatives. Created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond, and Corey May, the Assassin's Creed video game series depicts a fictional millennia-old struggle between the Order of Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Knights Templar, who desire peace through order and control. The series features historical fiction, science fiction, and fictional characters intertwined with real-world historical events and historical figures. In most games, players control a historical Assassin while also playing as an Assassin Initiate or someone caught in the Assassin-Templar conflict in the present-day framing story. Considered a spiritual successor to the Prince of Persia series, Assassin's Creed took inspiration from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol, based on the historical Hashashin sect of the medieval Middle East.

@@Netsuki Yet, it is definetely not the worst mission in Brotherhood. This title goes solely to the mission where you have to escort Bartolomeo to the French fortress. And this is simply due to the (probably unintended) placement of certain Borgia guards throughout the route, which instantly desynchronize you.

@@mgamobilegamingamature8684 You are in the exact same situation as me. I just beat the 8 minute mission earlier today (after 3 tries) and the key is to just memorize the route and not get distracted by the flags. Even then, it is a very tight timer. And I absolutley do not look forward to replaying through the tank and bomber missions without getting hit. But out of all of those, the hardest to full synch is definetley the French one, the only way to beat it is by using arrow storm.
@fakjbf3129

In AC3 there’s the naval mission “The Giant and the Storm”. It’s a pretty standard naval mission of go in and sink some ships, it’s actually really easy especially if you’ve upgraded your ships. That is unless you are trying to get 100% synchronization, in which case your upgrades will be working against you! The optional objective is to use the swivel cannon to blow up the ships using weak points, but if you upgraded your damage then you’ll sink the ships before any weak points are opened up. The only way to get the full sync at that point is to intentionally aim to the side of the ships so only some of your cannon balls hit and hope you get just enough damage to make a weak point but not sink the enemy entirely. Oh and did I mention there are three ships and you have to sink each of them this way? So if even one of your shots is too powerful you have to start the mission over again from scratch.

The Brotherhood one is actually pretty easy if you understand the way the guards reacted to your path, you can rush it in under 3 minutes easily (just be careful when running into the crowd). Coming from having 100% brotherhood 4 months ago, you can actually cheese the tank mission by simply playing patient, and in the final area you can actually kill all the enemies/towers without actually entering the area with proper play. Its frustrating but you'll achieve it! The hardest and most frustrating mission was Young at Heart as it is literally luck determined, based on how accurate the archers are or if Ezio actually wants to cooperate with your inputs, you'll just randomly get a good run for the 100% sync.

I actually recently played AC2 for the first time. Something I'd been meaning to do. And I found it so comical when I got to that final part of the flag mission. The way the guy runs is outrageous, I cannot believe that got into the game. After the first time I instead just dropped down early so I could tackle him on his way back, since even though he sprints fast he can't climb as quick, it's hard for him to get the flag off you after that.

Recently I picked up AC II again after a large hiatus. Bought it more than 10 years ago in a combo pack with AC Brotherhood. I have a love/hate relationship with the game. I love the setting and quite a bit of the story (modern day stuff bores me to death, though), combat is okay (nothing too fancy but quite enjoyable), but the parkour... it feels very clunky to me. I can imagine that for most people it's alright, but as someone who played basically every (Ubisoft) Prince of Persia game, it feels like a huge downgrade. It just doesn't feel as smooth, which makes things like the tombs less fun than they should be for me. Basically, I can see why many people adore this game, but I have more mixed feelings about it. Anyway, like I said, I picked it up again recently, and coincidentally the first mission I played after coming back to the game (in about 4 or 5 years) was the festival mission. Suffice to say, that it isn't the greatest mission to come back to after a long time... After almost eating my controller out of frustration, I eventually did exactly the same thing as you mentioned, and that worked immediately. But my God, what a terrible mission that is.

I bought all the AC games in a summer Steam bundle, and have been playing through them (beat Brotherhood tonight, actually!) My least favourite missions so far: AC - Any "Rooftop run to talk to find/talk to an informant". Not because of the timers, I haven't had an issue with making it in time in any game so far. AC 2 - I didn't have any missions where I loathed their appearance. Capture the Flag was kind of annoying, but I managed because the Opponent doesn't climb walls so once I had the Flag, I could climb up and win the point. AC:B - 100% Sync on "War Machine". I don't like that I have to play through the whole memory just to retry one segment.

