I found this footage while I was madly searching for my video of Linda Lavin in the 1989 Broadway revival of Gypsy (unfortunately, I can no longer find it but I'm not giving up). I can't believe I haven't uploaded this one before! I think this is from a different performance than my other Paper Mill video with Miss Buckley. Now I only have to watch this clip from time to time whenever I need to remind myself why I love Betty Lynn so much. Enjoy!
*Sorry if the footage is quite shaky. Stabilizing it will only make it less enjoyable to watch so I just left it as it is.

Notice how Betty mixes up the lyrics towards the end, but seamlessly recovers and carries the day.

Buckley bringing this to the paper mill started every female star doing a revival. Most were great. Streisand should have done the revival in “74. Heard Julie styne wanted her to. Lansbury did it instead.
