Nintendo really needs to patch the camera for inside drift bikes. Given how your character is looking completely to the left or right, they could at least reflect that a little more accurately with those options.
The inside bikes would have been way better if they were outside drift. The yoshi bike or the comet bikes have perfect stats but it's limited because of inside drift
I think I would’ve preferred Mario kart Wii inside drift in Mario kart 8 deluxe, but that’s just the way it is. Also I realised the use of toads factory music at the end there, I am now subscribed. Opinion left and I’m the other left.
the magikoopa bike from MKWii was my ride-or-die homie. I had never heard of insider drift but i naturally gravitated to an insider drift bike in MK8 too! although I've been struggling a lot to make it work, and now i see why, this video has described all the issues i'm running into on my bike. I guess a Kart would be more practical, but what about the style points? none of the Karts are as cool as a good bike
Here's more you need to know about inside drift aside from this vid: 1: inwards lose significant time on around 40/48 tracks in 150cc 2: inwards make most 150cc glider strategies easier 3: inwards can't superbounce 4: DK gives better inward camera angles There's a bit more you need to cover about inward bikes but this is an ok vid ig
@@MarioCarter @MarioCarter The yoshi bike actually has the same stats and you have a better view of everything in front of you from my experience of playing inward drift so jas3 I recommend you use the yoshi bike, as it's basically a comet with a better view in front of you
The sports bike is my favourite bike in this game, it has good speed and acceleration and handling and very fast with boosts and drift boosts. I can use it amazingly well
I’m surprised your videos don’t have more views, some valuable info here. I enjoy inside drifting bikes but I also noticed the camera angle is frustrating.
Okay, so I understand that inside drift isn't his tight end the beginning, or maybe that it's tighter atOkay, so I understand that inside drift isn't his tight end the beginning, or maybe that it turns tire at the end. And you can't have to turn. What is inside or outside about these drifts? Like I don't even know what the word means
@@-_--vr8zz then i'll do it: A tier: yoshi bike, comet. C tier: sport bike, jet bike. C- tier: Master Cycle. (Pd: that's actually their rankings in official tier lists)
Actually, that's the tier list of 200cc. In 150cc, I don't know the tier list, but comet and yoshi bike have almost the same stats as the wiggler (just slightly less traction but more speed). Their kart equibalents are A tier but the bikes itself are S tier, and now the tier list: S tier: comet and yoshi bike B tier: sport and jet bike C tier: master cycle
bro this video helped me out i fuckin was playin with my friend and i usualy go with wario on the smallest bike because it looks funny but i was told i had to switch it up and i randomly picked one of these bikes and it fucked me all up.
Also grumble volcano isn't a non-inward friendly track if you don't focus on coin collection too much, and cheese land is already scary for outward lmao.
im not sure about outside drift bikes, but for the karts your best bet is to initiate the drift as early as possible, and hit the apex of the corner, then as you exit move to the outside or middle of the track. dont hug the inside all the time, only when turning
im an inside drift player too (yoshi bike) and i tried outside drift for the first time an hour ago, it's helped me on rainbow road and what happens with outside drift i think is that it takes a wider route for the first 2 seconds and then goes tight (comparing to inside drift)
ok im a lot more used to the outside drift now and i can say inward drift just completely turns for the left/right meanwhile outside drift goes in that direction bu doesn't turn/face in that direction i think, its really hard to explain
you’re talking about firehopping, not rapid fire hopping. rapid fire hop abuse is a TAS technique in mkwii that makes you hop every other frame so your vehicle’s direction doesn’t change as it turns.
After beating mkwii again on dolphin, i decided to try retry mk8 as well for some new content but after like 1 cup i just quit. Karts really aren't that fun compared to inside drift bikes and now bikes are just shittier karts, so whats the point.
just got mario kart 8 and was wondering if inside drift bikes were in the game at all because of how shi the game made them. i need to relearn mario kart just because of this minor, yet so impactful useless change
hello as a dedicated long time hyrbid drifter (you can tell its true because its in my name) who mains the comet (objectively best vehicle in the game) i would like to complain about this video for it spreads negative propaganda against how truly dominant the hybrid drifting bikes in MK8DX are compared to the pathetic (vomit emoji) outwards drifting vehicles, i expect your spoken excuses by 2pm, Cordially, -Neexy
