Please plan an online course in these tough times. I don't know when I will be able to visit Aananda physically. But I am very keen to have PDC. I am purchasing a land for permaculture.
This was a very informative Q& A session. Thank you so much. I am a farmer and eventhough I have not done a PDC but an intro to PDC. I have followed videos from Anandaa and other permies which has helped me along. We have worked on the soil and its biology for 4 years and it's transforming into a nice food and timber forest.
I've been deeply inspired by your videos and your passion. It would be very helpful if you could also post something regarding the financial aspects of the farm. Especially with regards to the manpower requirements and other regular maintenance you do on your farm. Is permaculture a viable option for a nuclear middle class family? Provided if they own a land. A video of financial requirements and your experience on it would be great.
Mr Chatterjee.. I don't know what is your current financial situation. However I know one thing very clear.. If you want to do it then do it with all your passion. Fir to kehte hain na.. agar aap poori shiddat se kuch chahe to puri kayanat aap ko usse milane me lag jati hai.. these are very true lines. You may try it..
Gudevenin ma'am. Nice to hear from you such simple n natural way. I wanted to suggest you something....since your property is big, I would suggest kindly get two BHUTIA dogs. They are real guarding creatures n at the same time very vigilant n affectionate. Again "its a suggestion." To b true, I really envy your life, always surrounded by plants and trees...some day will soon start one with your guidance. Lots of love n affection to your family.

Can you also do a video around purchasing land in India, from what I understand purchasing land in rural India can be quite tricky. How do we identify a genuine seller ?
land purchaing is easy dear, u select area in which u want to buy a land, recently i puchase land in rajasthan and doing orchard but not in this method , but all organic
Please share some details about how to choose land. What are things to consider, like location, soil, size, etc.. Also provided we buy a land outside of where we live, how do we secure it?

Hello, I had a question...I read in one of your comments that you have done some earthworks on your lands to avoid chemical fertilizer seepage from adjoining farms...I request you to please elaborate on the methods used. Thank you. Ardently follow and admire your work...hope to meet you when I come to meet farmers up north ...currently am on a solo road trip visiting farmers / foresters in the southern states of our country 😊

@@yahyadanish9606 currently we are irrigating through hosepipes only. But now that we have permanent beds in place, we are exploring drip irrigation or sprinkler system.
Very rarely. Since we have kept a wildlife zone and not encroached into their habitat, they mind their business and we mind ours! We know that there are a lot of snakes at our farm, but we do not encounter them

Regardless of the trees periphery from what your farm is really protected by ? Like is there a fencing ? And I was wandering what your farm entrance looks like it's very beautiful from inside but how it's entrance is made ? Like where you enter through the farm the front face

You can do it! Permaculture can be implemented in many forms in any space available. Since we have implemented mostly on a farmland of a relatively bigger size, we might not be able to give you the best tips for a balcony - but there is enough literature and videos out there!! Get to watching and reading up, you will be able to learn a lot!

1. Of course you can practice permaculture in a scarce rainfall area, in fact permaculture originated in Tasmania, Australia which is a drought prone area. 2. the benefit of wildlife zone is to provide a little space for wildlife animals to inhabit, this reduces the conflict between wildlife and humans. Hello mam I m a software engineer based in Bangalore and currently planning to buy a small land in raipur cg to build a farmhouse and grow vegetables and fruits. Based on my budget planning to buy around 22000 sqft like half acres land. Do you think 22k sqft land is enough to build small farm with fruits trees vegetables or should i increase budget a bit and get a bigger land?
