Personally, I feel Ixia is quite balanced. I tried her in Advance Server and I do think she's more of a team dependent hero. If she's paired with Tank Setters like Atlas or Tigreal, she'll be an absolute beast in team fights. However her lack of mobility is what kills her. In this video, the only opponent that can potentially kill her is Alpha since he can jump to Ixia with his ult, however Alpha wasn't fed enough because Martis kept shutting him down. In practice, any hero that can dive to her will be her biggest weakness, heroes that can disrupt and create chaos like Akai, Gloo, or Belerick is also bad for Ixia, both as a team or as an enemy.
Tbh I played with an opponent Ixia(I was using Beatrix) and it's pretty easy to dodge her Ult and she's like a sitting duck when she uses her Ult. She's incredibly easy to kill in 1vs1 fights.
@@Cosmetic_Star to be honest the enemy team played poorly on this one. Beto kept dominating his lane while Martis also dominated his lane as well. Alucard was also good at rotation unlike the enemy barely ganked Beto, and only gank Beto when Ixia was already fed, which is a really bad idea if your team is underfed (in practice, 2 heroes can actually wipe the enemy team if they are underfed). Martis even dominated the late game together with Ixia as well.

Personally I found building her like Popol really nice, her passive heal is dependent on how much damage the passive attack dealt. So I usually went for 1 to 2 atk spd items with dmg items like BoD at the same time. Corrosion also works well for the ult. Edit: For more specification, while the passive attack does trigger item effects, those effects are not included when calculating the heal, only the initial damage the passive dealt, which has +150% Total Phys attack.
Idk, from what I've seen Trinity heals around 800 against dmg bot yet the pro build heals around 1320 tops(pro build mainly does what I said, BoD with atk spd), honestly no one is saying this but alot of the highlighted pro builds are actually worth considering. Also reason y this works is cause the passive is +150% atk power, and I know most Popols build BoD with atk spd. Edit: Also golden doesn't trigger passive in less attacks, just saying.
@C.5. The deferent between Ixia and Popol is that Ixia required proper aiming her skills not like Popol. That's why damage build, like for him, doesn't work well with her in soloQ. So the best solution is full attack speed for solo players for more sustain.
@@sunmon3824 I mainly use Yifan's build(in the pro builds section) with the dhs and boots being switched around respectively depending on the situation, sometimes hunters strike or windtalker for extra movement spd, other times athenas etc. I don't have too many matches with her since solo q forces me to tank more often but I find aiming her skills not too difficult for a hybrid atk spd dmg build to work(possibly a side effect from having to hit tank skills with precision all the time in hope teammates capitalize). If you really struggle or really want the extra atk speed I think Betosky's first build without the golden staff viable. Edit: It's just: Golden doesn't decrease number of attacks needed to trigger passive or increase heal. Item effects are not included to the heal amount, only damage, which is y I suggest BoD at least as a strong heal.
U ARE RIGHT AND WRONG THOUGH... IN EARLY GAME SHE IS OS EASY TO KILL BUT NOT AS EASY TO SAY...BUT IN LATER GAME CAN WIPE OUT WHOLE TEAM FOR YOU OR ON YOU SHE IS SO FUN. MOONTON DID A GREAT JOB AT THIS NEW MM.
She is quite balanced because just like layla who have really high damage in late game but them both doesn't have a way to escape if flicker on cooldown, any assassin can easily kill her
While I believe that Ixia is definitely strong in certain situations, imo other marksmen are way more viable in the current meta, especially in soloq. She gets absolutely destroyed by any backline divers like Esme and Yu Zhong (this is the case for mose mms but she is exceptionally vulnerable because of her ult).
yeah, even Eve gold lane is better than Ixia, better cc better casting range, ult is bigger and has immune.. IMMUNE when ultying.. Ixia is trash, basically a downgraded version of Eve, Layla, Alpha
I wouldnt say trash. She is more a Team Hero than Soloq. Yiu neee a Roam or Exp who understands he needs to keep her safe in teamfights and be readymto attack the Divers. On the other Hand you cant be a Headless Chicken with her. Positioning is important. I like it this way better than every new Hero gets a Dash.

