Thank you so much! I never got to play Breath of the Wild but my friend gifted me a copy of Tears of the Kingdom so I needed a general sum of the story! This video was amazing!
I just pre-ordered TotK and I can't wait to play it ❤ btw, I fully thought the old man on the Great Plateau was gonna be Ganondorf before he revealed himself as King Rhoam 😅
Lovely. Loved the way you appreciated this little vast realm - the nerdy Zelda humor, little acknowledgments along the way, and your voice. Feels like a hearty truffle for the pocket for future explorations :3 Thank you
idk why but you just explaining what happens to various music in the game just makes me weirdly emotional. I just love this series and this game so much
This is the best video I have watched. Thank you for simply explaining this. Take note content creators: all the extra, big unnecessary words, and weird accents are not needed to get your point across. makes it harder to understand and follow. Thank you so much. I wish I would have seen this before I played the game😅. Makes me want to replay and fall in love all over again but with a better understanding. Awesome job! ❤❤❤
York is my first Zelda game and now I’m considering getting bots before finishing York but I think I’ll just watch some videos that fill in the missing story
Thank you so much for the history of the game. Haven't played any Zelda game and have watched BOTW played by awesome content creators. It makes sense now.
I just got TotK for Christmas and I’m so excited to play it but I defo needed to catch up on my BotW knowledge, especially coz I found the ending so unsatisfying
great video, i never played botw till like 4 days ago cuz i couldnt get into it and was young but now im getting totk and needed a recap cuz i aint gonna get to beat the game by tomorrow 😅
I remember when your AC content was getting over 1M views per video. I loved your videos so much then. No offense, but this one just felt like every other BOTW recap video that dropped since the last Nintendo Direct. I miss you making stuff that no one else was making. I hope you find your niche again; you are so talented, and I know it’s hard when your whole channel was about a game that isn’t getting updated and has unfortunately very much lost its hype even among veteran fans. You’re the best and I hope you and the channel continue to be successful!! Sorry if my thoughts are rude or unappreciated. I just think you typically bring so much more to the table than most video game youtubers, and this sorta fell a little short of your usual high quality content. ❤
You know, one major plot point that could possibly shape Tears of the Kingdom is the fact Zelda no longer has the sealing power as she completely exhausted it after she “sealed” Ganon away. Now with Ganondorf’s corpse back, Zelda can’t do anything to seal him away. So (while we don’t know how exactly the events unfold, but I’m pointing a finger) Zelda just reawakened the monstrosity that ravaged Hyrule and brought her own kingdom into much worse ruin that ever. However, past Zelda titles have been known to depict Zelda as a sacrifice to resurrect Ganon due to the power of Hylia and the Golden Goddesses within her. In Tears of the Kingdom, Zelda no longer has it, so Ganondorf’s attempt to sacrifice her for his own resurrection would backfire. So he would most likely figure out an alternative method of resurrection. This idea had me wondering if another yet more combat-experienced and more magic-oriented incarnation of Princess Zelda (SSBU) would appear in the game as Link’s travel companion while “science” Zelda is trapped with an undead corpse. Unfortunately, with the trailers so far, that doesn’t appear to be the case. I don’t know about you, I kinda blame everything on whiny Zelda. Just when you thought everything was going to be settled, just when she redeemed herself, she let hell loose again.
Pov: your ex took botw in the breakup when you had 1 divine beast left so you have to watch this before totk because you never got to actually finish the first game 🥲
