As someone who's generally interested in the entire LoL eSports scene, but never really takes the time to watch, this is massively helpful. Playing since 2010, but the only thing I ever watch is worlds somehow :D

I respect the hell out of how you broke down the teams. You gave every team a fair shake in their rundown. With no "na vs eu" or "east vs west" Bias. Just "heres all the teams and their strengths." High marks man, good job

I’m gonna miss the double elimination format from LCK and LPL playoffs, as those basically guaranteed all the good matchups, but I’m hopeful that this Worlds can deliver as much as last years. My BLG Hopium is at an all time high! Also, gotta love that Kiin gets 6 notable champions lol man’s a beast.

Thanks for doing this. It's nice being able to have a quick rundown that includes the headshots of all the players, thus giving a nice human feeling to the whole tournament. I just want to wish all the players a great time in Korea during the tournament and... LET'S GOO MY BOY BONG with the Neck Gains!

Regarding DFM, its not that they thoughts tol2 wasnt good, its that tol2 left the team after the coaches abused him, coaches got kicked and without a top yutapon roleswapped and somehow they won

Very excited for T1 and DK to activate their worlds form. Not as excited to see GenG's identical twins sub in as they do for every international tournament.

This worlds really does seem like a rock paper scissors. The draws this year seem more important than ever. Probably the hardest worlds to predict.

I'm always surprised at how consistently DFM make it to Worlds with only 1 spot in the region. I know the Esports scene isn't huge in Japan but it's still incredible

Really happy that they're doing the Swiss format. I remember the early RLCS tournaments did a Swiss format and it was really fun to follow, though they don't do it anymore. We'll see how this goes for League I guess.

Small correction for DFM. Tol2 wasnt exactly replaced, but instead quit after receiving verbal abuse from the coaching staff. The staff in question received 6 month bans, and DFM was penalized for the incident (and changing their team after a lock in point).

This is the most stacked Lpl lineup we have ever seen at worlds. Lng are my dark horse they were so close to beating Jdg twice that i really think they can beat the best lck teams. Wbg is the worst lpl team but could also be the best as that is how stacked that team is. Jdg are titans and its hard to see who could beat them. Even if the patch drastically changes the game their roster is so dynamic that they could adapt to anystyle and i also think that they have the 4 best players in the world in Top Mid Jng and Adc. Blg are very very patch reliant so we could see them once again roll over lck teams or they could get choked out by the slower teams like Lng did to them. Overall i hope that Blg and Jdg meet in finals and that Blg wins 3-2 it would be an insane storyline.

One small correction: Fnatic cant take Wunder to worlds, Wunder was FA before summer and was only allowed to one small resign until the end of september by Riot because of Oscarinin Injury taking place in the worst window possible, with a month to prepare Riot wont probably allow it again since Fnatic has an academy Toplaner, Doxy and you cant do signings outside of the offseason, and thats if its even needed since Oscar is expected to be fully healed for worlds.