@@keyos4398 the issue is that she is way more dependent on her positioning and teammates than even other immobile marksmen like hanabi, Layla and Lesley. Layla's stun and movement speed and dps are more consistent than whatever Ixia has, Lesley's one shot potential is insane late game, and Hanabi has her aoe petals and cc immune shield to help her. Unless a tank has caught everyone in a set-up, once Ixia ults she is a sitting duck for any hero that can instantly dive the backline.

For me I think she is a Layla with a static ult. Pretty week in the early game but a scare in the mid to late game. Because of this she is actually pretty balanced if you put pressure on her in the early game you wouldn't have to worry about her much.
i’ve also noticed with her passive, when there are multiple enemies on the 3rd phase of her passive (lifesteal one), as long as they’re in her range, she’s able to pull health from all the targets at once

Building her like Popol or Brody is better and first item BoD is important cuz her passive benefit with high physic atk and lots of msg mean lots of heal too. And only corrosion scythe for atk speed is enough
I am in love with this new hero.I had make some super epic comeback with this hero.This hero is absolutely nuts in the late game when enemy gathers for teamfight and then you can easily wipe out them with ulti and inspire combo.
I played her for a few games and found a build that suits her pretty well. MM Emblem Swift Weapon Master/Tenacity Weakness Finder Build: Swift Shoes/Tough Boots Blade of Despair Corrosion Scythe DHS Rose Gold Meteor/Wind of Nature Malefic Roar Optional Items Immortality Brute Force In the early game, you can dominatr and farm pretty fast and ganks aren’t much of a problem with flicker. Early off you could buy a swift crossbow for the extra attack speed then complete BoD, getting even one legion sword is enough to boost your dmg and sustain ESPECIALLY if you have weapon master. Tenacity is needed for aggressive assassin lineups or aggressive mm like moskov,beatrix,Popol, Brody and others. In the esrly 1v1 laning phase just keep being aggressive on your opposing gold laner because of your high sustain. When they’re hiding, bait them with the gold crab while you’re using it for heal. Ixia is balanced she is quite tank dependent but it also depends on the user too for her position it has to be very good she has absolutely no dash skill

