Thanks for the video Very interesting to listen to detailed thorough knowledge of a broad range of products and applications . I have used dedicated thermal scopes for years but now I have my first clip on it’s a krypton fxg My genuine pulsar scope ring adapter attaches to the bayonet style fitting on the end of the fxg I have noticed there’s also a threaded section on the fxg that is not used. During your video you mention a type of adapter ring that is perfectly size specific with no shims. Can u please tell me does this adapter attach to the threads of my fxg or to that poxy bayonet system that I’m nervous about ?
Good information session. ClipOns are something I’ve never played with so didn’t know much about. But this has answered a lot of my questions and given me a good understanding on how they work. Need to have a play with them sometime. Thanks for putting it on Ben. 👍
Can i clip one of these onto a set of binos 10/42 that have range finding. I just dont want to be carting too many optics Thought about hand held monocular rather than clip on. Dont want it on my rifle ever so which way should i go. I want thermal for daytime use. What item would be best. Thanks
Idea for future live show - is there such a thing as matching best host day scopes to clip-ons ie base mag, obj and eyepiece sizes. Any specific optics brands or model ranges to avoid using with clip-ons ie too fragile or flex too much with that extra weight up front or at the back?