In AC Brotherhood , the hardest Mission was Leonardo War Machines tank mission where you can't lose any health while riding the tank and if you do , you will have to restart the whole mission and the problem is when face the othet tanks at the end of mission , you will get cornered and outnumbered. In AC Unity , I couldn't catch all the flags and I was enraged because the time is not enough for me to solely catch the flags which made me quit the mission. In AC Origins , Septimius was basically Kratos in the Assassin's Creed Franchise , he kept swinging his double blades but I was able to beat him by waiting for an opening and attacking him when he finishes swinging (not on new game nightmare tho).

It’s actually a test of how well you were doing parkour in general, because the collision detection and everything is the same as other posts and objects in the game. If you were landing correctly on the rooftops without just missing and dropping down, then you’d do so just as well here. The only real hiccup is enemies, so you need to try for total stealth so as to avoid getting pushed. I think it was all by design. You had two challenges to choose from, a combat challenge if you approached the boat from the front, and a parkour challenge if going from the back. The only other target that had such a clear difference in routes was William of Montferrat. For practically every other target, the stealthy approach and the direct approach weren’t too different overall, just different in duration.

In AC: Black Flag the worst mission for me was taking down Bart Roberts directly. I hated using the rope dart on him amidst a boarding action. (I like getting the optional objectives accomplished). But the last two times I've played the game I've just stopped doing that and just killed him in more practical ways.

About mission in the first Assassins creed game. If u want to make sure u wont fall, just use ur "free hand". Its the button, that u use while the walking or parkour. With that hand you can touch and move people, throw, run and push, and grab the ledges. Grabbing the leddges in this mission is very useful. Just even try to use that move in your parkour, you will see how easier game become. And at Sibrand you already have gloves to grab

2:59 Easy way to win this part - learn where the opponent's home base is and just go wait for him there. Let him capture the flag, then tackle him when he comes back to his home base. You steal the flag, and for some reason, have no problem getting back to your own base.

It took me almost 14 -15 tries to beat Medusa. Yes, I counted. I relied 100% on my bow and using death arrows. Once I understood all her attacks and strategies, I had a clearer mind on how to defeat her but it was such a pain in the ass. I love the storyline with Medusa though. I think she looks so dope! I love what they did with her. The only reason why I'm hesitating starting an NG+ is because I can't handle trying to beat Medusa again 😂 People talk about the boar and Minotaur being the hardest but I defeated both of them on my first try. Love Odyssey!

(Also if anyone is triggered by me saying crazy people, I apologise and acknowledge that they are supposed to be the people that one of the Templar targets experiments on making them delirious, I just don't know how else to describe them)

Also about the name of the island of lesbos: the name is "funny" because lesbians are named after the island. A Greek poet named Sappho lived on that island and she was believed to be a gay woman and therefore the terms lesbian and sapphic (umbrella term for women that like other women but don't exclude men) come from those 2 names

@vallejomach6721
@vallejomach6721 4 часа назад
@@feilkate5892 The 'Stealth Outfit' is one of the cosmetic clothing items in the game available for Edward. There are multiple costumes throughout the game that can be unlocked...some have stats that do something when worn, others are just cosmetic only. When worn, the stealth outfit makes it harder for enemies to detect you, and their alert meter takes longer to fill. That makes this mission easy. To get it you need to do the first 5 Assassin Contract side missions in Havana, Nassau and Kingston...or 15 overall but doing the first 5 in each is easiest. You will need to manually sail to Kingston if you are early in game, and you should be when you get this outfit. [edit] It will take you a couple of hours probably to do these contract missions, but they are quite easy and give a good amount of coins along the way...so they're useful to do. Some people waste several hours trying to complete this story mission without the stealth suit, and whilst it can be done, it's far easier and often quicker to get the actual item in the game that this story mission is specifically designed for. {SPOILER} You know that the stealth outfit is intended to be used because when you reach the cutscene at the end of the mission the people you meet are ALL wearing the same stealth outfit that you are.

10:20 Thus legendary battle is the hardest naval battle in the entire franchise. Rogue was way harder than Blacj Flag. The trick here was to weaken and cripple ships (but not destroy them) so they were just ready for you to board. Then continue fighting the other ships and when your health gets low just board and use the weakened ships to repair yours. 18:08 Hold on a second here. You said you hate these because of how random and inconsistent the parkour/jumping is and you can easily fall to your death. Most AC fans (including myself) would agree, which is why they changed the entire parkour/freerunning system after the Ezio games so that jumping and moving was automated and you just had to hold R2 ( "high profile"). But then you say the Ezio games' parkour was your favourite in the entire series.