Ixia actually deals less damage with Trinity build the 1st build is better without the Golden Staff She is like Layla (Dashless) so Quantum Charge is a much better Talent for her, more mobility is better for her.. Heroes that can counter Ixia are: *Melissa*: Just out DPS the living heck out of Ixia with Melis's 2nd skill + inspire (if needed). And then continue the pressure by not clearing the wave/delaying so they won't get any gold-exp. ( I literally obliterated some Ixia player using Melissa I was level 10 and Ixia was still level 5 💀 💀 ) *Lesley*: She can out damage her with lesley's true damage. You can do 2 enhanced basic attacks by attacking Ixia first then first skill, if you have 2nd skill then use it to deal the 3rd true damage. Once you deal your damage RUN and then once your skills are back poke her again. Use Ultimate to finish Ixia or make her recall and don't clear the minion wave, unless it's only the siege minion then clear it get as many gold from the tower and repeat the process.. *Pharsa*: She can literally use her ult and deal lots of damage from far away. Since Ixia is a dashless MM (without her flicker) she can die easily with Pharsa *Yeve*: Same with Pharsa, she can Ult far way to deal lots of damage.. *Kagura*: Dashless hero? A SquisHY OnE? Literally she can just one shot combo Ixia *Selena/Novaria*: Long ranged attacks and can mostly and will one shot Ixia.. *Assassin heroes*: Assassin heroes that can chase/burst Ixia like Fanny, Ling, Lancelot, Joy is reasonable.. There are more heroes that can actually counter Ixia but the best way to counter her is to literally just Target the living hell out of her until she gets no gold/exp 💀
As for me, I think she's already better with three atk speed build for damage (the trinity build) then build her some defensive items for the last two slots. (I prefer Thunderbelt and Oracle/Twilight Armor) for better sustainability and chase.
Just like claude, don't treat her ult like a weapon early game, use it to check bushes near you if enemies are missing and use it to zone or clear minion waves if enemies are zoning you
Broken isn't the term I would have use to describe Ixia. Obviously, she is insane in the laning phase thanks to her passive, but I feel like she horribly lack damage in the late game while also be extreamly vulnenable because of her ult. You need to position well evrytime and in my feeling, if u don't have a good frontline to protect u, it become super hard to use her. That's why i feel like ixia is not great yet in solo q
I played her 5 times every game I got either gold or MVP I lost 4 of those Mainly because we either had no tank or the tank didn't have good Cc Early game I was easily able to get kills and avoid dying however once late game came around I could hardly do anything as enemies would easily be able to get to me while ulting I might be able to deal some deadly damage but could never land the kill without risk of dying (Though I'm no mm main)
What's cool about her is that, your ult will not be cancelled even if you're stunned, because from what I've experienced, an enemy Franco hooked me while I was casting her ult and it did not get cancelled.
I know how everybody is talking about the new hero but am i the only one who saw that the subtitles are gone??? Like ive been thinking for like 2 years now how hard for those who actually use (youtube) cc cus beto’s cc can block them but im not sure if beto just forgor or just realized the problem

for me, she's pretty balanced, since what she lacks in mobility, she makes up with the damage. she can easily be countered with quick assassins or displacement cc like minsi's hook that penetrates everything
Ixia is like a lot of the other immobile MMs, such as Layla and Hanabi, they have insane potential but rely on teammates to help them up. In this match, Beto had a good team that could stop their players from potentially taking Ixia out, such as Martis continuously taking out Alpha, who could have posed a big threat to Ixia
In most cases I prefer her with marksman emblem for more atk speed instead of assassin. And I think people are underestimating her saying she's bad. She's great and balanced. She being static during ult isn't a problem since you can cancel it and run if people dive you. But her ult is made for team fights, to scare enemies from objectives and to finish people off
My first game with Ixia is that I got the MVP immediately although the only downside with her is her ultimate. She cannot move in that state therefore she's quite vulnerable from attacks. It reminds me of Odette and Yve where you're really supposed to find a good position for her. Sometimes, it's quite hard especially whenever there's a Yin in the other side who knows how to ambush. She really needs a good tank but overall, I think building defensive items with her is worth it. Kind of like Brody.
In my opinion, Ixia is definitely strong but not broken. Kinda like YZ. She has great teamfight potential and strong late game in exchange for 0 dash and weak early game. And it's good. Moonton should release more balanced heroes.
@@suhaylazmin9112cant reach her? This is an assassin meta. For mages Lunox Pharsa, Novaria and Yve. For mm, Clint, Brody, and if you want to be fancy Layla. For fighters, YZ, Guin, Teriz with flicker. THEY ALL can reach her and kill her. For tanks LOLITA, Franco, Khufra once in ult form she is easy to catch.
She is quite balanced, she is very strong when dealing damage but she doesn't really manage to hold out against most marksmen. It's pretty easy to dash out of her ultimate's range. Fighters can easily kill her even if she's in a far distance from her. And plus, her lifesteal isn't really that good, without windchant, she's kinda just a creep for fighters. She needs a decent tank who can set for her to be useful. Yea she's pretty strong, but besides her strong skills, what else can she do for her survival?
4:16 I think it's Lolita. Same shaped Ult, 1st skill has almost same range, they're like best friends! Forgot to add - Lolita and Ixia's 2nd skills are obviously made for each other! A few days ago, I used 2nd skill to block Gusion's blades, Ixia used her 2nd skill just in time to push him away. I used 2nd phase of Lolita's 2nd skill to slow him down, and a full HP Gusion got liquidated immediately! Same goes for Aamon, except without his shards, he's just dead-weight for the enemy team!🤣
Only mistake to do when against her is not pick either enough jump in hero or range hero. Because when she open open ult she cant go anywhere and her only escape is flicker. So fanny, lapu, etc are good for her jump in hero counter and change, parsha, etc are good for her range hero counter

