I absolutely love how "the Titans" refers to both the Titans that everyone concluded would be the ultimate threat to this universe's existence and the Guardians of Arcadia, who will rise.
Spoilers: not a big fan of the ending more like i HATED IT... it like a giant slap in the face not to the viewers but the story characters as well... why don't Jim just use the info he got on round 1 and not make the same mistakes in the past than put poor Toby in the thick of it unknowing whats going on around him and then make the same mistakes Jim did or worse i get it Toby will get to be main protag but we learnt in the movie and in the show he cannot keep his mouth shut is always messing things up hes also not the brightest bulb he not be able to get the battle plans Jim had... it will end up in a much worse predicament then when Jim did a restart... Jim now has the knowledge of who is good and bad who will be able to help... he could of got Douxie's help more sooner since he knows he has magic and was a pupil of Merlin and since all the training he had from being troll hunter the first time he will have battle experience... he could of saved many characters like Draul, Rundal even Merlin he could of not take Merlin's magic potion that turned him into a troll since he now knows he wont need it... if Merlin tries to put Jim in his "place" Jim will put Merlin in his place with all the knowledge he knows and how much that idea backfired... that would of been good to see... since Jim knows whats going to happen he has a advantage over the 3 demigods and stop their plans before shit hit the fan... do not forget about the past in Camelot with king Arthur when Jim was the troll hunter...what gonna happen now? Jim is destined to be troll hunter not Toby the sad part is the writers did not notice that Toby did so much on the side lines he was a protag in the 3 below being a guide for Steve and Eli and a huge aid in the wizards its like Jim did not learn his lesson from when he has a vision he jumped back in time and not pick up the amulet? the time when Draul was troll hunter... only to see what would happen if Jim was not the troll hunter... we just watched our beloved characters get GUMGUMED in the movie... i feel like the writers just really want to make Jim suffer and constantly trying to down grade him... so much that they decided to nuke the entire story... sorry for the rant its just WRITERS WHY!? i get the message they was trying at the end that anyone could be a troll hunter but in the story they showed us in the show their is only one that can wield the amulet and that was Jim as he is the TRUE TROLL HUNTER on the side note it was a fun watch until the ending part when Jim told Toby to go get the amulet imma pretend i did not see it... Jim the troll hunter end of story he leaned the mistakes from the past and save us heartache...
Personally the part about the ending I hated was Steve and Aja’s relationship getting erased. Them becoming parents is such a good ending for them as it allows them to have something that connects them across the universe if Steve still can’t stay on Akiridion 5 and it gives Steve the last bit of character development he’d need, his father was never around so now he has the chance to be the father his dad could never be to him and actually be there for his kids. But no apparently Steve and Aja are totally fine with Jim potentially forever undoing their relationship, turning Steve back into a one note bully and wiping their newborn babies from all of reality. This ending sucks for Staja fans

Honestly it all would've been better if Jim resetted the timeline instead of going back in time. Since going back in time and changing the past would create another timeline that's completely different from the OG one. Meaning that Jim left his og timeline for nothing. However, if he resets the timeline to a point where the Trollhunters failed to save someone (Nari in the train station. This case from the titan's awakening), reseting the timeline not only will grant him the memories of what will happen, but also the amulet's power again (since it FAILED HIM for NO REASON).
Well the movie is meant to be the final but thankfully there are also fan made comics/stories that help fill in gaps like that. But hopefully we get to see more of these amazing characters on screen later on
I could have sworn that they've kissed more than 7 times throughout the show. It just feels like the writers didn't know what to do with Steve and Eli, so they gave them a dumb teen pregnancy side plot. They could have been so much more useful. Eli was on another planet for a while, so he could help Krel with tech and stuff, and Steve just spent the last show learning to be a knight. He knows how to use a sword now, let him use it!
no relationship will be the same after what everyone has gone through. They made unbreakable bonds. Like imagine Jim with Clare. Clare will not love Jim like before that whole trippy shit.
I just finished watching the movie let me say i strongly dislike the ending jim went through all that just so he could traveled back in time and tobes becoming the troll hunter omfg
I just watched the new movie. Frankly I'm disappointed. Can't believe Toby just died and Jim did a total rewind on the events, giving Toby the title of Trollhunter instead. I was hoping Jim & Claire would have a wedding at the end of the movie. But it looks like we're stuck doing the events all over again. Will there be a new series after Rise of the Titans, or is this the end now? We really need to see a new franchise after Tales of Arcadia.
I just pretend that in the timeline where Toby became the Trollhunter, Jim died, and Toby went back to fix it and gave Jim the chance to be the Trollhunter. It was his idea at the start of the show to go into the canals, and a couple of times it seems like he knows exactly what to do. So he and Jim are in this loop of constantly dying for each other, going back in time, and switching places to do it all over again. Still a dumb ending, but at least this fits the dark tone of the shows better.
Technically in wizards, the events caused by the Trollhunters weren't the original events since when they went back in time, they botched up the events and had to recreate them to save their present
I don’t like how they treated Jim in Wizards having him powerless from the start, dying like three times and then leaving him powerless kind of like Luke in Last Jedi

Actually that episode isn’t worthless, the reason for him turning back to a human is because he earned it. To get to that stage, he left his home, had his mind controlled, hurt his friends and then died. Isn’t that enough reason for him to earn his humanity back. Also it shows how powerful Claire is, how strong her love is for Jim. It also proves that Merlin was wrong, Claire overturned something that Merlin said would be permanent, of course this is mostly in the words of the toa crew, and I never never really connected with Jim as a troll. So take this with a grain of salt, just here to share my view on it.
@@DragonAlpha2004 merlin wasn’t originally wrong. It’s just that the creators didn’t think of making wizards during that time. Merlin could also have said that so that Jim has more confidence with the fight with gunmar, angor rot, and Morgana.
Actually everything has been thought out since the very beginning, wizards was definitely in production while trollhunters was going on, what merlin said has significance and reason behind it, and the ultimate conclusion has been Jim earning back his humanity.

