Todd, thank you for putting out this series. You've mentioned in past videos how not everyone can afford the [fill in the blank]. The 2 reasons I'm able to have the accessories I do is 1. I've been fortunate to come across some incredible deals from time to time ranging anywhere from 10% off to 50% off. And 2, because I do the majority of my installation which saves alot of $! Takes a lot longer (measure twice cut once) but it's worth it! Video's like these help me be able to DIY install, which in turn allows me to afford the toys. Thanks brother!

I've had dealers rig my boat and I've then re-rigged my boat. There is nothing like doing it yourself so you can make changes or repair/diagnose faster and easier. With that being said, it helps to have the right information to make the right decision for you.

Great advice on going through a vendor that specializes and knows what they are doing. When you buy through a smaller business like jones, or the bass tank or russell marine, its incredibly valuable to have someone you can call / email to ask a specific question like what kind of cable do I need, or what graphs are compatible with each other. So much easier than trying to research it all on your own.

I do all my own rigging and 90% of my own repairs. That way I know its done right and if something happens I almost always know how to fix it. Love the colors on the new boat

Great video, looking forward to the others videos to come!!!! Man I wish I was in that area but who knows!! I’m very big on customer service and these guys seems to be great with helping I just wish these boat dealers was the same when selling boats they tell you what you wanna hear until you sign your name but I just might have to make that ten hour drive

Good show look forward to the rest of the series...some things never change we sanded transducers on flashers in the 80s...will you get into livescope transducer adjustment on shaft in future shows?

Hey Todd, looks like this may be just as good as the Deep Water Series! I must ask though, will pricing be covered in this series? How much should we expect to spend for labor and stuff like that? I know it varies depending on what you get, but that would also be helpful information! Thanks for the great content!

It would be cool if you did a pre rigging before a tournament video too. How you mentally prepare what goes through your head.

Todd, I'm sure you are busy with Boat Rigging vids currently, but would like to see a terminal tackle org video if you ever get time - have seen bits and pieces on previous vids re baits, but not so much on terminal tackle. From what I can tell watching you rig setups in other vids it appears you are using terminal coffin for weights and other rigging items, and a deep casket for hooks? If it's that simple maybe a video isn't needed :) but have been trying to revise my setup and have gone through many iterations ie edge, fto, bags, gruvs etc never really finding the perfect system.

Did he use something to hold down the transducer while the epoxy dried? Mine kept wanting to roll on its side so I had to rig a stick with a weight tied on it to keep pressure down. Not an easy place to get 2 hands on it

depending on the boat we have various things we do use to keep the ducers down to prevent that.

i was having trouble with my humminbird a few weeks ago. it wouldn't power on. found that the clip where it plugs into the unit was loose. i ended up having to take that cover off and just plug in everything one cord at a time. i found that the port for the power where it plugs into the unit had some plastic missing around it. not sure if there is anything i can do about it or just roll with it like it is.
@jonesmarineelectronics7850
@jonesmarineelectronics7850 Год назад
If its a helix the clip catches are notorious for breaking out. Youll have to call Humminbird on that one.
