Very comprehensively explained, exactly what I was looking for. But my concern is I’m a Civil engineering graduate and already on a graduate visa, which gives me the right to study as well, as I’m super keen in this trade even before the commencement of my graduation program in my home country, but since there was no such environment or practical workshops like here in Australia I decided to go for the engineering program. Now I’m physically in Australia and looking forward to opt this program, can you tell me what are the odds of securing an admission in a 2 year carpentary trade course being an engineer?

@@Pathwaytoaus I already live in Australia. I wanted to learn how to build a wood frame house and was told I will have to do an apprenticeship of four years. Really? I don’t want to make cabinets or chairs or anything of that kind . I just want to build a damn wood frame house. In America or England I can do a two or three week course but not in this country.I learned on the internet ( Larry Haun)how to build a wood frame house and will do that in another country when I retire.
