@@ummacnai The bunker actually doesn't really have much revealed lore yet. Currently, it's known for being the first place in the game that seems to be researching the rifts (those blue things that teleport you into the sky when you walk into them) and seems to be the first place to have been able to control them for personal teleportation. (those other things that they guessed were teleporters for the bunker, whereas the bunker was a teleporter hub, will teleport you to the basement of a random nearby house)

@@ummacnai I don't know much either, but there is mysterious never seen figure called "the wanderer", that came into the island from a different reality and started building these "secret lairs". All of this culminated in him making a spaceshift that flew off, teared reality and created those rifts around the island. This new bunker appears to be made by the same guy, especially given the teleportation tech in there, but could be by the local military which has some "thor 1 style" analysis camps in the island trying to figure out what is happening. Maybe they figured how to make rifts themselves.

On behalf of all the Ranting Old Man gamers; welcome to the porch. (I'll be turning 50 in April, and can painfully say I've been playing D&D longer than Matt has been alive) My kids got me to try Fortnite on our weekly game night back in October. I've hung-up on it ever since. Battle Royale is fun, if you don't mind getting fragged by teenagers a lot. I find the Save The World co-op PvE mode, much more satisfying. If Taliesin actually gets into this, he needs to be set-up with the Plague / Dim Mak Igor skin, because it's so Percy, it's like they made it for him.

I just turned 46, and started playing D&D when I was 9. Brother almost wouldn't let me play because the box said 10+. I cant stand battle arenas. Ever since Quake and Counter Strike *shiver*. But Taliesin did say he hasn't used a Keyboard and Mouse to play a game in 2 years. Maybe he would have a better time on a controller.

It had a private island mode previously where you could just build shit with 3 friends, though it was mostly still focused on battling each other. They added a Minecraft-ish Creative play mode last week that is just what you described. You can just build shit. Or you can create plane races (I think). Or you can murder each other. Or do all of the above.

It's really great to see Matt just hanging out with his buddy. As a DM there's always this distance between him and his friends, but here he just gets to have fun and chill with Taliesin.
