I built one back in 2005 and to anyone contemplating building a Caterham I can't recommend it too highly - it is extremely satisfying and makes the car "yours" in a way buying a finished car never could. The backup from Caterham is first class with the few minor snags I had being sorted out very quickly and efficiently.
I built one back in 2003. I had wanted on for 30 years and finally took the plunge. Some dreams turn out to be disappointments but the Caterham is not one of those. It was everything I hoped it would be and then some.
I'll be on the prowl for one soon, a kit hopefully, maybe a 170 (road spec) but want a traditional "carburettor" engine - I do not want an ocean of plastic under the bonnet! :) Any advice welcome, thanks.
I am interested in this lotus 7 .... I am interested in the price of the kit (do it yourself) and the price of the finished product ... the cheapest option for city roads ... the car should have a steering wheel on the left side ... I am from Croatia .. ..please answer ....
