A very good idea of merging hero levels which will help on upgrading faster like having 5 levels at each town hall like if we have to upgrade 15 levels of hero levels currently so we can merge levels 3 per level and for 10 level merging 2 level stats this is a pretty good idea I hope you will consider this
Merging the eagle with the town hall is a bad idea. Gonna make attacking easier. Now you just need to take out the town hall and you eliminate 2 major defenses instead of one
My problem with more heroes is the fact that more equipment will be required for the new heroes, which means more upgrades for those new equipments will be required and as a f2p player, ores are already scarce as it is, so priorities for each equipment will be hard to maintain
Agreed. However I’d like to think the release cadence of the equipment will be the same, meaning the same progression. It’s just that the equipments would be spread across different heroes rather than just more and more equipment for the same hero, despite only being able to bring two pieces of equipment.
@@JudoSloth.2 yeah but to make the new heroes viable you have to upgrade more equipment, instead of 6 equipments that you main you now need 8 and so on
However they confirmed that on TH17 there won’t be new levels for the common and epic equipment so eventually when you get every common maxed (you can do it on Th14) and when you max the epic, what are you gonna do with your ores?
Laboratory needs some time reductions for upgrading troops, currently it's taking too much, you get to a point where you're all maxed except laboratory upgrades
@@gamerboyx8243i feel like its not impossible to max out each troop before upgrading townhall after you reach TH level 12 because most of the costly upgrades are from gold Heck, I have maxed out all my troops at town hall 13 like a month ago and I still have a ton of upgrades to do They need to rebalance the timers for TH13 tbh, buildings and heroes take so much
@@connornodwell1130 No use waiting on the laboratory if your buildings are maxed for the current town hall level as that's a colossal waste of builder time. You are the one who needs to learn so maybe check out Judo's old videos on upgrading the town hall🤦♂️

Personally, I think the idea of merging the Town Hall and the Eagle is terrible, because something like Yeti / Balloon / Super archer blimp and flame flinger will make so much value because those 2 important defenses is now in the same place
I think what they might do with the merged town hall is that the eagle artillery shoots like usual. But when troops enter the blind spot of the eagle artillery, the town hall activates it's inferno beams.
I think people always assumed it would be the next step following the Infernos which are TH10, the Eagle was TH11. The Eagle in the TH has been suggested for years. Then they added it in the Capital Hall too.
I think you forgot one, there are already 8 Archer Towers, so in terms of merging, they would only need to add an additionally canon, and no archer tower
what du you you mean? If wanted a fith merged tower, they would have to add two more archer towers. Anyways, I think they would actually have to add one more, because what would happen to your geared archer tower when merging those? I cannot imagine it would dissapear. Same goes for canon and Mortar
@@syndrom4193 You'd merge that extra tower anyways, so you end up going back to the prior number of total archer towers, only with one more merged tower.

Combining Eagle Artillery with a Town Hall is just a defense nerve unless the house doesn't give Massive HP , And I want the defense to have several options like the attack, I mean we know that Inferno is fire, but what if there was another mode where you could make it ice? This way we have several methods and opens up areas for more innovative designs.
I really do hope they keep the built-in Fire Tower and not just replace it with the Eagle Artillery entirely. At least have Both towers fight as one tower.
An option can be to choose your cc in challenges, changing cc and asking for troops is son uncomfortable due to the time, because if you want to try an new attack, changing cc constantly can be annoying.

No, not the 5th hero being labeled as the solution for this tedious hero grind, I always maxed out my heroes, but now that abilities is not directly related to hero levels anymore, then the grind for my mini accounts like th12 and 13 would still suffer at the cost of passing up the war for the sake of maxing out my heroes to grind those shitty ores, I'm looking at you starry ore that is not even available to the daily star bonus, Clash community really bites out the eagle merging stuff and the so called 5th hero, when it only benefits the upper echelon. Well atleast there will be only 2 pets from now on each town hall.

