I am glad you made this video like this. We may seem like we are complaining but most of us trying to get the best game possible for everyone to enjoy.
Can’t please everyone The game isn’t perfect but don’t mean it needs constant criticism. Atleast they’re trying They can stop playing if they like it . It’s as good as gonna gets. Obviously the game needs works otherwise they wouldn’t do so many patches . Doesn’t matter how often they listen to the players. People will still bitch in the end. It’s what they do . But when RU-vid streamers get complaints about their whiny videos They don’t wanna hear it . RU-vidrs always claim they want diverse feedback until their post gets reverse feed back
Great vid Sledge! This update was OK, but what really breathes new life into the game is always going to be more characters haha. I just hope they stop with the nonstop AOD skins/updates and turn their attention to AvED updates or even ED1 updates.
Finally!!! I play this game everyday after work and I play with my daughters for a bit.. this game is so damn good in my opinion… huge evil dead and horror guy and this is the icing on the cake! Great video
@@Hellsing7747 yeah, I just recommend watching or reading beginners tips and guides for survivors and demons. The tutorials are lackluster at best. I just picked it up a few weeks ago and despite some rough matchmaking at times I've been having a blast. Also, your account level earns xp that you can dump into whatever characters you prefer, so you can try out multiple roles while boosting the levels on the ones you play the most or are higher tiered.

I enjoyed playing support in this game. Filling the role of demon during the shortage was rough but the queue times were instant. I'll probably come back to playing it when it comes out on steam.

For me, this prestige update breathed new life into the game. Saber, you're doing a good job. Keep it up. Saw a bunch of level 1s today, so I tried not to stomp them into the dirt as demon. So I did a lot of summoning with a possession here and there to help them learn the game. Only went for blood when they walked off on their own. Because, you know... someone's gotta teach em. To help new players, I hope they add some kind of reward that gives them extra points for going against us higher level demons. If I'm much higher than a team's average account level, they should get twice the points at the end or something to that effect. Would help people catch up. Would also be down with giving solo que survivors a shemp or amulet or something along those lines, cause the solo struggle is real. Would also also be down with powerful non-possessable demons that spawn at the second and thrid pages, because sometimes the rushes be extreme. Slowing down the good teams, even for 10 or 20 seconds, would be amazing. Could even have a couple of those powerful demons randomly patrol the map for some interesting situations. Perhaps even create perks in the skilltree for them as well. Go wild Saber. Go wild.
It sounds like that's why the movie Freddy VS Ash VS Jason didn't happen was because the Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise wanted too much for their share of the revenue.
Great Video im also enjoying the latest update a lot it was very nice from the devs increasing the spirit points we get after a match or for ranking up your account level..... So far the only thing I didn't like was David getting nerfed he was never as good as Cheryl so I feel like he didn't deserve any nerfs he was just fine now he is the weakest Support 😕
Yeah, I hope he is gonna get the rest of his abilities reworks which may be why they did the nerf. He did have some op combos with him + wash full tank setup or him + 3 leaders with dr perks. So makes since to nerf that 30% to 20%, but sadly he is usless desides that ability.
I still truly love this game, I just love Evil dead in general, that's why I'm still willing to put up with some of the crap that goes on such as nerfs or ridiculous balance changes. I just wish that we had a road map or at least some kind of feedback for future content, also the prestige system is wack as hell, I hope they consider to change it soon.