For years, my absolute favorite animated movies/series were the Dragons Franchise. Even after I've watched all Tales Of Arcadia... And I DO LOOOOOVE Trollhunters, really... Still, Dragons remained my favorite number one. But I am pretty sure that Rise Of The Titans is going to change everything (as Hiccup would say) for me 😂 The trailer alone just takes my breath away, the best part of it being when Jim takes Excalibur 💃🏽💕 26.07.2021 Edit: HTTYD remains my favorite 💓 I really did enjoy Rise Of The Titans, but the 3 deaths within such a short time (Nomura, Strickler and Nari) AND Jim's decision at the end ruined it for me. I understand why he "passed on" the Amulet to Toby. But in doing so, completely changing the Timeline, he didn't only erase all the horrible things they had to deal with, he also erased all the good things they had with each others, the deep and loyal friendships, Draal, Vendel, Aaaarrrggghhh!!!, Blinky, and everything that cemented his relationship with Claire. He could have gone back to the point after he defeated Gunmar...? Or after they defeated Arthur/The Green Knight, after he got back his human form... Why go back to the day he found the Amulet and change everything? Knowing fully what terrible things are now expecting Toby, who is as brave as Jim, but let's be honest, wouldn't stand a chance in a battle or hand-to-hand combat... But the animations were, of course, AMAZING, DreamWorks, as always 💖💓
Spoiler....... . . . . . Rant on the ending: So what about all the character development between Claire and Jim? What about his Claire? will he just start over with the new Claire in the new timeline? But this Jim knows everything about Claire and Claire doesn't know shit about him. Also what about wizard Claires sacrifice to leave everyone to live with troll Jim, what about all the fuking investment we put in this series. All gone to the trash can? A better ending would be Jim uses the new time powers of the amulet to bring back toby and lost his powers and Excalibur for good. Cut to timeskip Jim and Claire are married and the shot spans to jims kid showing his eyes suddenly glowing green like when Jim puts on the armour. Much more satisfying ending with opening roads for future series.
I would recommend to Netflix to make a series that would explain the whole new story and I wish Jim had had his amulet in time travel AND he would accompany Toby in battle as two united control killers and Y that shows almost the same course of stories from Arcadia and also include all the characters and call it Trollhunters a New Beginning
Finished binge-watching Wizards earlier this evening, in preparation for tomorrow's release of Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans! This is gonna be a GLORIOUS FINALE!!

Just saw the movie, and it was absolutely awesomesauce!!!!!!! (Apart from a rather stupid plot point involving Steve that I won't spoil here). I only hope that this isn't the final conclusion given how it ended....
(Unpopular Opinion) This finale was worse than SVTFOE, and I didn't think that was even possible. At least Star had a downward spiral since Battle for Mewni, and as it drew to a close you were expecting a bad ending. Tales of Arcadia was incredible the whole way through, and that ending came out of nowhere. It just sucks!
The only thing you need to know before watching this movie if you haven't already is DON'T. It will ruin entirely your love of all that came before, because this movies ending will laugh in your face for having invested so much time and love in the series. The ending sucked bad. So bad. Really, really bad. So, if you loved the series, as I did, and you haven't watched this move yet, spare yourself a world of heartache, and keep the fond memories you already have.
This series is great.And it has the best soundtracks too. Take none shall live,for instance.Whenever i see Claire ultimate portal,flying amulet,or Jim vs bellrock. I literally always join in and start singing.
Found this series a few days ago and just finished the lot today + film... Film was very good.. Ending.. Not so much... Buuut I need more jim and claire.. She was insanely in love with him and he just took it all away and it won't ever be the same again when he rebuilds his relationships with everyone again, really hoped they would have a good happy ish ending
I haven't been this angry about a show's finale since Star vs. the Forces of Evil. And just like Star, the more you think about it, the worse it becomes. Gunmar is still alive, so is Bular. Claire most likely would never have joined them, because now she's the sidekick's girlfriend (like Darcy was), which means that her natural gift for shadow magic would have never been unlocked, meaning that they would have no way to shadow travel after the staff was broken. Steve wouldn't be as invested in taking done Toby as he was for Jim (Jim being his main rival, not Toby) so he and Eli might not have become friends. Without Eli to make him a nicer person, Aja would never have fallen in love with him. This could have undone Staja! Jim set his mom and Stickler up again, but at this point he's still an evil changeling. Why would he do that? And I don't think that Toby is really capable of being the Trollhunter. He doesn't have the spirit, for example wanting to walk away when he sees Steve bully Eli. Jim fighting Steve in that moment was really important for his character, and there's no way in hell that Toby would have done it. If he even survived that long. Without Jim, Toby would have been killed by Bular on the first day. And there was an episode with this exact plot in season 2 of Trollhunters, where Jim didn't pick up the amulet and everyone died.
Spoiler alert: any of this information will matter because in the end of the movie it al begins again from the very first episode and Jim let’s Toby be the Trollhunter, I don’t about the rest of fans but I’m pretty sure he is not gonna survive even Bullar
