Ordered my BE (my first vb) just last week 'cause I couldn't resist having Examon and Belphemon rage. Plus Apollomon, Dianamon and one other mega on the dragon dim. Also because I got my hopes up when I saw an image online that made me think a future firmware update is going to implement English digimon name option for Japanese dims. Watched your older review of the BE and the how to update firmware video. Thanks for making this follow up review. Now subbed.

My -VV- has a top button that doesn't make a click sound, but so far has still been working. It's been this way since I got it, as far as I can remember, but the bottom one clicks audibly. Hopefully there's a fix figured out at some point, even if it takes opening it up and getting into the nitty gritty repair details.

This was my first Vital Bracelet. I've had it about a month, and I'm pretty disappointed. I don't even think my battery lasts a day and half. I'll charge it for a couple hours, and within like 8 hours, it's down to one bar, and that's without exercising or using it at all. I got a few DIM cards to go with it, since I heard they work with the BE. They do work, but as far as I can tell, the exercises only increase PP (I can't figure out what that stands for, no matter how much I google), and I lose every battle. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. I want to love it. Great video though! I'm still trying to figure it out, and your videos have helped a lot 🙏

PP is just the BE version of trophies from the original release. Dim cards have every exercise increase PP since they don't increase stats like the BE memories.

@@LostinTranslationmon Yeah, I never had the original release, but I know about trophies from watching videos. I just wanna know what PP is an acronym for. It's bugging me 😂 I'm just going to have to buy a BE memory. I feel like I'm not getting the full experience with the DIM cards. I also haven't figured the app out fully, so that could be it too. Thanks for the response!

oh man. I've been waiting for a video about this.. I fell off using the one I ordered bundled with Kamen Rider Kuuga a while back so when I looked into coming back to it, I found out that the [old] apps are closed and my cards are all technically obsolete. really cool. important edit: old apps, not all apps, bad phrasing on my part

Yup exactly all my problems, but I was coping so hard that we got a new vpet. Sometimes my band would come off too. I’m left handed so I wear it on my right and when I shift gears on my car it would detach sometimes. It is so dumb the original software doesn’t display the date and time at all times. I wanted this to replace my watch. I haven’t try the CFW yet, but there is an official update soon so will wait.

My main issues about BE (VV) is the battery drains too fast, mine last about a day and take about an hour or two to charge up to full bars. I actually don't like devices like these to not show the percentage number cuz when you charge too much and drain too low it hurts the longevity of the battery and there's no way tell how much we should let it drain or charge. Another one is the 99 hours limit of stats training on top of evolution timer like they want players to train as much as possible instead of having stable routine each day, I think previous VB trophies system did this better, good thing they seems to take note and next firmware update going to have training time and amount gain increase items. Also I'm sure most players won't have this problem but dang playing it without the app or any NFC device is limiting af, only have to get battles from Adventure mission and no way to transfer Digimons to raise new one more than 3-4 the BE can store by itself.

My BE A button is stuck, think of it like it's on a constant "Hold" position. I've tried using Isopropyl Alcohol to get into the button itself, but it still didn't work so I guess it's definitely broken. I've only had it for like 2 months 😢

just got my BE but my laptop's SD drive thing seems to have died, aaaand I've been meaning to replace my laptop for months now.. should probably get on that.. might use my Vital Hero instead til then because I don't want to have to worry too much about the 100 hours. when I get my new laptop I'll update my BE and switch to that

Y'know it's odd. I guess it's a YMMV in this case because I charge my vital hero every 3 days and have been using it religiously since launch with no problems at all.

I remember reading/hearing somewhere that they removed the option to Jogress based on Attribute, did they actually or am I misremembering?

Yeah it's gone, even using old DiMs in the BE you can't jogress like that. Offical set ones like Susanoomon and Ragnalordmon still work

OMG, the battery is horrible. The software is focused on grinding more than ever, yet the battery can’t keep up with this new concept. Also, being able to do literally nothing with all of my cool new mons sucks. The app is bad, I can’t even get into fights, I don’t like competitive content that could negatively affect my profile anyway, and the “single player content” I thought was coming is really just an auto-mission thing for items in said useless app. What a shame.

I bought the vital hero about a month ago (My first braclet) and im happy and love it even wearing and using it every day. I really have no incentive to buy the BE just yet. Vost is too high, especially with shipping. Ill just wait till ethier an english release (if it ever even happens as we barely got the Hero) or till all is fixed. Sucks with the lack of sepcial missions but i rather wiat till its affordable and effective.

Totally agree with this. Would be nice to have all the new quality of life aspects but seriously the English version of these vital bracelets (Vital Hero, also my first ever bracelet) haven't even reached a full year yet. I am hoping in the next year or two an English release of the BE happens with a more stable and functional app, I would be more intrigued to buy one then. For now my Vital Hero is enough, I still have plenty of dims to go through and hoping for more English releases of some the previous Japanese dims. Probably won't be anymore NEW dims in production since Bandai is focusing more on the BE bracelet and BE memories.

the app seems not available in my region of the EU sad.(say the store page) (or my phone is to old?) Probably some way to get it to function. But to much of a hassle.

You can just look for an apk on the web, pretty easy to find, don't know if the servers will work there tho

battery for one and a half day? maybe i'm being too hardcore with my new VBBE, but training all the stats and battling continuously for evolution requirements (I have the custom firmware), the battery perfectly longs less than a day.

If I train a lot it lasts less than a day and a half but at least 24 hours.

My bottom button broke 😢. So it registers input randomly cancelling evolutions. This makes the watch unusable. I am so scared the new one will break down in 6 months again 😢.

I've been using it pretty much to train, for a week now since I got it, the concept its so good, but the app really needs much more passion, more functions, for me to play with the digimon I hardly trained its stats. It's sad how basic it is, just simple battles and even the battles are so simple, really a more interactive gameplay is all I wish for the vital bracelet be/arena future

Kinda wanted to get a BE after getting a Vital Hero on clearance at Wally World but honestly, the Vital Hero seems kinda trash tbh. Seems like you're better off shaking it than actually doing an exercise as the sensor in it is very cheap. Also question if these things actually level up in anyway. Sunflowmon getting absolutely smashed by Palmon on lvl 1 Adventure Missions. After a week honestly just seems like a gimmick and waste of money. The Vpets are much better specially considering the price point. Was gonna get a BE but I can't imagine its any better and considering the app has gone way down hill, doesn't seem to hopeful really. Idk maybe there is something I'm not getting with training it.

Yeah I absolutely recommend the BE over the VH, especially with the fact that you can no longer get special missions. I loved the VB/V/VH when they released and had a great time with them, but the BE is a huge improvement.

Yeah that's just all the old dim cards, even on the new BE, that happens with the old dim cards.

100%. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't know since I'm assuming QA didn't include a few months of constant wear and they didn't hear about people having the problem with the V. But yeah it's rough on the consumer. Toys should last longer than a few months.
