The answers and corrections 0:02 The creator did that so people can get a good look at Hawaii 0:05 The creator made it like that because there would be half of alaska if alaska wasnt close to the USA 1:08 Its an error 1:49 The creator tried. 1:59 He literally said Montana 2:08 The creator tried 2:12 She said CAPITOL 2:13 The creator didn't know 2:31 You cant blame them, State/Country shapes are pretty easy to forget. 3:00 Its the capital island 3:37 Not every rhyme has to be correct
they don't mean it like its a literal sin, thats jsut how sins videos work. but if you mean its not a big deal, it is considering its supposed to be educational
@@DavidAnimate21I think in... I think it's Jeopardy, when Awnsering something you have to Awnser it starting with "What is" which makes it in the form of a question If you don't do this, even if you correctly Awnser it's still wrong because it's not in the form of a question. Wakko didn't say "What is" at the start (which I think he started his Awnser upon singing) so he got it wrong despite actually listing every state and Capital (including DC)
3:37 Quoting from "Everything Wrong With Everything Wrong With Yakko's Nations of the World" by Bizarre Bits: "technically you *can* rhyme words with the same ending sound. Those are called perfect rhymes"
Yeah, this guy tried to make a video in the likeness of CinemaSins, choose a piece of media about 5 years after its spike (I'm referring to the random Animaniacs song boom of '17-'18), and somehow butchered basic facts about Alaska and Hawai'i despite harshly criticising inaccuracies.
As a geography nerd, i can name a few: - 1:46 Columbus in ohio is way too far south, thats the location of Atleast Dayton - 2:08 unless you meant this in the coast, Massachusetts is missing its southern lands - 2:14 Tennessee is way too short, plus its on the wrong place. For example, in 2:14 Tennessee is right above texas and oklahoma, but at 2:15 tennessee magically moved to its correct spot + shaped correctly - 2:21 Trenton is Northwest of Jefferson City, Missouri - 2:22 The show called it 'Jefferson', Missouri - 2:22 Jefferson city, Missouri is east of its real location. The location it was placed in is comparable to Hermann, Missouri - 2:28 Augusta, Maine, is east of its real location. Augusta is to the west of where the star was placed. The location they put it is also comparable to Bangor, Maine - 2:28 Main is also shaped wrong in the southwest corner - 3:04 Springfield, Illinois is south of its real location. The location they put it on is comparable to Alton, Illinois - 3:09 Washington D.C. disappeared - 3:09 Annapolis is southwest of where they put it. The location they put is comparable to Charlestown, Maryland - 3:23 Bismarck, North Dakota is northwest of the where the star is. The location of the star is comparable to Ellendale, North Dakota
Missed Sin: Tennessee was at the wrong spot when it was revealed at 2:14, but then it was moved to its correct spot when the camera jumped to the scene afterward.
I'm a locator genius and I can tell that the animators literally placed some of their stars in the wrong spots. They placed Ohio's star on Dayton instead of Columbus at the start but was later corrected. They also placed Texas's star on College Station instead of Austin, North Dakota's star on Jamestown instead of Bismarck, and even Arkansas's star was sticked right at Camden. Louisiana's star is probably placed way more northeast of Baton Rouge. Missouri's star was first placed right at Hermann instead of Jefferson City, but Missouri's star was later placed at where Columbia later was when he touched Mississippi and Illinois. Illinois's star was probably marked at Litchfield instead of Springfield, and Iowa's star was probably marked near Cedar Rapids instead of Des Moines since it was located right at the center of the state. I recalled Washington's star was placed on Tacoma instead of Seattle, and Wisconsin's star is right where Janesville is, but I should count it being in the Madison media market. Same to Maryland but it's star probably hit Baltimore instead of Annapolis. Georgia's star was also close enough to Atlanta so I'll give it a plus. According to my research, Georgia's star was probably right at where McDonough is.
3:33 that’s also another mistake he said “Oklahoma and its city” he didn’t specifically say the capital of Oklahoma, which is Oklahoma City if you were wondering
1st of they had to shrink the main land to include alaska and hawaii. plus hawaii is small and nobody might see it so thay made it big so people would notice it.
2:15 Tennessee is pretty close to Texas and Alabama under Tennessee is gone in the same moment. So Tennessee is just floating there way off where it is supposed to be
2:17 Elvis rarely stayed near Nashville, unless on tour, he usually spent time with family at Graceland or visiting his mother, and later her grave, in Arkansas, not that he didn’t travel outside of that time, but if he did, we don’t have many records of such
0:09 alaska wouldn’t fit so they put it more south so kids could see it also hawaii is that big because Hawaii is quite small and kids won’t see it if it was real distancing so yeah they did that
The capital of Missouri is Jefferson City, not just Jefferson. No quiz show would ever accept "Oklahoma and its city" as shorthand for "Oklahoma and Oklahoma City." The "g" in "Wyoming" is not silent. There's nothing wrong with rhyming a word with itself.
@@SacriStyle No it's not! You need the "City" part to complete the full, official name. It's not like "New York" where the "City" part is only unofficially added to differentiate it from the name of the state it's in.
