Yeah but had he seen the show he would know the bounty Mando was after didn't run away when Mando came into the bar because he was already being attacked and couldn't run so he wouldn't have to ask why he didn't run and when your being a critic about something you haven't even taken the time to watch fully that really makes anything you have to say about the original work seem a bit hollow

And in case anyone was wondering, regarding how "the last 4 digits" of a chain code works, it's Geography, baby, and I'm an actual gawdammed Geography Scientist. When identifying a location on Earth, you find first it's Longitude and Latitude, and then break that down into a grid surrounding "that point." You then identify which square mile/kilometer you're looking at by how many "north" and "west" units that plot falls in the grid from the southeast corner. Or east/south or any combination, really, as long as you use a horizontal and vertical descriptor with reference point. Then you break it down even further into country-specific subdivisions. Here in America, it's then broken down to Township and Range. And even smaller grid network within the previous plot, but sometimes even more erratic due to uneven township and range size decisions. But then you begin to identify the macro portions. City name. County name. State/Province name. Country name. And, for an intergalactic universe, then the Continent and then the Planet and then the System. Good thing he somehow had active tracking and it beeped when he got closer.

I would just like to mention that the Empire doesn't put shields on the basic ties because they know that most pilots are terrible and so they don't want to waste the extra money. However Moff Gideon did not have a basic tie fighter so the sin remains.

It wasn’t about them being bad pilots. It was about them not being worth it because their tactics were just to overwhelm the enemy with numbers. There’s no point in a shield if you have twenty ships shooting at the one you’re fighting.

It was more to prevent defection by not giving them a hyperdrive to run with or adequate defenses to escape under conventional propulsion.

TIEs have no shields to "minimise power drain and maximise maneuverability" according to the Ultimate Star Wars guide. It also made them cheap and easy to produce on a mass scale. Gideons TIE was clearly custom so could possible have an emitter, but then they've never been fully detailed on how ship shields in Star Wars work. I mean if they work like in Trek, then it would still be possible to sustain physical damage even when they're on

the most commonly cited explanation is the empire had no shortage of pilots so could just pump out as many tie fighters as possible without the need for shields whereas the rebels couldn't afford to lose pilots

the reason tie fighters don't have shields and rebel X-wings did is that the empire had no shortage of pilots so felt no need to protect them whilst the rebels needed to conserve manpower

59:05 Jedi were still very rare, since most of them stayed at Coruscant, even during the Clone Wars, or at most, the centre rim. Most Mandalorians stayed in the Outer Rim, where the Jedi never went, with very little exceptions.

Just outsmarted and defeated by Jawas? Are there indicators out there that Jawas dont know their shit? They seem to basically be the apex predators of Tatooine. Unlike every other group they happily advertise where they are and what they are doing, take from everyone and give nothing back. They are little badasses, they are the Fremen of Tatooine. The Mandalorian was alone without support against an entire castle of them and took down a dozen or so, I was surprised he even did that well

Believe it or not, TIE fighters actually *do lack shields.* The reasoning for this is because it's cheaper that way, and clones were seen as highly disposable. So, still a sin, just one on the greater Empire itself.

I dunno, if your mind is trained, and you're covered in enough armor, a cape can help you know the wind. This helps with knowing what you're smelling (and from which direction), the weather, flow of fire, aiming while sniping, and where it's coming from. I mean you can do the same with hair, but the idea (I think) is that the armor prevents the wind from affecting their bodies and makes them less sensitive to all sorts of battle information. It's not for protection, it's for offense. Edit: I also liked the video but I am fearful of changing it from 690 likes. just seems nice that an O would follow 69

I purposefully didn't look up what the actor playing the Mandalorian looked like in hopes of eventually seeing his face. Luckily (or unluckily more like) I hadn't seen any of his other work prior so I truly was going blind.... I will say I was completely taken aback when we did see his face for the first time. Firstly because I had never imagined a freaking mustache!!!! I figured he'd be clean shaven to fit with the smooth industrial look of the armor. I doubt I would have been too shocked by a beard but a mustache took me completely out of it and I actually audibly said, "Ugh!" At my screen. And then it was a very unflattering angle that completely did Pedro's perfectly attractive face a complete disservice.

I hate what they did with The Stormtroopers in the Mandalorian because they are not threat at all for the protagonist . And 100 sins to your video because you act like we never seen stormtroopers act professionals no incompetent stormtroopers were always in Star Wars they weren't watch the movies again in all the movies the either get ordered to miss Luke and crew on the first DS because they wanted to track them to Yavin 4 , in ESB they take over an rebel base and basically fuck over the hero's and in ROTJ they at first slaughtered the ewoks before losing to Guerilla tactics some as GIs did in nam ( also at 1:00:56 they weren't the empires weapon of choice that were the regular imperial army meanwhile the stormtroopers are an own branch
