@vince11harris probably because it shows two minorities going from nothing and making something of themselves. It makes him feel insecure about his own failures as he's probably had a lot more advantages than these two fighters. So he calls it woke propoganda even though nothing is remotely woke in this, just to feel slightly better about the creeping sense of shame and failure that he feels at his own life watching this

Had me tearing up. No sport like boxing will inspire and fill the mind with a story of the experienced that drove these men to that very moment. I’m a huge fan of Madrimov, not just as a boxer, but as the representative of hopes and “dreams.” Trailer was too damn good. Madrimov may not win, but he will become the “Rocky” of our generation for many of us if he goes the distance.
