You know in my opinion this is what separates you from most realtor sites. You speak about new developments at least once per year. I don’t know if I’d live in Raleigh but I enjoy visiting more and more. Only about 45 minute flight from NYC. I’m thinking of having a family reunion in Raleigh. I go to Burlington but I dislike the hour drive
I really appreciate your videos on keeping us in the loop of not just home buying but the happenings in the Triangle. When I moved to the area I definitely referenced your videos often. If we move again within the area, we will definitely work with your business☺️
I work in healthcare. Love Cary/Apex/Holly Springs area but having second thoughts, not sure what to do now? Do potential clients have concerns about the following & any updates appreciated: SuperFund sites in Wake County? Water coming from Cape Fear River with history of high PFAS/ forever chemicals? The Southwake landfill smell in Holly Springs? Progress? Does this hurt property values? Harris Nuclear Plant near Apex in New Hill?
6:38 ...... $8 for bread and butter, holy crap. I'm in San Diego CA and that's expensive. Looking to move back to Raleigh because of family but JEEZ. seems my cost of living won't change at all :(
Raleigh is pretty vanilla for my taste. There are more vibrant cities with more opportunities. We're headed towards a Recession...good luck to all these new businesses.
Rhetorical question but anything going on in the area that's not food/eating or shopping related? There's no entertainment for kids or adults in RDU area. Great, another Target but what about the shoppig experience in the malls (not that im a mall shopper, but just saying). I could be wrong.
Agree with you. Besides department stores and food/drink places feels like there’s nothing else. I miss going to museums and enjoying good architecture. Sadly the art collection in the Raleigh Museum is not great. 😢
Compared to NYC, how bad is the traffic in Raleigh? I keep hearing people complain about traffic but I don't think people know what real traffic like NYC traffic is. I hate how crowded NYC is and want to move to Raleigh in the next few years
Born and raised in south Florida so I know a few things about heavy traffic. The worst part about the traffic in Raleigh is the distance isn’t far but the streets are really congested and they’re only 2-3 lanes in most areas. Places get stuck because it’s 1 intersection dictating a bunch of traffic. The county has grown tremendously but the improvements in roadways since the population boom has been abysmal. My morning commute takes 20-23 mins and my return commute can be 25-35 mins. People get frustrated by the inconsistent commute times. Most people from big cities are used to 30 min commutes and stop n go traffic so if that’s not a stress for you then don’t let it bother you. During weekdays, the only bad traffic is during rush hour times. The weekends and all other times are no stress whatsoever for traffic.
@@stephenfasul5100 my commute right now is 1 hour from Brooklyn to Manhattan (10 miles). Then it takes about 15-30 minutes to find parking. I'm so sick of the traffic and parking. Anything under 30 minutes would be a dream come true for me.
So many million-dollar homes - are there really that many people who can afford that?! And if so, who? Like, what do they do for a living? I need to rethink my career....
