What Trina feels when she goes Diary. Angry: 36 times. Love/Happy: 9 times. Scared: once. Sad: 4 times. I know no-one asked for this but I decided to make it happen anyway.
@ohno7153 From the puppets, the ep where they haunt Trina with puppets to get revenge since its her worst fear, she goes diary because she's bull crap scared
Besides the fact that she has some super natural ability that most go unnoticed, we must talk about the durability of those pages and the insane amount, since she basically writes on 5 or 6 full pages at a time over and over
Interesting thing is that the creators of this series has revealed that Trina and Corey were supposed to be revealed as demi gods and their parents had to give them up when they were young since they were in danger of a threat
I low-key feel bad for her, her life is constantly being ruined just coz Corey's too oblivious to write his own lyrics... Sick Metal that's plays when she goes Diary though....
@MYTHICALNOVA2005Honey, you need to learn how to keep things to yourself or for your friends. We’re neither of those things and no one wants to validate you for your dog’s death. You should be ashamed of yourself
There was a simple solution to this. Have Trina join the band as their official song writer so that they didn’t have to look in her diary and Trina would be helping them while still having that outlet
Am I the only one who wondered why Trina never put a lock on her diary? Corey seems to be able to get to it so easily. That would've made a great episode. Trina figures out what her brother's been doing with her diary and puts a lock on it to sick it to him. Then the band has to go through all sorts of wacky hijinks in order to get it open to get the lyrics. It would be a nice change from the formula.
Wow, wait that could be an awesome finale, where they end the episode in a confrontation where Trina gets complemented for her lyricism and learns to appreciate her brother’s garage band❤
I saw some people saying that trina could be bipolar, but I think she really is borderline, because she feels her emotions to the extreme and is very dependent on the validation of the boy in red jacket, among other more subtle conditions, but I really think she suffers from borderline.
Also she has latent super/magical/psychic powers, which are tied to her emotions and are strong enough to change the environment around her, but she’s unconscious for them. Oh my gosh shes Female Mob from Mob Psycho
@@BreakfastButterShe is, and yet people are like "oh poor Trina for Corey psychologically manipulating her," BRUH SHE TREATS HER ONLH FRIEND LIKE GARBAGE AND ACTIVELY TRIES TO RUIN HER BROTHER'S BAND.
You know the saddest part of most of these are, it's the sadness briefly on her face on the anger ones afterwards. Not only is there exhaustion from an anger meltdown, but at least for me there is just a saddening part where you feel sorrowful for having that reaction in the first place, which makes the fact that they're mostly orchestrated by her brother of all people more messed up from him. At least that's how I look at it.
That's a good point. I also have to wonder if she would have been such a bitch if she had a therapist or a healthier way to deal with anger. She gets angry at the simplest things, and to me it just feels like a normal teenager dealing with hormones, emotions, and every day life. She's not a nice person at all, but sometimes I wonder how much of that is because of Corey's interventions to get to her diary and a lack of proper handling on her emotions
@soifinallyhaveanaccountnow yeah what's sadder is that Trina acts and thinks she's the popular girl in school she really isn't which makes how she treats her only friend even worse because she she really doesn't have anyone else beside her one friend who is insanely supportive and forgiving.
Corey tries to mess with Trina, so she gets so emotional with traits such as sadness, happiness, anger, and fear. It's because Trina can make good lyrics and doesn't realize it. But I find it ironic how, depending on how she feels, the environment around her changes like anger = fire, sadness = rain and thunder, happiness = rainbows. Swoons = love hearts. But the absolute breaking point is that Trina can fly! I must wonder if there would be a time where she could control it naturally. What a thing to wonder.
I'm surprised with how emotional and dangerous she can get with that much anger that writing in her diary is *all* she does. Gotta respect her self control. Not saying she hasn't done mean things though.
Bruh Corey is kind of a jerk. All that psychological abuse he caused to Trina have probably damaged her sanity forever. Her rage moments were my favorite btw, she's the best character from the show.
to be fair there were a number of times where he didn't cause it, he just used the situation to point out what Trina was probably already thinking in said moment.
plus im pretty sure there were a few times where Corey had little to no involvement, ie: the gym moment with the old ladies, and the moment with candy the song artist, but i do understand that most of it was staged by corey
I assume it's a lot of emotion and angst of a teenage girl. A lot could come out of it to turn into lyrics. What I like is after she is done writing, she is most of the time emotionally exhausted.
I like to think that everything that happens is actually perceived by others but slight amnesia is an effect of her powers. Everyone just kinda deals ig 🤷🏽♀️
Like Trina is a jerk. She has some really mean moments. But watching this as an adult makes me feel bad for her.....Like she's definitely Bipolar or at the least struggles to manage her emotions. And her brother takes advantage of that constantly even if he doesn't cause it all the time. Just so....he can get song lyrics? Honestly that's wild and I always wished she realized that she could write fire lyrics and start selling them to a different band
I like how the entire concept of this series is just "Songwriter pisses off his sister into writing in her diary because he has perpetual writer's block."
Any else realised that her entries are theoretically a cooping mechanism to help with the grief accumalated against Corey and other annoying characters
@@joelandreijose5916 yeah but the show doesn’t really address that. If anything, they kinda exploit her to write these “tasteful lyrics” which is kinda sad 😂
I was kinda hoping that there would be an episode where a diary rage was so intense, it somehow caused everything to turn into a natural disaster movie.