I feel demon needs an optional objective to do when survivors are collecting pages. Survivors get loot and weapon rarity to progress their strength. Demon should get something else other than leveling up. Maybe ritual sites or something that give bonuses or etc with variety of perks
When many people criticize a multiplayer game so intensely (or products in general), it’s usually because many of those people are ALREADY sold on their product due to the potential they see for something far better and out of appreciation for the starting concept the game was at first. But it’ll never reach that ‘perfect’ state without the willingness of dev teams to listen, analyze, and improve all the weaknesses of the game. Criticism is single handily the most useful tool to any company or team responsible for a product and the smart ones will take that criticism and turn it into a better product whereas more petty ones will just see criticism as people complaining. My biggest problem with BHVR is that they seem to have long abandon the will to improve the core elements of their game once they realized and settled in with the fact that they were always going to be able to depend on DLC for the survival of the game and unfortunately the community continues to support them by dumping money into that game for cosmetics and DLC when the game has had severe gameplay issues for years. But since Dead by Daylight sold everyone on the idea on being the “horror hall of fame”, the game hasn’t died yet when realistically it should have due to the poor management of the game by the devs
Sledge, probably you will not even read the comment. But I'm looking for it for a LOT of time. I'm looking for any guide with all the "effects" when we're playing. These effects/status that are show below our health/fear bar, with green or red arrows. I'm really curious to learn more about it, but it's really hard to find any info about it.
A lot will probably disagree with me, but the additional 30% spirit points per level up is 40,000 vs the original 30,000 per level. It still doesn’t seem on par with the amount of points you’ll need to prestige further. I would suggest lowering the challenges for both survivors and demons.
tbh i disliked the prestige System alot also when it was released but i have to say its bot as bad as it seems if u just play and dont just skip every challenge. it took me only 3 days with 3- 4 hours playtime a day to prestige from 2 to 3. so id say in average u need like maybe 1 week for 1 prestige level if just play few hours a day and skip the very annoying challenges like boss kills , finisher and so on.
They need to do something, it takes like 16 million spirit points to prestige 5 a character. It’s b.s. no chance of ever prestiging unless you literally play 10 hours a day and you might get a couple prestige’d
@@Endo_4weeks its around 12 million for a survivor but only if u skip just everything till P5, otherwise u spend way less if u just complete easy challenges by playing and skip annoying/hard ones. also the 7k + SP and 40k SP for a level up now makes it easier also.
@@Endo_4weeks like i said 12million is ONLY the price if u just skipoing evrrything without playing , like i mentioned before for example my prestige 3 upgrade was almost for free for just 3 days playing with few hours each.
Another great thing they could do is have every survivor have 2 different abilities, and giving you the choice of one of the two before the match. That would improve the variety and survival factors imho
While the prestige system is a great addition to give us something more to get invested in, I maintain that the survivor nerfs (again) were beyond senseless. Henry gets his cooldown practically doubled from release and David gets nonsensically nerfed in his only real practical ability. Here's to hoping they address the latter especially and I hope season 2 brings us Ash vs Evil Dead content that everyone has been asking for in Ruby, Baal, Chet, and Brandy.
My main issue is epic store giving free download. I either get all new teammates and overpowering demon. Or super weak demon that rage quits because they're new.
The thing that scares me the most about evil dead is that I don't think they have enough content to add to the game for the next few years ? Maybe someone could correct me on this ?
They have the tv show which is enough for 1/2 year of content. They have the new movie coming out which is 1/2 year of content. They could prob milk one more 1/2 year but getting chars that people request most from all the movies and tv shows that was mis first round. After that 1.5 yrs they can easily get another .5 years if they add jason + freddy + survivors from the movies since they are cannon from the comics.
I really want to get the game, but it seems like if you are a beginner it is almost impossible to have fun online. So, I really don't know if I should buy it. The deluxe edition is $ 25 on ps5.
I stop playing ED right after Castle Kandar. My RX570 just can't handle it, constantly 20fps on that Map with 90%+ GPU Usage. Even though I want to try this new update I just can't play it anymore.
The comparison to BHVR's seeming inability to fix issues that the community have had is very apt. THe vault bug has been in the game for so long and, despite much community outcry, it has yet to be fixed. And then you look at ED and i remember when they said demons could jump through windows and hving it fail every other time i tried it and then the next patch they fixed it (it still happens occasionally but now its because im sprinting at a bad angle to the window not because the game just didnt work) an there are so many other exampes i could bring up. DBD is an amazing game, but the devs of ED are just straight up better at listening to its community. Even the Fog Whisperes (content creators that essentially have the ears of bhvr) feel like their voices are being ignored on some of these issues. Im glad Saber is seemingly very commited to the longevity of this game and i hope they continue putting in the work to make this game as great as its potential to be great because that potential is there.