I actually thought it was challenging to parkour yourself over water, but maybe that’s just me. For me the most frustrating mission in AC2 was the one with the flying machine. If you crashed, which often, you would have to rewatch the same cutscene again and again and that was just tedious. In AC3 the blackpowder one for me was at first more tedious. However I found out a way where the right boat can be blown up so easily. You quickly run across from the middle of the ship, ignite it and jump out. You just have to make the timing right and swim to the back, so the guards can’t initially see you. I also found hunting the bobcat was annoying who goes in circles.

In ac4 I particularly hated the mission where you have to get the chest with the blood vials for Roberts. All the way from stealing a Portugese flag to assassinating the captain of the man o war. The problem is that detection fails the mission (or fails the 100% completion). And the enmies have crazy detection vertically on the ship and in the water as you're swimming to land WHILE it's night time mind you. In ac3 I had the same issue when I had to take out the 2 ships shooting at the city, right before doing the mission to assassinate Pitcaim at Bunker Hill.

Blowing up those 2 ships took me probably 20 attempts. Once I learned the pattern of the left ship it's alright but you need to kill all of the guards before air assassinating the heavy guard. Plus the right ship you can actually leave 2 sets of guards alive and just light the fuse while walking.

The Writhing Dread definitely works better when you have a long range strategy and the feature the game has of being able to craft arrows even when combat makes it much easier. The atmosphere of the lead up works for the creature, you’re going through an area even your skills like climbing anything and seeing through Ikaros don’t work, and there’s such a sense of foreboding you don’t want an easy fight at the end of it. A more unfair mythological fight is the Minotaur. The missions leading up to it are lower level than the actual recommended minimum level you fight the beast and it’s a much smaller arena too.

I know it's cause I suck at the game, but knowing doesn't make it less frustrating). Anyway, after almost destroying my console while not even finished with my first ever game on it, I just googled. Found two walk-throughs, one I just said "cool parkour, no way will I be able to do that" and second also had good parkour, but just said to let him take the third flag, the fourth will be as easy as first two. So naturally I jumped off the roof (and then had to repeat the mission again, cause I ran out of medicine)

That one for BF is difficult but at least it makes sense. The one that doesn't make any sense is where you have to sail the Jackdaw down a narrow river WHEN YOU HAVE ROW BOATS AVAILABLE! With Rogue, there was an exploitable glitch to avoid having to defeat the SF yet still get the trophy, although you don't get the special outfit. The glitch still worked in the remaster to. Not sure if your pick from Origins really counts since you state you're playing on the highest difficulty. The RPG elements of the last three games create a different kind of challenge, one which can easily be mitigated by simply lowering the difficulty, something that's not an option in the earlier games

The way I always do that flag minigame is simply jumping off the roof, healing, grabbing the flag, parkouring back to the start. For the third flag, I also jump off and heal, but instead of (pointlessly) running towards the flag, I stand ready to tackle him on his way back and that's it. Figured it out after three or so fails during my first playthrough back in the day. Also, a pro-tip for everyone who's having issues with the war machine missions: if you're playing on PC or on a hacked console, simply back up your save data from the last checkpoint before the difficult part (make sure to turn off network completely on PC if playing a legit copy!) and then simply restore it should you take any damage. Much faster than doing those missions from scratch every time you fail. As for the Black Fortress in Rogue- it has a massive RNG factor. I once managed to beat it while only taking some chip damage from basic enemy ships and not a single hit (!!!) from the Fortress itself. RNJesus was really smiling on me that day. Either that, or he was simply too parched and forgot that he turns water into wine by touching it. With Odyssey bosses, the strategy is quite simple- Crit Chance+ Crit Damage+ OP attacks, preferably from axes and mauls. Distinctly remember beating Medusa on Hard on my first playthrough ever and only getting hit by her gaze once because I was too cocky about dealing with her stone soldiers. Had I dealt with them properly, I would have beaten her without taking any damage whatsoever. Oh, well. She definitely has nothing on most "soulsborne" bosses.

I only just began playing AC1 and the assassination of Sibrand personally felt like the most unique and fun mission up to that point of the game, being on the docks of course... making one wrong move in AC1 can be your death and it's almost always your own fault and not the fault of level design, etc. You could argue the mission following that one is worse just because you have to deal with an annoying amount of guards while trying to finish your assassination. It's really just all up to your skills and how they carry you through the game.

