The closing music of the season was a truly inspired choice. “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” is specifically about losing a loved one to schizophrenia, and the correlations don’t stop there. When Syd Barrett’s mental state got bad enough, Roger Waters quickly had to step up as the bandleader of Pink Floyd, and Barrett’s good friend David Gilmour took on his role as guitarist and singer. He was as reliable as Ruth, and Waters was about as easy to deal with as Nadia. I’d love to know how much of this was part of their choice.
Interesting stuff. I wouldn't doubt its intentional inclusion because of the lyrics. There were a few other times where I picked up on a correlation between scenes events and the musical choice.
Came to your channel because of Severence and stayed because of your other videos. Surprised you have so few subs but you definitely earned another one today. Keep it up can't wait to hear more from you!
Hey, thanks! I have had this channel for about a year now, but I only recently started to upload more frequently. I'm just glad to know people like my work, so the support is definitely appreciated :)
I really enjoyed your narration and I haven't seen either of the series but I love Natasha Leonne and hope to see them soon. You give me a chance to see these clips and understand them because of your great storytelling~!! I'm glad to subscribe so I can see all your reviews and thanks for all your work to give these to all of us~!
I have to echo the other comments- I love your character analysis, and in every video makes me gasp at least once with connections I wish I had made myself. Excellent work!!
Love your videos. You deserve a ton of RU-vid success! Absolutely want to comment to boost you in al gorithm but also want to comment to tell you that your content is genuinely enjoyable and educational and I hope you can keep making awesome stuff any time you feel the desire to :)
Hey, Rendall! I hear you! I wanted more of what we got in season one, but with lessons learned and new areas of progress for Nadia to be forcibly dragged though. I'm not sure why they switched up the formula like that, but I ended up being ok with about halfway through. Maybe they will take note of the general reaction of the audience and steer things back to being more like S1 next time around.
To me season 2 is almost like a different unrelated show. Occasionally crossing slightly in and out of the original story. Its as if this is season 5 and seasons 2,3 and 4 actually never aired but exist in the arc anyway.
