My biggest issue is learning how to find the happy spot on my lights, measure and balance my co2. I have a chihiros wrgb 2 on my 20 gallon planted tanks. I'm using the co2art inline diffuser for my co2 and just got an apera ph60 pen for now until I have decide which monitor I want to get. I just have no idea what I'm doing as far as measuring my co2 levels and it's been hard to find good info on the best method, a walk through ect.. Im aware of the pH drop method as well as the old school ph kh. I have some algae issues I want to fix from the source an I know it's just because my tanks somewhat new and out of balance. Any guide to point me in the right direction? Really wanna learn what and how to get the best results I can! I really appreciate it any feedback you have an would love to send you pictures, video, parameters, any info you would like also! Love the videos man!

Hello I know this video is a year old but I was hoping you could clarify 3 questions I have. How long would a CO2 canister of this size last in a 32gal tank? And what speed am I trying to get the bubbles to in the bubble guage? Like one bubble every 3 seconds or...? And what would be the risks for my aquarium if I had it set too fast accidently?

I’m getting a canister filter to help with co2 movement, with an in-tank diffuser where should I place the diffuser? In it should be towards the bottom to allow the most time to dissolve but do I put it on the back side of the tank or on the sides? On the input side or outflow side?

@@BravoD1Nonly don't be scared. The bubble counter has already check valve built in . For extra safety it's recommended to use a check valve. We fill.the bubble counter with water but that water doesn't go inside the regulator because the bubble counter has a Check valve in it .Very few people know this .

Does it matter where you place the co2 diffuser?
@MJAquascaping
@MJAquascaping 3 года назад
Yes it does! I always prefer to place it on the opposite side of the filter outflow. This way the flow pushes the micro CO2 bubbles down, and they stay in the aquarium longer. Most important thing is that the CO2 doesn't go straight up to the surface.
