For over a decade, generations of owls lived in my yard. We could hear 3-4 owls at a time, cooing. We never saw more than 1 at a time still.

as someone who lives in west virginia, we see owls on the daily. and i work at a state park and i see them even more there. i probably see 5 a week easy. they are some very amazing creatures. but also very annoying at night because when they chat back and fourth they can get real fking loud. also very beautiful when you get to see the rare ones.
