When you're talking about the camel rider vs lancer attack speed, you had to keep in mind that the attack speed and damage values displayed for lancers are for the charge attack only, once they start actually auto attacking in melee they have their sword which has different (the "real") stats.

Fun fact: For some reason, horses are afraid of both camels and elephants. This tactic was historically used in battles and was very effective on blunting cavalry charges. ;) Nice little detail AOE team added in the game.

Was Farm Placement discussed? I have issues with it. If i want to Max farms, the mill is Not connected

You can use houses to connect the mills together. If you have 2 mills with 8 farms around each mill, then you can place a single house on the edge of the farms to connect the mills.

Abbasids should do good vs french? I mean they got camels, spears with extra range right

If they spam only calvary this is true, platinum and above its not that simple

Also you'd need to defend properly against raids, which is often how French players get you. So if you're not walling/using your spears strategically, you'll still get stomped early on (since Abba has a bit of a slow start)