From my experience: if you are a tank, either pick Belerick or Johnson. They have a stronger reflective damage. With Belerick you pretty much have to use vengeance cuz i double taunted her and she wasnt going down until a press of the vengeance instantly melted her. So no, sadly, your vengeance is forced. As for Johnson.... His physical def is around 500, his skill 1 damage scales with physical def, his ult can crash, his skill 2 deals a lot of dmg, you play dire hit and concussive blast... Also blade armor damage scales with your physical def too. Just try to double stun her and do 2nd skill + basic atks... Try to chip in vengeance when she doesnt expect it. Johnson is the best counter for marksmen due to so many measures he can take to kill them. Either by his skills or plain simple vengeance.
Recomend using crit build to her, especially that scarlet is buffed. And her healing effect in passive gets stronger when you build her with damage items. Thats why i recomend her with crit or early bod.
Need good team to be in frontline when Ult. Ive had so much troubles with assasins when playing Ixia and trying ult in teamfights. IMO its all about your team and how they play.
I have been losing more and more recently, the reason? Its because of random solo q'ers and i have been deranked from Epic 4 5* to Epic 5 3*. I really hope more people watch you more so they will never exist as a bad player again man, im suffering from their brain that has no cells

Her build is hybrid between pure dmg and 2 to 3 atk speed items i think rush BoD first and then go corrosion and DHS and the another 2 items are situation dependent either dmg or WoN or pen or defense you decide
I would recommend build dmg as it would heal her quicker than with attack speed build. I personally build bod as my first core item after the boot. Bod combine with inspire give a lot of dmg and life steal she can go from 1% health to 100% health in second if you combine bod inspire and ulti togethef
Try fighting against agile pickoff line up (lance, fanny, amon, kagura, selena, etc), or facing good xp laner with ability to rush the backline (lapu, esme, yuzong, etc). I bet you gonna get 0 14 0. She have monstrous AoE damage, but lack movement skill. She is kind of like hanabi or layla with AoE burst capability. She is pretty good when facing tanky team fight oriented line up (barats, fredrin, estes, uranus, etc)
I wouldn't say she's broken. She's fairly balanced. Personally, I use a custom Marksman emblem with the following: Swift, Weapon Master, and Brave Smite. Explanation: Swift gives her extra attack speed Weapon Masters gives her additional 5% in every item in her inventory Brave Smite: Every 6 seconds, she heals some HP when dealt damage to enemies. Build: Corrosion Scyte (Slow down enemies on Hit) Swift Boots Demon Hunter Sword (Anti Tank) Windtalker or Wind of Nature Blade of Despair Malefic Roar Attack Damage increases the amount of health she regen when triggering her passive. Also the main reason why it's not necessary to build Haas claws is because her passive doesn't allow her to lifesteal upon hit. So Brave Smite can help her survive longer in the battle.
How do you always know the right item/weapons to buy in game for your character? I use Rafaela support character so I just pick random items because I don’t know which items do I even buy to be strong with fast attack speed and magic damage etc
Really good in team fight if protected - also nuts if put with healer. Not op but balanced. Cons Can be countered with mobility Can easily dodge her ulti

Not broken at all. 80% of my past 20 classic matches they get bronze. I was so pissed I pre select it to block it off and switched hero at the last second
Ixia's life steal passive is pretty annoying. If you play jungler role and plan to gank her lane often then you might want to build sea halbert early or else she can easily outplay you.
