Great video, better than the first one. Although I do disagree with some things. But for beginners rep ranges don’t really matter, if it’s below 20 reps u can grow very well. And there isn’t any best rep range to be honest. You will plateau anyway, what’s important is to stay with your goals’ principles and program accordingly. Wether it’s adding one rep to the first set, or adding reps the other sets, or increasing the weight, or sets… it’s all the same. Just make sure to change the program every 1-2 months. It can be anything ( reps, sets, weight ect). About exercise selection, it’s very good to incorporate rowing movements. It’s better for strenght and aesthetics, and it also helps on pressing movements ( your upper back is used as a stabiliser). And I don’t agree that the pull ups train your upper back. For beginners this might develop the whole back significantly, but as you progress only doing pull ups your upper back will lag. Also I think it’s important to advise people to rest their cns. Although you mentioned it, training 3 days a week, with 3-4 relatively heavy sets with a high RPE maybe too much. And you’re also doing push days. And if you go lower than 6 reps ( for strenght) you’re cooked. 2 good sessions a week is better for most. And having one light and heavy day is even better. It allows you to recover very well, and to be able to insert for exercises for balanced physique and strenght.

@@OmarDahdal thanks 💪 - I agree that beginner rep ranges don’t matter much I just advise high frequency and high volume at the start. I do front lever instead of rows, also I don’t think that this is overtraining I’m sure people can handle it fine, but I do prefer 6-8 reps rather than under 6.

This video was very informational, keep releasing these bangers man. However, I'd like to know more about the particular routine and program that you used to progress so quickly with weighted basics.

Yo bro, how much do you rest in between sets? I know you've said between 5-8 minutes. I personally rest 5 for all exercises. How much of a difference have you felt from 5 to 8? And for which exercises do you rest 8? I'm currently doing handstand push-ups on the wall, and weighted Pull-Ups with 14kg. Do u think I'd progress faster with 8 minutes of rest? Also, what do you do while resting? I feel like I get bored during my rest times.
@danielendures

@@IvanCalex5 weighted pull-ups I rest 6 - even 12 minutes but usually 8 or so, hspu, gym exercises, other stuff usually 5, dips like 6-8, but my biceps often need a long rest especially after a higher rep set. I usually look over my footage of the set and other sets while resting plus check streetlifters on insta or just walk around shake my arms and think

Maybe I didn't got it right because my english issue but should I do every set to the failure? For example rn I'm doing 4 weighted PU sets per session, 2 sessions a week, I do all of them till failure, totaling 8 series till failure a week, that's my whole pull workout too. Thoughts?
@danielendures
@danielendures День назад
@@lhit6676 I love to do all my sets are RPE 10 which is failure in the sense that you couldn’t do another rep BUT you DONT actually fail a rep as in not finish it. 3 sets 7/8 reps 3x a week is great 💪
