I still can't believe I predicted it by accident. Before the direct I was like "I hope we get splatoon 3" but I was really like there's no way they announce splatoon 3 ...right?
Literally when u said it’s a blend of Splatoon 1 and 2 I felt that! I type knew Splatoon 3 was going to have a more Splatoon 1 feel since that game was on the Wii U, on top of Splatoon 2’s success... It just makes so much sense (Chaos winning Splatfest), and ecstatic is NOT even the word. I haven’t been this hype since 2017!

13:07 I'm speculating that instead of skins these are how different variations of the same weapon (eg. The Blaster & Custom Blaster) will look a lot more different so you can make out which variation of the weapon it is
would be cool to have maps based on each region around the world. So egypt you would fight on a pyramid and in england you fight on a large bridge or something
My biggest hope for new movement tech is some kind of fast fall, where holding B after you reach your original jump height causes you to fall faster. Vertical stages would become a lot more exciting
The lasers aren't from the crab, you can see them in the twitter thread Nintendo posted. You called them "bottle rockets" at 12:49 but those are actually mini killer wail speakers, we don't know what the crab does yet. Also this is just a prediction from me but those poses we see near the end make me think we're getting some kind of Play Of The Game thing, which would be pretty hype.
In the middle dynamo’s design is different that’s it. The angles they are aiming the camera at make us thing it’s bigger but it’s not from a splat 2 screenshot that looks similar to the one for Splat 3. Cool to see that dynamo was getting some attention when this game was shown.
I think if you think in the way Nintendo does, it’s very clear that they will be dumb and make the flying spawn thing ONLY be for the start of the match. And normal spawning will be like splatoon 2/1 -.-
I am 95% sure the lazers are just summoned around you and auto aim as you can see from the screen shot from the player walking away from them, and the C.R.A.B is a completely different special all together.
Everyone is saying they got rid of gender but they didn’t. The hairstyles and clothing is just gender neutral. The body shape and eyebrows are still gender dependent. Also, small nitpicks. Judging from the way the inkling holds it it’s a normal bow. Not a cross bow. Also, the round thing is the range blaster. The other one is a normal blaster, not a range blaster. As for the look of the game. I’m not a big fan of the whole desert chaos theme. I can’t wait for the new stingray/killerwhale special. I’m also just waiting for cjet and explo to be comfirmed
well they got rid of gender in the way of explicitly forcing you to choose “inkling boy” or “inkling girl.” it just gives more flexibility and choice to the player, and that’s fun

the crab does NOT shoot the lasers the lasers still functions the same, but you deploy like 7 or 8 mini killer wails that... shoot... idk how it works other than that, but the crab likely walks side to side while shooting weak-ish bubbles, and climbs on walls because why not :)

@@ProChara so... you think the crab shoots lasers because nintendo of portugal said that they "found" 1 new and 1 old special on twitter. that sounds more like a typo, Im very sure the lasers come from the speakers and the speakers come from the inkling not the crab, it wouldnt make sense for the crab to shoot lasers since that would render its mobility ability useless, AND you dont see any crabs anywhere near the speakers that create the lasers, it just seems like a bunch of tiny killer wails you set up and then let free.
@@BoulderWraith where does it show speakers create the lazers? and the crabs could be launching them leaving them able to be destroyed with the slight movement helping it aim the lazer or avoid attacks kind of the salmonid stingray users
@@Luwis_The world style was also used for animal crossing new horizons. So the word choice is irrelevant. There isn't gender there either if they wanted to outright state gender as you are saying then they could have done what splatoon 2 did. Case and point splatoon 3 said non binary rights
