I love this show but it’s weird season two didn’t answer any of seasons ones questions, it just leaves you with more questions. I get worried when they do that the show might get canceled before answering these questions.

What questions?
@sayakchoudhury9711
@sayakchoudhury9711 2 года назад
I think the point of the show is not to make real 'scientific sense' of the space time anomalies Nadia keeps getting stuck. The show is about excavating deeper emotional traumas and exploring them.

They already talked about those questions. They aren’t supposed to be answered. The show is about living with those questions and being able to keep going even if you still have them. Season one is about surviving, season two is about living.

How?! It was the epitome of poor writing. What was the point of exploring Alan's grandmother's timeline at all if they're giving it so little screen time? What was the whole gold train nonsense about? That whole arc was far-fetched. I like her mother's mental illness angle (that she caused it by repeatedly traveling back into her) and that could have been explored rather than an entire episode stumbling around in Budapest. That would have made a lot more sense too after the theme of her guilt over her mother's suicide in season 1.
@angeladida2874
@angeladida2874 Год назад
@@MadPotty01 Nadia didn’t cause the mental illness, she experienced what her mom used to experience and that made her understand her mothers version, why her mother treated her the way she did, gave her peace about it. Also everything she did in the past was supposed to show her that no matter what she did she would always live the same life, she would always end up in the same place. The whole travelling was supposed to make her understand that she shouldn’t fight her past but make peace with it and she returns ready to live her life at her fullest. Also the whole show is mostly about Nadia, but when it comes to Alan, he finally got to understand his family’s past and got to make peace with that, but also he finally realised with the help of his grandma that he shouldn’t dwell on what if but he should live his life also at it’s fullest instead of always worrying what if it is the wrong choice. So the whole time traveling helped them make peace with where they “come from” and who they are. It developed their character and bettered their life. The whole show is about healing and accepting

Season 2 had potential but it made too many plot lines that never got resolved and it got ridiculous idk if she lost her mind at the end or what it just kept making less and less sense. Season one had a simple plot that was interesting and people could understand what was going on but season 2 was just all over the place and none of it went anywhere. Just cause you have a bunch of shit going on doesn’t mean it’s well written :(

What I don't understand is in what universe does season 2 happens. At the end of season 1 we see there's 2 universe's, one where Nadia knows Adam and he doesn't know her and vice versa. Wich one of those two does season 2 take place in?
@urozzom
@urozzom 2 года назад
in the finale of season one, you actually see those two versions merge in one version. look closely at the scene where the screen merges, you will see three nadias, the one who knows alan, the one who doesn't, and the "merged" nadia

This happens in a universe where both Alan and Nadia both know each other and what happened previously.

0:43 "Ballsy move dude" wasn't a reference to the guy smoking. She was referring to him reading Vogue magazine.

Not so much a reference as something that cracked us up. The scene where they are trying to get 3 cats to jump on the counter, one after another, which appeared to be a total pain (herding cats?) and when the third cat finally does get up there you can see the hands of a cat wrangler who was hiding under the counter, tossing the cats up there. I love cats, but my sympathies for those trying to get a scripted behavior out of them for a show! 😂

As a Cat Lover I felt their pain because cats have a mind of their own and it's next to impossible to get them to do something that they didn't think of first~!! Good job getting the shot done~!!
