Let's talk about #Yell. They're also known as #hibu. They seem to have annoyed the entire small business community because of greedy telephone salespeople aggressively mis-selling products/services.
If you're setting up a new business, watch out - they're always on the prowl. Once they catch your scent, they'll be humping your leg asking for money in exchange for useless online ads and crap cookie cutter template websites.
For me it started in 2012 and ended around 2017. Never gave them much money and spent just a little. What they proposed sounded like bullshit so I kept these clowns at arm's length.
If you've had run-ins with them, nothing said in this video will be a surprise...
...but it's still worth watching just to be aware of some of the problems you might have overlooked.
When Yell build your website, they own it, legally. It's all in their name - not yours. They rent the website to you, when really, you want anything like that to belong to YOU.
