I painted the inside of a bag (thick cotton fabric) what do I seal the paint with? Can’t wash the bag in a washer cuz the color will stain. I had a ice cold water bottle in it and the paint stained my wallet and cardigan due to the moist from the water bottle. Thank you!
Ihave a question ,im painting a dinning table and it has a leaf , i sanded and sealed it with multi coat sealer a different brand then base coated with white picket fence ,then im doing a agate inspired look no 2 the same some overlap and some are joined by little rivers with some crystals so its a bit busy but has lots of colors midnight blue ,liberty blue but blue is the dominate color .When im done i want to put the right finish on it so it can be used maybe a clear satin finnish would work ,whitch is best to use?.
Hi,I need some tips on a top coat,i am doing a project in ash which would be the best top coat to use?? Its a high traffic cabinet in ash but i would like the finish in matte.I read that tough coat get cloudy on the dark color. 😀
Hey Annie! The tough coat will only go cloudy if you apply it too thick - and if you notice it getting cloudy you can paint another coat of Ash over top! We call this a "tough coat sandwich" and it gives you the protection without the cloudiness!
