Aside from it being on Mining Monday. I actually like the timing of this incursion. It's happening on a day with no BP or Flash pass event or really anything else that would encourage me to play. So I got my dailies done early and put up a shield. Now I'm free to enjoy the rest of my day and wait for arc fall.
The incursion event (it keeps flogging a dead horse), with the current new PvP officers that extremely spoils the fun of the game, is the same as root canal treatment without anesthesia at your dentist. Meanwhile, the treatment chair is under high voltage. This event is never going to be anything fun and enjoyable, not like this, that's for sure. It is now for two types of players, first who has the big bag of money to buy the latest PvP officers in the store. The second one who is madly in love with base raiding. If you don't belong to the two target groups, this event is a real misery that comes back every month like the worst toothache. There is nothing positive to say about the current state of the event. The best you can do with the mess is close the game and ignore the whole damn event
Incursions needs better events. We need a section of systems that servers can compete for like territory take overs where the server that holds the most territories wins the event. Plus rewards suck.
If they rolled it like territories where each contested territory was 30minutes or something similar then it would be a cluster but not a complete cluster...basically a weeks worth the TC but in a 24 hour period on both servers. At this point anything is better than "Go to system XXX where someone may or may not be"
As a lvl 39, why is it I can take out someone's Valdore, but get 0 points for it? Scopely should fix that so I can kill some above and below. Otherwise it makes it pointless to attack anyone higher than you.
Server 41 once again had unshielded folks from the beginning of the event and S44 was able to jump out to a huge lead from the start. It happens to us every single Incursions. It's a pattern that proves intention on the part of several players who want to hurt the server on purpose.
So another ship another loop another thing to mine and the ship that can’t punch up but I would assume can be used to terrorize people below its level. Are you actively trying to get people to quit?
The exos are cool but you can't even use them because grinding during incursion is basically impossible. Also 6:50 why does server 17 have 19,910 players with the others having like 2-3k?
the Talios still doesnt give points for the defense or invade sms. How hard can that be to implement that they havent fixed it and we have had 3 other incursions with it.
Well this by Far the worst incursion soon as it was live got kicked so many times it was impossible to play.. it's turning into the "normal" of game play you know your gonna have hard time stayin connected and I haven't even got into the glitches.. really hope you fix this game
I don't want to do PVP I never have so why try and force me to. Now I'm not able to participate in mining Monday because I don't feel like having to watch my ships
I actually enjoy most incursions, but this one I am being forced to sit out due to network issues. Like you, Rev, I especially enjoy meeting new people. Which is the main reason I enjoy Incursions. BTW, I definitely can't blame scopely on my issues because I'm playing on a 4G network instead of a 5G . Thanks for your effort and the information you impart to the community. Plunder is the best currency.
As a small free to play player, I hate incursions, Scopely has scaled it to those that spend $$$$$$$ and have the big accounts and ships to pull it off. Incursions are nothing more than a way for Scopely to bring in $$$$$$$$$$$$. It's just a business for Scopely they have no skin in the game for the small free to play players who don't spend $$$$$$$$$$$ on the game! Scopely gets a F for Incursions on my grading!
It's adorable you think there's value in incursions, only value I seem to find is much less screen time for a period of time. Yeah I'm not a PvP fan but continuing to run events that make the entire game "unplayable" tend to be a rather boring game with all my ships tucked behind a 1 day shield doing absolutely nothing. And as far as meeting new people for a day.........I like Star Trek more than I like the people but need them around so I have red pixels to shoot.
Sorry you don't enjoy it, but it's a bit demeaning to say it's "adorable". You do realize over 100K players enjoy incursions right? It's not like this is event 90% of the game hates.
@@RevDeuce well it's clearly not liked or accepted by 90% either. I guess what I'm trying to say is if this game was like this every day it probably wouldn't of gotten to 5 years. Yes I'm aware there is a fluctuation of servers that are more aggressive and those that barely have any PvP by comparison but how exactly is a game supposed to be fun or bare minimum playable for the average player when they have to hide behind a shield and do nothing?
Meh, dont care about the event, everyone shields and raiding is so crappy, I use to like raiding only scopely f-ed it up. It takes agesssss! Please bring raiding back scopely

This. Missions could be an important part of regular gameplay but instead they're just introductions to new officers, systems/hostiles, ships, and of course new currencies.