Did anyone else wished that the show used this side of Trina more? Like yeah she goes into extreme emotion when writing her diary, it can make her into a powerful antagonist/protagonist sometimes.
As a kid, I liked these scenes. As a teen, I understand her pain. Seriously, all the crap she's been put through just because she has better song writing skills.
I didn't remember those meltdowns to be this frickin metal. Trina was a lot more badass than I remembered, and honestly? Her and Corey should simply collab.
Both siblings have mad writing skills. Trina does this in her diary, and Corey always gives a final reflection at the end of the episode that could have been the lyrics for the episode's song. They also have musical talent; Cory obviously plays in a band... And Trina can fucking summon Rock Metal out of thin air when enraged.
@@prettyprincess8598 I like Corey, but I see your point, I kind of wish Phineas and Ferb would beat him up, as they don't try to deliberately push their older sister, Candace over the edge. Corey pulls out all the stops to do so.
@@prettyprincess8598 Trina isn't exactly innocent since she does shitty things to Corey too. And that's kind of the point of their relationship. They just do shitty things to each other all the time.
@@prettyprincess8598 they usually do that after she purposefully tries to ruin their band, example: she keeps them from getting a gig at a wedding then they trigger diary mode
10:07 this is my favorite in rage, it's such a demanding and an absolute vibe even if it's the same thing with the other rage scenes. The bees add a really nice touch to it as well.
One could argue that Trina doesn't actually have this power, it's her diary and/or pen that's giving her the power because we don't see her using any other writing utensil and she always has her diary with her all the time.
Every time I think about comparing Trina and Mina to Candace and Stacy from Phineas and Ferb, I realize I just can't, because Candace doesn't treat Stacy like garbage. And to anyone who hates Candace, I'll say, "Look and see that Trina's a bigger jerk than Candace." Finally, Trina is like Candace if you removed all likability from her and replaced it with 100% evil.
@@Numbuh8578 Exactly. Trina (Grojband) becomes kinda angry similar to Lori (and also Lola) (The Loud House), Squidward (SpongeBob SquarePants) or possibly Sarah (Ed, Edd n Eddy). She has braces similar to Luan (The Loud House). She keeps a diary similar to Princess Mia (Disney’s The Princess Diaries).
No one seems to mention how she has some latent powers of sorts, but she doesnt remember using them each time. So she’s pretty much a Female Mob from Mob Psycho, but with less control over her powers.
These are the diary modes that Trina went in every Grojband episodes. Perhaps, the show got canceled because Corey and his band ran out of songs and Trina can’t go into anymore diary modes?
@@zacharyyamashita8554 How come when I see Trina write in her diary, she looks like Luan Loud but with pink hair, acts like Lori Loud, with Lola Loud's admiration for things pink.
@@reina_harhar7815What you just called, and describe the mixture of these emotion, both anger and sadness diary mode...was called resentful diary mode, but if you Google it, it will help you out. Not lying 🤥. Just check it out 😁
i like how in the last diary instead of doing the heart effect for the writing, its still flames so even though she's incredibly happy she is still writing the most terrible horrible things about people into that diary
Personally, I never really cared for Grojband. Corey is such a jerk to his own sister, like in the episodes Bee Bop A loofah when he was obnoxiously splashing and got soap in her eye and Indie Road Rager when Trina saw him eating under her bed. No wonder she tries to sabotage him and his band.
You know Now that you mention it, Corey must have been the reason why his sister life is a living hell, and why she was trying to sabotage the band from the very beginning.
Dude, she absolutely deserves this treatment for being a stuck-up b*tch and awful friend and even worse sibling. Not once has she shown any sort of remorse for her actions or ever cared for her brother's well being. Corey's done absolutely nothing wrong.
She went into a fit of laughing madness at one point. The people of Peaceville should be lucky Trina never channels that anger into more destructive or villainous pursuits.
Omg i remember this show, it's been so long😩 So basically Trina has God like powers for a short period? She must be some kind of devil's spawn, never fully noticed back then.... love that ✨
11:26 The fact she genuinely wanted to unalive herself because of Corey's shenanigans is disheartening ong,,, Edit: So I may have misunderstood the situation at hand, so thanks to the first two replies for correcting me.
She wanted to expose them for being fake heroes by making them fail in saving her. If what you said is what’s happening then it would’ve been out of pettiness
@@thatboy_flamez I do wanna thank you and the other reply for correcting me, but if that was the case, she most definitely would've died. Which, now that I think about it, would've been very stupid to explain in the afterlife.
Or someone has you *(Unless you have another person with you to make it a songwriting duo)* locked up in a room until you come up with lyrics to a song. Legend says Andrew Loog Oldham did that to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards before they became the songwriting duo for The Rolling Stones.
I literally do not understand people defending Trina when she has done all sorts of awful things and treats Mina like garbage, like are we also forgetting she tried to outright kill Corey?
yeah anyone defending her hasn't seen the show tbh. At most corey insults or manipulates her into doing a meltdown compared to her trying to kill him and his friends multiple times and her abusing her best friend..
I mean considering the lyrics are from her diary, either her diary mode makes her forget she wrote in her diary or she thinks it's just a coincidence that he has lyrics that sounded like it is from her diary.
I've never seen this show. Not sure why this was recommended to me or why I chose to watch it, but I do know one thing: I am super addicted to the song that plays during the angry diary sequences. The song plus the super angry visuals are just -- *chefs kiss*
