LOL! The mirror adjuster is right there where you put your hand beside the shifter. It plainly has a R on one side and L on the other. Click to whichever one you want to adjust and then do so.
I support you bro 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I love hearing people talk about the things they are passionate about. When you focus on being yourself… people will learn to like the things you love🖤. You will also find people that have a similar interest (that’s from being the genuine you) This was my dream car when I was younger. Now that I’m older I’m looking for a toy car. 😆. I might just go down this road.
If you buy a can of Scotguard UV protection and Rain repellent from Lowe's, then your top would stand up to the UV rays longer. If it can work on lawn furniture, it can work on your top that sits outside all day.
The outside mirror adjuster is right next to your shifter. Even if you have to manually adjust, you could just lower the window and adjust from inside. Am I missing some sort of sarcasm here? Nice to see a video of this car tho!
My car looks exactly like urs. Except mine is a 2003. I bought it used 3 years ago. It has custom rims that lowers it. The only problem with that is the rims are discontinued and 3 center caps are missing. My side mirrors work great but my top won't go down anymore. It just makes a sound when I push the switch. My driver's side seat has a split in it. My top would look great if the pigeons and seagulls would stop crapping on it everyday. My trunk and front fender area had began to fade when I purchased it. I purchased sand paper and a couple cans of color match spray and top coat. It looked good but after applying one coat of each but only last 4 months before fading back. I luv my car. I'm going to have to replace the radiator soon.n I got here looking for videos to show me how to change my brake light bulb. Ima try doing it myself. It has 141720 miles on it. It had 138579 when I bought it 3 1/2 years ago. My birthday gift to myself in Dec will be getting a paint job not over $1,000.
Sounds like a nice and long project for yourself!! I respect the grind and the fact that your not getting rid of your car!! I hope yours runs forever and I'd love to see a picture of it!
At 2:43 seconds your video shows the mirror controller just beneath your emergency break. It has the L and R plus four arrows in every direction. The switch in the center needs to be toggled to the left to set the left mirror, or push it right to set the right mirror. Use the arrows to make the mirrors go up, down, left and right. You currently have it set in the middle which is why it doesn't adjust the mirrors if you tried. I have this exact car. My mirror controller is now broken 18 years later, but I love my Spyder and will never get rid of her. I am now replacing the ragtop for the first time and getting this darn mirror controller fixed.
3:25 actually no you can’t unless you only go 18” rims, I put on 20” and I needed a 1 “ spacer to clear an ill placed bar in the wheel well, but even then it hits the outside frame of the wheel well if you have a passenger in the back. The front scraped on the inside of the wheel well and I had to grind off a metal that it was hitting (hope it’s not important)
doublefat fat its next to the shifter on the eclipse spyders for mirror adjust the L/R thing next to the parking brake. The little switch in between the L/R move to either side L to control left mirror R to control right mirror. Hit me on IG @president5nixon.
Jennifer lynn Uh, I wouldn’t say fast. You got the slowest version of the eclipse. The convertible makes the car heavier and slower, and the gs has the 4 cylinder instead of the 6 cylinder in the GT.
@@haydenhartley1852 It was a good first car. If you're looking to modify it, don't do it, there isn't any aftermarket support for this car. but for a stock daily driver with the power of a miata, it was pretty reliable for the time that I had it.
I just bought this car yesterday and trust me I rather have the “ugly” looking oem height than lowering it , I live in GA and if you’re from GA you know how bad the roads are , my frame under the car started to look more white bc of the scrapes 😢
I still own a Mitsubishi eclipse 2003 gt . Its parked because it over heats. I see alot of comments with still low mileage eclipse good enjoy them cause this car has a bunch of issues and it honestly has nothing to do with how bad or good your treat it. You can go look at other RU-vid channels about how to fix then or the issues that arise . I had all the issue and fixed then myself. First you'll have misfires due to spark plugs and if you have a v6 prepaid to pay a mechanic 500 just to change the back three spark plugs. If you have shaking and the eclipse shutting of check the MAF. Then you have over heating which I've seen everyone complain about them. If your head gasket blew 1000 plus cause you have to take the engine apart.
@@b8dub163 whats the mileage? You can prolong its life but make sure you do the thermostat and water pump on time and the timing belt cause these engine go kaboom if the belt snap while you are driving cause its an interfere engine. Mines was over heating cause the fans would turn on to late and turn of to fast. It turn out to be the dam temperature sensor. But I haven't worked on it cause I have a camry 2019 and just purchased a supra.
How much did you pay for it. And did you get it from a dealership and if so what are the monthly car payments looken like I want to get this kind of car for my first car and I’m looken for one in perfect shape and in black or close to that color .
I'll tell you the only thing wrong with your car is....the owner!! The owner not investing no money into his Spyder! You need cold air intake, or if you want add a turbo. You could do some mods to the body kit. For sure for sure the paint job!! I got the candy cobalt blue for my whip! The Lambo doors for this ride is just amazing! Man bruh invest in the whip and you will want to get buried w it by your side. Hahaa but you got a great machine very very dependable!
I also have a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse spyder gs with only 116k miles. But lately, it’s been giving me problems. After work i took off with my car and the mf died in some random neighborhood. Realized that the battery died and then the alternator fucked up as well. After spending $190 to fix it and get it towed.... a friend and I drove to Casey’s to get gas, and the mf starter wasn’t working so after I fixed that.....2 days later my speedometer and gauges aren’t working properly and now it feels so slow 🤦🏾♂️ I usually drive around 40 mph and it feels so nice, but now it feels like I’m driving 25 mph and the gauges are fucked it can’t go past 3rd gear and 45mp 😒
People I know that had Talons and eclipse had belt slipped and screwed the valves up. I had 94 Eagle Talon DL 1.8. I had timing belt replaced at 100,000. Only had to replace the alternator. Ran it for 9 years. Cleaned the intake often also
@@b8dub163 I never own a eclipse in my entire life had many different builds my point is this I built alot of cars from ground up and this eclipse spyder I got is hella fun and my power steering is broken lol and it's still driving like a beast 🤣💯
Yo I actually have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder gt v6 3.0L and I have motorized mirrors which is weird but mine is convertible and I had problems with my top leaking so I flex sealed it with the flex seal spray cans. It made it look like leather and made it waterproof again. I masked it off with plastic so I didn’t have to take the top off. If you use that it would be much better then spray paint and it would re-waterproof your top because after your car being in the sun for years the waterproof protective layer inside your top wears out, starting to absorb water which makes it leak into the car.
As an 03 Eclipse Spyder GTS owner. I can tell you those aren't real leather seats bud. Lol. And the mirrors ARE electric... Do yours just not work and I missed the sarcasm..?
@@b8dub163 well they're not leather. It's like a vinyl material with leather inserts on the front seats only. Meaning the middle part of the seat on the bottom and on the back. The side bolsters are still wrapped in the vinyl crap tho for the fronts. The whole back seat tho is the vinyl material. Just look it up. Lol.