Bhvr logic here's overpriced cosmetics a licensed chapter and lots of bp > listening to community making game actually good and fixing broken issues that been there since day 1.
I do like that saber is trying but there are still things where they need to improve on, such as the new UI concept video you did and how saber is still leaving new players to the dust with information not given to them such as 1)class buffs and debuffs support -20% range and melee damage hunters +50% range, -30% melee damage warriors+50% melee, -50% range damage Leaders no debuff or buff 2)how much shemps heal shemps heal for 50% of the players hp support shemps heal for 350 hp for all allies nearby (can be increased with the perk shemps plus) 3)using feet, yards, and meters? idk why but all the description in the perk tree says feet, but in game its in yards, while in pc they are given just meters for everything so everything is clear, while for console players we see 180feet! increase in flute mans range, in reality you have too divide by 3 to get the yards number, which is what's used in game on console, so it turns out it's only 60 meters/yards this also effects ranged weapons, so when a gun says 75 feet, it really means 25 yards/meters until damage drop off comes into play. saber fix you're metric systems and stop confusing console players 4) not providing a menu displaying all the stats for weapons, survivors, or demons. (i would love a gun range mode to test every single weapon, but at the very least, a list of weapon stats would help new players a lot) this goes for survivors hp, stamina, etc and demons hp, damage stats for every single unit. these are the most obvious things that come too mind when getting into evil dead and not knowing how anything works, like classes, demons, weapons, etc. also if they were to add a new temporary gamemode for this game, it would be "newbie" no skill points applied to all characters, and all passives unlocked, basically everyone will play their character as vanilla as possible, without using any skill points to make powerful builds that destroys the under leveled when it comes to having little too no skill points available.
The problem i'm having with prestige mode is everyone is rushing now. I had 4 or 5 matches were people on my team left me because I was looting. Really, is 45 seconds going to make that much of a difference?
I really don't have any major criticism for the devs besides their lack of communication about upcoming stuff if I'm gonna be honest, and I think with the spirit point increase the prestige system is pretty good.
I’m not saying I’m good or bad at the game but I have no friends and I solo queue and some randoms I play with are questionable like the mmr in This game is bad 😔 having 3 people that are level 1s and a level 489 demon is okay🤔 like where’s the balancing in this 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I am not mad lol i am just sharing my opinion I think you being too nice to this company i guess out of bias towards this franchise but idk but i don't think they deserve it this type of support which is really lucky for them , i doubt how long they will continue to survive on that luck but people should not encourage preordering game multiplayer ones across the board, as its becoming a extremely problematic pattern with these companies with things like we fix game after its released & make dramatic & unfair changes afterwards like get your basics right atleast before you think you have right to advance payment for game that only small portion gets to test it out.

Na they did wrong. Making the game free this weekend was wrong. All the noobs are having a bad experience and not going to buy it. They join a game and verse me (MAX level demon) and I destroy them. They are having a terrible experience. We need skill based match making. Please, sledge be real. Be honest. Be yourself. Don’t sugar coat nothing sledge. You know as well as I do, this game needs skill based matchmaking. I can see you trying very hard to say good things. I hope you make come out with a more brutally honest video. Saber, listens to you
Listen to Who is the real question? Cult leader with their sheeps then yes they listen to them lol , forget about these abusrd updates so far ,wait till new players get caught up with this game a bit they will realize why it is dying game & loose interest just as those in past who invested so much money, time & put up with awful experience it offered to screw those people off , i do like graphices but other then that nothing else wasted my money with collector edition gonna sell this rip off to some sheep out there.