Yeah I'm in that boat, but my whole clan who was not max had all their heroes on upgrade. Based on my clan that was one of the best events they have ever had

Judo I have a suggestion for clash of clans developers . It's not about the hero equipment. It's about a supercharge concept. Like imagine a clan castle as a generator hub or as a generator. And this generator supercharges other buildings like we have the current update but we have the supercharge for a few buildings. Why don't they add the supercharge options for the whole building and add a limiter for the generator. Like I mentioned the clan castle as a generator. We can add the limiter like the limiters role here is imagine the real life generator works it trips when we use the power in overload way it trips right like wise why don't we add the limiter in clan castle and let players choose the supercharge upgrade for the selected buildings. And they can also make this feature to add like in attack mode. .In attack mode when players destroy the clan castle the supercharges building won't work or they might not be able to supercharge since the generator is destroyed. So so would you request this to the clash of clans team. To make this work. Maybe the players love the new concepts instead of upgrading max.😅
You’re welcome. Sorry you think that. I personally think it was a good year for clash. Yes there was a lot of new things and experimentation that didn’t always work, but those things are important for the longevity of the game and in my opinion it’s better to have more events than what we used to have years ago with nothing substantial in between updates.
This was an interesting year for clash both in terms of play and cosmetic , both saw an increament in speed and quality . Sadly many people do not always appreciate new content but on the other this also keeps in check the damage that might be done like in case of Clash Royale
Agree that this year's meta has been so weird since start of th16 like king bug from start then rr,druids and valks being broken leading to those one minute attacks, but we also got some banger updates this year like hard mode,supercharged defenses, equipments and many more..
07:56 - Exactly! Upgrading your heroes will at most times make you unable to do good battles, and instead of being active, you're just not playing, and that should not be either this or that. I haven't upgraded my heroes in a few months because i then won't be able to join wars or do decent attacks. My heroes are just in the 40'range, but 4-5 days without a hero is still not ideal. They are too focused on locking you in place rather than you trying to be active.

I think new town hall would be black themed, i think you missed the black normal barracks they teased in their recent video.. you could discuss that as well
Hopefully they add traps that will negate or at least decrease the damage of damage equipments or traps that can be triggered only by heroes. It probably will make difficulties for some but also make the game unpredictable. For me, traps are vital to add excitement into the game.
I disagree, there should be less randomness in the strategy! The main thing is the player's skill! It's better to just cut the characteristics of the heroes
@van_slava1774 It’s a casual game, and as far as skill goes most players just spam certain troops for a 2 star. Otherwise dragons would've been hit with the nerf bat a while ago if they wanted to make attacking harder.

It was really interesting to watch💝 Here are some things I'd love to see come with the TH17 update: 1) Reduction to time and resources on upgrades specifically walls and defenses like wizard towers, cannons, archer towers, mortars and air defenses. 2) more use for elixir: I feel like most of the time nowadays on higher TH most important resources are gold and dark elixir, I would love to have use for elixir on new hero (similar to warden) and pets. 3) more ways to acquire ores: I feel like ores (specifically starry ore) should be able to be acquired more easily rather than just through war and raid weekends but also if possible the amount to be increased especially if they're planning to add more epic equipment. 4) no time for army training: the game feels very slow compared to any other games nowadays and it would be really good if they removed the time to train (ofc it would affect the training potions but they could remove it kinda like how they removed the need to use resources to train), I loved the training treat a lot from the chest event and I hope they intigret it into the end of the pass (similar to boxes in cr or star drops in bs). 5) lastly new key defense for th 17 : if they're planning on merging the eagle with TH I'd love to have a new key defense in the game. That's all for now I'm very excited to see what there's gonna be for TH 17 and what changes will come! 💝
I believe that removing the training time will break the game for two reasons. 1. Too many resources will be stolen from people. 2 .This will make players without a personal life and work much stronger than players who enter the game for 30 minutes - 1 hour a day, because players will be able to farm for 12 hours and pump much faster, the game must have a balance, and the time of training troops is a deterrent. BUT I agree, the training time of the army and heroes should be reduced by at least 1/3
Remember when they add a new troop they're going to make ridiculously up and nerve it later when they add something else to the game just to optimize they're chances of getting our money you know cuz they need money so bad
I could see the new merged Eagle Artillery working similar to Clan Capital's Capital Hall, except with the added benefit of whatever the merged version may have. The shockwave damage and range of the Eagle Artillery is very underwhelming, so I could see there being upgrades made in that place. If it were of a lower Town Hall, I'd say the aritllery rounds could arc around, dealing 1 tick of town hall dps, alongside the actual artillery shot. With the giga inferno's addition, I'd say the shockwave could would similarly to Builder Hall's lava launchers, creating a radius of constant damage. As for the post destruction bombs, I suggest going nuclear. Only way to go is up :)
I have a cool idea the next hero should be a dragon king/queen. So far all hero’s have been humans I guess most likely because it’s easier to make cosmetics/skins for them however it would be cool to see a hero similar to warden where his air form will be a dragon and his ground form is humanoid.
I hate this nature theme so I’m just excited to finally get those colors off my screen and work on something different. Aesthetics aside the gameplay this time is so much better and much more fun to attack than th15 gameplay
One of my biggest hopes in terms of the issues youve discussed in previous discussion videos is making the tutorial last a bit longer. For example make townhall 1-8 have no building timers/very little so that way you get to experience moderate progression and experience from a small pool of troops to a wide range then including spells and dark troops and the barb king, then from 9 onwards start increasing upgrade times where ore management with equiptment and the archer queen come into play, means people will progress through the start faster incentivising longer term playing but also still have the grind aspect where it matters

