This is going to be ass, not only removing a defense, but removing the giga infernos as well which are very good. They are gonna have to really change how the eagle works to make it an upgrade over giga infernos
I think the new Defense could be Something that ccs (for example Freezes) all Troops next to it for a short time like a stomper from builder base with double ish radius and an ability like freeze or rooting would be cool if they Made CC more part for the Defender and not just the Attacker in my opinion
Basically with the gear up buildings there are a few options 1. they get abandoned for now. (not likely) 2. They just get merged and the merged building still has the gear up option (which would make both the cannon and archer tower broken in power. 3. Like the first they dont get merged (which would mean they would only need one archer tower and if they needed to merge them it would require one cannon) but instead they get unique levels to keep them up so they dont fall down even more (i dont think this one is super likely because of what has been said but it could happen).
I don t think they will merge two stronger defenses like x bows , but something like mortar, wizard tower and teslas are a good option. Imagine regular teslas merge into a giga tesla , not like builder base, more like in clan capital style
Ore economy will take a hit if they release new hero and it's equipment and then new levels to existing equipment all at once. It is good decision to let players max out new hero's equipment.
It’s crazy to believe that every town hall has a signature defense some were added later to the town hall then others and some are kinda bad but I didn’t realize this til th14. Th1 cannon, Th2 archer tower, th3 mortar, th4 air defense, th5 wizard tower, th6 air sweeper, th7 Tesla, th8 Bomb tower, th9 xbow, th10 inferno, th11 eagle artillery, th12 townhall, th13 scattershot, th14 builderhuts, th15 monlith/spell towers and th16 merge. There has even almost been a new trap for some as well… I may be wrong but this is how I remember them off the top of my head I think most people knew this but if not it’s kinda interesting.
Possible merged defense (my opinion) Split attacking Mortar (fire multiple projectile at once) Flaming Wizard Tower (have an aura like Electro Titan) Shockwave Tesla (behaves like Clash Royale Evolved Tesla)
What indont like about merging is that it screws up your legends base for 2 days... building go away and leave huge holes... base cant be used as a lay out until mid night... and then it want be set until the following day... 2 days of getting smoked because we are force to merge

Well, I don't like the idea to merge the th with the eagle.... One successful Blizzard or a Sui and so many hitpoints are down. Both key defenses are balancing out the weaknesses of bases....
I do have a hero concept for Clash of Clans but I don't need to tell its stats or anything it's all on the team just a quick idea about it, it's a hero that specializes in healing and immortality and has no means to attack or deal damage to anything at all, just like Dr. Kavan from Boom Beach, and its equipments also specialize in that too and this hero should not get a damage equipment at all, maybe let's say it's a Healer Queen or Queen of Healers
is it only me or others also think that clash of clans isnt like it used to be , i mean it has become too easy , the cost are reduced , and the main thing that made it boring is the training costs being removed , it was more fun when we had to compromise upgrade so that we dont run out of elexir so we can train our troop. plus the defences updates are not good like the merging of defences , i mean its the worst. and the art style of the new battle machine is just sh*t, i dont think any change was needed in the battlemachine, many players including me have stooped playing the builder base just beacuse of the recent updates in it. i just shared my opinion . want to know if anyone else thinks the same.
I used to play when TH10 was the max. It was terrible to attack, I had to plan with a day in advance what I had to train for war. And for normal attacks? I used 99% of the time barbs and archers, because it was time/cost efficient. There was no point in training good troops, because if you wanted to resources, you just needed to attack the outside, or lightning the storages; if you wanted to climb, you had to look for outside TH (everyone had it outside). And the upgrade times where atrocious, wspecially with only 3 builders. The 4th builder was actually hard to get, unlike now
I’m sorry to burst everyone’s bubble but the skeleton king probably not gonna be added we already have a barbarian king skin, called skeleton king would just be a huge issue because the name so could be a completely new hero

Because if they don't do that, then your geared-up Cannon and Archer Tower won't get any more levels and will remain exactly as they are now, and I don't want that to happen to my precious double cannon. It's too cool to just be left behind. 5:54 Oh, alright, so they have some kind of plan, maybe.
the new defance would be a x bow with splash damage. i mean it soots 3 arrows whish pirced through the singal target and do splash in a small area with the arrows which pirced through the main target. or even a satter shot like defance which can be set in a fixed dirrection like sweaper which makes the the troops coming at the defances or building in range of the ££defance retargate to the ££defance {££new defance}
