QT's 8th film, if you use his math, The Hateful Eight still has plenty of sins.
Thursday: Sins of something not remotely as unwholesome as this.
Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

yes and its directly borrowed from boettichers tall t where bandits hi jack a station and dump the previous people in the well.from the story by elmore leonard of whom tarantino is a fan!also the movie is a tribute to the era of tv westerns which all ran this kind of story.kurt russel acted in them and sams name charles warren is alluding to charles marquise warren who wrote most of the scripts! there is a have gun will travel with people marooned in a stage stop one out to kill paladin which is v similar the villain is in a coffin!
@Bluemgwes
@Bluemgwes 4 года назад
That's a very good point, but like Lord Voldemort said, the water was already in the haberdashery since the time from them dumping the dead bodies and going back inside to prepare for Warren, Ruth, Mannix, and Domergue was very limited, I doubt they'd have the time or the inkling to do so. The coffee was probably just old.

Plus Russell used the well water to make the new Bach of coffee so the new batch would have been tainted the same way
@blakeharris58

In a snowstorm especially, you would think they wouldn't taint the water with dead bodies. Dump them in the snow or put them in the barn, the well is a place people would frequent often enough to see blood at least.
@salvadordollyparton666
@salvadordollyparton666 4 года назад
Are y'all really all that damn dumb? There's an entirely separate water barrel inside, that came from the well, likely well before there were any bodies in it. Unless they happened to run out, at that moment. Which in winter is pretty unlikely. And he said the coffee tasted like Mexican feet, not the water it was made from.

There are actually several completely different accents in England. They are as different as say, any American and Australian accent . Roth here opts for the only 2 that are familiar to Americans, standard upper class posh one and cockney (London). Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester accents sound completely different to these but they are pretty much never heard outside the UK, probably because audiences might complain they can't understand them.

3:47 As someone who does unnecessary research on medieval hangman’s and a bit more modern executioners for a living I think I might be able to help out (although it’s a few years too late now)! At least if the judicial system of 19th century America is comparable with the European one. The executioner was actually paid by the executions he committed. The more executions the more money for the hangman. There where certain death-sentences more profitable than others and they where sentenced over the punished one depending on their crime. The _breaking on the wheel_ (a penalty where you get chained to a wooden carriage wheel and get your extremities smashed with a metal bat one by one before you are left, hanging there and waiting for your death) was the most profitable one for the hangman. The burning on the stake was also quite money-making and the classic _hanging till death_ was actually the least lucrative death sentence for the executioner. If there were just a few death-sentences the hangman was either responsible for more than one city or he had to find another source of income, for example basic medical help, flaying or keeping the canals clean. Over all the alternatives for a professional hangman weren’t that great. So I get that Pete/Oswaldo is quite happy that his income is a bit saver thanks to John. (English isn’t my first language, so I’m terribly sorry for every mistake here. Greetings from Austria!)

My dad and I talked about the "Minnie don't like Mexicans" / Minnie's-indiscriminate-hospitality discrepancy, and my dad suggested that the former bit was a lie, just to gauge Señor Bob's reaction. If he had actually known Minnie, he could easily dispute that; but his eyes widened instead, meaning that he bought the lie and thus did *not* know Minnie. Also, this is called a haberdashery (men's clothing store), but instead, it's a restaurant. How did this not get sinned?

When Marco/Bob first steps out of the Haberdashery to greet the characters, it is later seen that Grouch and Pete were hammering the door when he left in the flashback.

The population of Wyoming in 1870 was around 9,100...that's really small. I don't know how surprised I would be over someone knowing another person with a population that small.
@frcdstcr
@frcdstcr 8 лет назад
I'd be surprised if someone actually ran across another person they knew there. While the population count is small, Wyoming itself is kinda big. People spread out.

I could live in a town with a few thousand and only know people within my immediate vicinity, 9k is no thing to sneeze at, not to mention information was spread much slower then. Hell, my neighborhood has to be under a thousand, and I don't see people I know occasionally, hell I've never seen nor ran into the one person I know well.

He's talking about Wyoming...the whole state of Wyoming. In all likeliness, a town would have like 10-100 people in it. So popular people meeting and knowing about other popular people is extremely likely with such a small popular in one state.

Quentin Tarantino has committed exactly five and a half sins. And they are: "Kill Bill," "Django Unchained," "Inglorious Basterds," "Grindhouse: Deathproof," "The Hateful Eight," and half of "Jackie Brown."

In The Hateful Eight you say that it was a sin because mini didn't give bob a mean look even though she is suppose to not like Mexicans. Major Mark West was lying about Mini hating Mexicans to see if Bob would correct him, which he didn't so he knew bob was lying.
@gartr22
@gartr22 6 лет назад
Yeah but Bob could have corrected him because Minnie didn't gave him a bad look.
@rossramsay4718

If Mini didn't like Mexicans, that doesn't mean she would be openly prejudice to bob. Either way major mark west saying that would have made bob unsure of himself which is why he got shot.

-Dude make up your mind whether you think Minnie disliked or liked mexicans, just don't change it to the convenience of this dumb movie. "Either way major mark west saying that would have made bob unsure of himself which is why he got shot." -It wouldn't at all, by mentioning the sign he is implying she highly disliked mexicans, since she didn't did anything to Bob, he would had surely know that wasn't true.

The guy who made this video does not have the brain power to understand the subtilities of a Tarantino movie. Most of those "sins" is just him being too stupid to understand what is going on.