The Medusa boss on nightmare mode, first go took me a whole hour. 1 damn hour. Great mission and it was kinda cool to have mythical creatures in games so closely related to myths but it was ridiculously hard! Edit: I started a replay recently and two things have occurred to me. Firstly, the Medusa fight was not as hard a second time as I was mentally and physically prepared (better weapons and not level 45 like last time) for the different phases and had the best bow. I think that’s the problem you can easily not be prepared with the right weaponry for this fight you need certain weapons and abilities at max level.

I felt something bubbling inside me when I saw the title cause I knew which mission was going to be selected for ac 1

Huh, for that Black Flag mission, I never had much issue with it. Only annoying thing was getting the timing down so I could get from bush to bush, otherwise it was easy. This is probably thanks to Brotherhood, because I will freely admit that there were many accidental assassinations because I had my hidden blades equipped, so I had a habit of either having no weapons equipped, or only having my sword equipped instead, as that would also lead to a knockout instead of an assassination.

I honestly loved both the anomalies and especially the stone cairns/rock stacking side missions. I always found them to be a cool and enjoyable thing to do. The anomalies could be a bit inconsistent which were frustrating at times but I still enjoyed the parkour puzzles (not so much the light redirection ones). Oh and I loved the little cutscenes at the end of what happened to the isu/gods. I found it quite interesting and I was super invested. And idk why but the stone stacking I always looked forward to I just found it super fun to figure out and stack. Valhalla is my favourite game so maybe I’m a bit biased here but I seriously did enjoy these (the stones way more though.)

Oh man, I love seeing a fellow Valhalla fan in the comments..I'm doing another playthrough now 2 years after finishing my giant first one. Something about that game just hits home. If it just had better parkour, stealth systems, NPC animations/design and armors that looked more like stuff you'd see on a medieval TV show that's like Vikings or Game of Thrones instead of really Uber-World of Warcraft looking stuff in the endgame I'd love it even more immensely. Eivor is such an underrated protagonist. I love that the whole game eventually leads to you realizing that you're actually playing the role of a mortal Odin..wandering, being a poet, warrior, and helping random strangers only to wander off into the wilds again in search of adventure and wisdom. The symbolic connections between Norse myths and the Isu were so genius

@@gothxm so true and I couldn’t agree more! (Btw I was honestly so confused for a second because this sounded like something I wrote - great minds think alike I guess! XD )

I personally loved the ac 4 mission myself, for the first time in the game I kinda got the feeling of pure stealth and to make it more fun I did not run or jog between bushes I simply walked i played the mission with prolly the most patience i could ever have, and i enjoyed every minute of it

The worst part of the Dulles Singh mission was that returning the carriage always had to be a stroke of luck, because you could get spotted before you reach your final point.

I totally agree with your decision for black flag, it was my first ever ac game, and I had no idea that I had to use my fists. The assassins would also detect you very fast. Overall, I just found it tedious and annoying.

I haven’t completed Origins yet but so far the worst mission has been the one where you go to help the woman who’d had multiple miscarriages and suddenly have to fight a giant snake (Apep I think?). It wasn’t even that hard, I’m used to the mythological fights in Odyssey, but it was terrifying for me, I wanted to throw up ngl As for Odyssey, Medusa wasn’t that hard either. I died once and figured out what I needed to do. Something being slower and more tedious doesn’t make it harder. I don’t have much patience either-the worst part about Assassin’s Creed is when you have to…be an assassin lol-so I’m not great with stealth but I’ve been working on it. The mythological fights were all great though, good challenges for myself, and I think Cerberus was the most challenging. Killing him was also the worst because literally everyone keeps talking about it, especially Hades. I do remember one person who was like did you hear about Cerberus and I lied like oh that’s crazy who would do that lmao

the boat tailing one in BF was the worst one for me in that game for the game during it decided to start falling apart with the image frezing while,based on sounds,edward was still able to move around,forcing me to hop into the Settings part of the menu,or directly to folders and do some tweaking oh and i actually enjoyed the glitch puzzles in valhalla,since i was like 100%ing the regions (getting all Artifacts,Wealths and "solving" every Mystery) when i entered the regions with the last puzzle completed revealing me a True ending tens of hours before the actual game did with its mythological counterpart

For the flag catching mission in Ac 2, actually it has a route that just jump above the flag from the balcony(?) just in front of the flag point. And then climb up back to the starting point. Replay again the whole game few weeks ago actually, and just find out on that point 😅
