For those having trouble playing: To reduce lag, lower your render distance. Click the gear icon at the top right, and then lower it. 3 or 4 render is pretty good and balances look and FPS well. You can also disable wind physics in the settings as well through the effects tab. LITE is also an option. Joining errors will be fixed throughout today.
Finally, the TIV 1 has it's signature grappling claws back. They don't benefit the TIV in any way and are purely for show, but damn do they look badass.

Yes, I know the TIV wasn't supposed to have any claws, but the producers of the show (show, not film) made Sean and his team add them on anyway to make the TIV look cooler. And I won't ask how you know, this isn't really the most obscure thing to know about.
I think my favorite part of this update is that NWS assessments and EMS activity all factor into the tornado track data and give a much clearer picture of just how dangerous a given tornado was. That really gives a lot more value to those gamepasses now that they serve a real purpose, since before they were mostly for earning some extra cash or just having something else to do while waiting for the next storm to pop up.
YESSS DYNAMIC TORNADOES MEANS THERE CAN BE ACTUAL ROPE TORNADOES!!! Ropes are my favorite and I was so sad they weren't in the game yet. I'm scared there will be more lag though.
6:55 dude i have always wanted that update and now the fact that it is finally here, i just cannot put into words how happy i personally am to know that the sub vortices are now circulations themselves that can pick up players and cars making for an even more thrilling chase.
Just wanted to say I did eventually get to play and the update is really cool. The lightning and tornado effects were amazingly done and the map update is really cool as well. Thank you for all of yours and the devs help in fixing these issues. :)
Its very good. But i have More and more new ideas to 1.21 update 1) The camera - you can buy a lot types of cameras. Prices will be different but it will be more expensive, this one will be have better zoom and better CD cards (more photos). Photos of storms you can take and pushe it after. Paycheck will depent on location, damages and structures. For example: If you take photos of Small cumulus - 2$ Growning Storm - 4$ Adult Storm with anvil - 8% Light rain - 1$ Moderate - 2$ Heavy - 3$ Very heavy - 4$ Hail - 6$ If you be In core you get bonus Meso - 20$ Big meso - 30$ Shelf - 10$ Lightning - 50$ Tornadoes EF0 20$ EF1 30$ EF2 40$ EF3 50$ EF4 60$ EF5 70$ If you are in tornado you get 2x bonus Damage EF0 5$ EF1 10$ EF2 15$ EF3 20$ EF4 25$ EF5 30$ The prices is for example. 2 - wind damage If Storm have strong wind, some trees will fall down in the direction of winds. Under RFD or MCS wind can do small damages, more falls trees or rare small roof and small item damages for example mailbox or fence. 3 - more types of storms On radar you can add to MCS. Wind storms on the all of map, but in small pieces of this, MCS can do bow or derecho. (Bow signature). In this area damages of wind will be biger and often. Also you can add bar map with pressure and atmospheric fronts. MCS must have huge shelf cloud and rain or hail core. On the line of storms three will be lots of stormcelles or less often supercells. 4 very controversial ideas Hurricanes - this will be extremly rere. They will produce massive winds and rains. Villages on lakes will be flooded but after distance water level will be decrease. Also big cities will be flooded. Hurricanes will be got cstegories and flood wave and damages. Hurricane must have stratiform cloudies. High level light wind/ Mid medium wind/ Low clouds wind apogee.
Been waiting for a Mobile Version every since my Laptop called "it quits", SO HAPPY with the new update!!! Last memory I have of this game was a Monster Wedge blowing Tenkiller off the map, can't wait to get back in again!!!
I just got off work and saw this, so now I'm reactivating my server and waiting. I haven't played in a few months because I wanted ro wait for the update. It's difficult picking my absolute favorite part of all the new stuff, but it's a solid tie between the updated radar system, the movement of the trees/objects and the tornadoes themselves. Hazelton being slabbed now will be a completely different experience.
Honestly, turning off the TVS icon literally makes it more realistic because in apps like RadarScope, the TVS isn’t marked in colors (so the wind speed is unknown) and the TVS isn’t exactly 100% accurate. So the TVS in Twisted is really buffed.
But for the update itself, the only thing I’m not a fan of is LITE because I want to simplify to save some fps, but not to make the map smaller or give less map detail
My doppler tower idea has finally been heard. Man, after all I've gone through in the Twisted community. I'm happy that at least the doppler towers got added.
Just played twisted for a bit and I encountered a GIANT wedge tornado and when I first saw it, it sent chills down my spine So good job graphic department
I'm so excited to see the different kinds of construction quality and anchoring systems and how it effects damage! Thats so sick! I remember seeing it in the trailer and just being blown away because I never expected that level of detail.
The fact that as I travel to Texas for 2 weeks and I’m away from my computer makes me so mad bro😭 EVERY TIME SOME MAJOR UPDATE COMES FOR A GAME I PLAY IM ALWAYS AWAY FROM MY COMPUTER.

Twisted tip guy wanna say how to intercept better step 1 go to radar step 2 look on refleticity 3 if you see a storm go down of the storm and you see on radar a hook echo and this is where the tornado gonna spawn step 4 enjoy your chase Sorry for the bad english Am french
Bro i love the sound they did for Dorthy V that's so cool love that sound love the new update I haven't played it yet because I always crash out all the time but the new update looks really good I like that they added the sound to Dorthy V like the movie
I haven't played Twisted in a while and this is honestly an extremely cool change. I don't know if you already added this, cant add this, or don't want to add this but I think it would be cool if you added a little swaying to the vehicles when its in strong winds. Again, correct me if you already added it.
Tofu i would like to say that ive seen Hazelton like Joplin 2 times in 2 days and those i'm sure are worthy to be in the storm chasing if y'all we're there.
Tofu, I'm here to say, that the dominator-1 users have been hit by a recent wave of depression. (Me included.) I think that we need 10k back (DOM-1 Used to be 100k, along with TIV-1.) The reason why I think like this is that we thought the DOM was better than TIV because of its stats. Also, this isn't really necessary, but we were pretty sad about this.
@DontSpillTheTofu I’ve had extreme trouble with my Xbox in lag with regular twisted and twisted light, both are unplayable. I lowered the render distance to 2 for both.What should I do? Also very exited for the update though keep up the great work and content grind!
I can see why this update has taken so long to come out. Outstanding work! This remains the best storm chasing game anywhere, in my opinion, and this update will just help to solidify that! Picking my favorite part about this update is impossible, though. The new storms and vehicles models look exciting, but I'm also stoked about the interior views for vehicles now! Simple, I know, but I have wanted that feature for ages!
@@Odd1006 Outbrk looks pretty insane so far. Some of the ones Jeff Favignano plays on his channel are pretty cool too, but as far as the sheer amount of content and replayability, Twisted takes the cake.
