I just encountered my first derelict freighter and I liked the experience. Felt inspired by survival horror games.

How the hell do you get on i see no entry to the one ive found

great video, i stumbled across a derelict by chance and decided to check it out. It was super creepy and a s soon as i got the tutorial message telling me to expect hostile entities i noped tf out of there though

if You put the emergency broadcast receiver in Your personal refiner when You first land on the freighter & keep it in there until You leave, You'll be able to look for another one right after. 😄

I’m new in a different universe I’m just doing these daily to upgrade my freighter to the max it’s cool

Well, came across my first one and started looting but then one of the auto turrets killed me....damaged my weapon and ended up going through the whole freighter tip toeing through each part trying not to unleash the infestation haha it took way longer than it should have!

Hey Door! Hope you are well. Another great video, as always! I just have a couple of questions in regards to the Derelict Freighters, What is the maximum number of base building items you've found while looting a freighter? So far it seems like a maximum of 2 per run for myself. And for my second question, if I'm not concerned with earning nanites or reputation with the different races at the moment, can I technically speed run through a freighter, get my upgrade module and then leave to make upgrading my freighter as fast and efficient as possible? Thanks for the awesome video and also thank you for the system in which to farm S class freighter upgrade modules! You rock bro!

My scanning progress for the security is taking to long, is that supposed to happen?

Bro! You skipped how to even get on the freighter! Where!? WHERE!? The icon isnt helpful, the blown apart bits arent where i go, the main chunk has no doors or landing areas or anything wtf....and you...skipped it

Are you more likely to find S-grade upgrades for your freighter in 3-tier economic systems? Or is the quality of the upgrade for that system purely random? I've done a few of the derelict freighter runs (by purchasing the coordinates from the scrap dealer)....but I only seem to get C-grade upgrades.

You guys, No Man's Sky is not easy to find out how to do certain stuff. That's why I look for these kind of videos, for example to find out how to enter a derelict freighter, because game doesn't help. I can fly around derelict freighter for hours not finding the entrance. That's why I'm here, and you say, "oh, don't forget to check the box when you enter"???? HOW TO ENTER? HOW, HHHHOOOOWWWWW?

Love your videos however you cutscened on actually landing on ship, which is what I was looking for...grrr why lol

Idk why but when I found a derelict freighter by random chance it was destroyed and I couldn’t find a way to either land on the freighter or find away inside for the life of me. Is there some kind of secret passage or something that I am missing?

Sometimes I see a message that says “Land on the Derelict Freighter” but I don’t see any derelict freighter upon which to land.

I manage to get 3.5 million units near the beginning of the game, I spent 1.6 million on a emergency Broadcast receiver and I’m now hoping I will get a lot of money from this, Thank you so much for the guide!

I have randomly came across a few derelict freighters but there was no where to land and the freighter was broken up in to pieces.

I can't seem to find the security credentials, I checked all the logs, even opened every crate and still havent got them

Good. Had to watch twice. Have not done it yet. Nautilon mission requires it? Gonna proceed from there. Salvaged 3 starship already via Nautilon.. Seems the most efficient.

just my luck my first 2 derelict are all extreme, i have less than 30 sec to live under extreme cold every refill....

How about the derelict fighters which you randomly come up and can't land? What are they for I tried to land on one for 30 minutes and couldn't

Evertime I try to do these derelict freighters I just give up I can't find all the doors I just end up walking around in circles wasting time

I sincerely hope that the derelict freighters stay around when I open the game again. Closed down after saving in the space station and right outside there are like 8 just sitting there. Other playes must have gathered them theres somehow

This vid is from a year ago so I won’t probably get a response but when I go to sell to the scrap deal he just tells me that he looks for scrap but wont let me sell to him. Is it because I need to increase my standing with the species?

So in the video, you said if you find a good one dropping S-Class that you can do it again and again. I saw the address for the system where you found one dropping S-Class. You showed it in your "Fully upgrade your freighter" video. So once I complete the derelict freighter and leave to sell my items, how do I do it again? do I have to leave the system, come back and buy another emergency broadcast, or can I just go back to the freighter and it will be reset?

I’m having a hard time going back to my starship it’s still floating in the air I can’t get to it

I`m new, found this video do to I was only able to find 2 levels/zones mapped. Started thinking, maybe that`s it pr derelict freighter, and I just have to find more of them. Only got 57 tainted metal, and some random loot. I don`t even know what to ask you, I`m not even sure if it`s worth the hassle. Chlorin and scraping ships at space station seam to be most awarding. I even skip the nexus missions, it just seam to be a lot of advertising for nexus mission, and not much to gain. Sure some skins, I play with network off.

I have 2 people to sell the salvage to, one being the scrap dealer and the other being a guild envoy, just finnished my first derelict freighter and apparently they give different rewards for the stuff, who should i sell to?

I have combed through this freighter for over two and a half hours and it still won't check it off the objectives that I have explored the derelict freighter edit* also I have gone really far in this game and I have still not gotten to an anomaly

yea throw your detector in your personal refiner before you begin warp after pressing the button to start the signal... you wont lose it... it stays there then after you explore, pull it back out put it in your inventory you can use it again.