Lab needs to have major major time reductions At TH13 we already have upgrades taking 9 days plus yet we only have one queue. Either give us 2 upgrade queues or cut times in half because this is ridiculous
That will feel a bit off since the release of the Eagle at TH11 as the seperate building we all know (Hype towards the difficulty spike was big but fun during the gameplay, since Eagle was projected as the powerful defensive building and vice versa, Warden was made as the powerful offense at the time, just to somewhat counterbalance that spike in difficulty)
Merging Town Hall and the eagle make it easy to wipe out the core defence I guess...cause when someone snipe the TH with the Fireball or Blimp You already lost 2 Major defense in your base. Just my Opinion for This upcoming Update.
I think merging the Eagle with the Town Hall could be a great idea. It would also be awesome to have more customization options for setting up our bases. For instance, introducing a major defense that can be switched out, similar to the Spell Tower, could add a new layer of strategy. Each new Town Hall could bring a new major defense option, which might help keep base sizes more manageable.
Town halls right now drop a freeze and poison when destroyed (to my knowledge right now). Imagine if they added something that acts like the tornado trap and spins them for some time or even a spell that significantly slows them down like what the poison spell does but for a longer period of time since there's no damage, its just slow movement, maybe even It deploys an enraged troop as a last defender but its a bit of a long shot. Just my take, I wonder if they're good ideas though.
I am very skeptical about the idea of Eagle Artillery with the th it will have crazy value and MUST be targeted and shut down immediately, and the more value the merge is the more urgent to destroy it first. A common way to build basis nowadays is to put the artillery on one side while the th on the other just because each one holds Big value.
It would be cool if they introduced some way for heroes on defense to use ability but that might be to strong, another idea is if they gave more spell options to the spell tower such as a freeze spell, heal spell that can heal defenses(the healing would have to be lower than the offensive healing spell) etc.
i think an idea kinda like the builders apprentice where if you have let’s say 4/6 builders available at a time, you could put multiple builders on one building to shorten the build time. I feel like that could be a huge help for the longer upgrade times.
I get the desire to conserve space. But merging the EA with the TH seems like a huge disadvantage. As it stands, having to adjust your approach to account for both is a huge factor for planning. Being able to eliminate both at the same time without the split focus is gonna feel rough from a defense perspective for a while.
If they keep reducing building upgrade times then they need to do something about pet and laboratory research times, because they take much longer to complete. With pets, allow more than 1 pet to be upgraded at a time. In the lab either allow more than 1 research at a time or reduce research times. As it is now when the buildings are done you can still have months or pet and especially research to do.
And the eagle merge will work like the clan capital building and the town hall is gonna have way more hp, just like the merged cannons and archer towers.
We're looking for a new feature to shorten or at least help upgrading troops and spells in the laboratory. Just like the builder apprentice, we need something like a researcher apprentice something like that as well because upgrading troops and spells takes a lot of time as well so this would be a game changer. A researcher apprentice can be placed inside the Town Hall as well and can be upgraded just like the builder apprentice. Hoping for this consideration.
The last nerf stole me the happiness to play this game. I want only finish walls and doesn’t care anymore of wars, cwl, ecc. I only want to finish my th16 and stop here. Doesn’t care of th17, do whatever you want.
I still don’t know how I feel about the eagle merging with the town hall, one of the main reasons why I dislike clan capital is cause of the main town hall.
I think that they might “merge” the amount of targets the eagle can lock on too. Imagine an early artillery that could lock onto 4 separate troops? Best part is that it would be balanced out by the fact that the town hall doesn’t activate until 51% or if something hits it.
I think TH merging with the Eagle is interesting. It would put a lot of importance on 1 building, and the meta would probably be only anti-2 star bases. If I can use a sneaky blimp, yeti bomb, super archer bomb, or blizzard to get both the eagle and the TH, I’m doing that every time. I think it’d just be cool to upgrade the TH into something like the capital hall weapon with the current inferno. So we still get a new powerful TH feel, and keep our loved eagle artilleries.
implementing the eagle artillery in th17 for me would be a nerf, cuz the inferno weapon is very op cuz the speed fro taking down troops and chanching that would be worse in my opinion
For the people that have played castle clash igg, coc is slowly evolving into castle clash with how 4 heroes slots whilst adding more to choose from, this is the future of clash of clans.
Always said it be cool to merge townhall with eagle and call it the "Heros Hall". Make it operate like the pet house, allowing you to upgrade heros without using a builder. Depending on defense layout we could allow players to switch the new Heros hall between giga tesla and EA mode. Also I recommend a poison lizard buff to make it more usable. Give it a poison aura ability that makes it like a walking poison spell slowing down enemy heros and cc troops. Also how bout sprint wars for Builder base that are fast paced? They can be launched once each day and last 8 hours long. Because you cant see the 2nd base each player gets 2 attacks like normal wars but allow re-attacking a base they just failed on. This would increase Builder base interaction while also offering more ore for players to earn. Just a thought for now.
With the addition of a fifth hero would they all be able to be used in defense? Or will they get rid of hero pads and create a new hero house much like there’s a pet house? So only 4 can be used in defense? The offense side of it is an easy to understand part of it but for defense I’m stumped on it For the army training I would like to see something more like how builder base is. Not with the zero training time but perhaps being able to switch back and forth between the two armies you can train for battles. Either a complete switch of the two armies or just a small limited number of the troops that you have already trained
I don’t think adding a 5th hero helps with the issue of not being able to use heroes while upgrading. You only unlock the 5th hero probably very very late into the game at the point in time where your hero’s are likely a high level. For anyone who only has 1-4 heroes, it doesn’t affect them.
For the eagle artillery in the town hall, I would guess they act as both. It activated the eagle artillery based on number of troops, but when hit it activates the attack of the town hall.
If the game continues like this I will probably stop playing The problem is My base is nearly maxed but except heros and if I upgrade them I can’t fight if I can’t fight I can’t get ores and stars Even if they add another hero they still should make them playable while upgrading
Agreed, there needs to be more options. More heroes helps, and perhaps when there’s multiple in the future it will ease it even more. But if they’re not adding the feature permanently I think they could bring it as an event, or a magic snack to help us more.
If they do make it possible to use heroes while upgrading hero books would be almost useless so they'd have to possibly reduce the maximum level for heroes drastically but increase their time and have the upgrades give out more stat increases they could make it so that heroes under upgrade have decreased stats or something similar
Idk how u can't fight without heroes but considering ez lvl of game now u can clearly get 3 starts(not always but mostly) even if ur heroes are upgrading, only exception is warden...
All i hope for in th 17 is to stop adding new equipment... we already have alot of them and they're hard to max especially the epic equipment and having that much equipment makes the game alot more complicated Or maybe drop a new equipment once every new town hall level that will make it so much better
New hero means 6 more equipment... and 17 will be a nervous to equipment. Already announced no new levels on equipment... but all defenses will get a new level... and new hero levels are pointless now as abilities are now tied with equipment now... a level 1 king with maxed equipment is about the same as a maxed king
i think they should make it possible to pause your builders then you can use your heroes when you need them,then un-pause when you want to upgrade them
I think the merging will be like the clan capital where the range of the merged townhall will likely be lesser and activated when the troop is near the range of the townhall and not when the townhall is disturbed like the present.
Merging the eagle with the town hall (if the weapon becomes the eagle artillery) would mean that the meta of attacks would shift drasrically. Normally you put the eagle and the th on opposite ends of your village. That‘s not possible anymore. Most people leave the town hall for the end of the attack to not have to deal with the poison. That ,as also be different because that would mean that you leave the eagle artillery alive for the whole attack. I‘m so intrigued by this
Judo this brings up an intresting question if they are trying to get rid of all of the cannons and archer towers where does that leave geared up buildings? Do we just lose them and maybe the merged defense still has the gear option? Or do they keep them as is which means all they need to do is add one more archer tower though if they leave them as is that brings another problem how do these two keep up? Currently they are stuck at town hall 15 so if they don't merge do they get levels of their own to keep them from becoming useless?
You missed th11... a year of upgrading ... just so they could and another level to every building and every wall.. the wall grind at 11 was the worst ever
i really hope to see 2 quality of life updates for 2025: -a leader or co leader should be able to see who’s inviting a player to the clan like when you press the player that just joined it’ll say ‘invited by x’ (since we can’t we’re prone to trolls) -increase the quick train tab rename army space! you can barely type in the army name; having more space to add what we use for cc and spells for that army would be amazing
If there's 8 canon and acher tower to merge, we have 4 of both merged defense. I think CoC will merge the merged canons and acher tower in future town hall till there's 1 of both standing
