the screen is excellent on the fx30, it I do always carry this for the really sunny days

The ZV-E1 is really underrated in my opinion. Soon people will figure out that you can get FX6 quality for $2200 and they will all get one and stop talking about "overheating"

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis That little device worked perfectly this morning. It magnifies the F stop and shutter speed on the screen so I can read it. Added bonus to blocking out light. I wish Sony cameras could read F stop and everything. I know they have menu screen reading, but not for the important things Accessibility seems unnecessary for cameras, but many have low vision where you can’t read without magnification, but you still see well enough for photography to be enjoyable.

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis One quick question Mark , will you have a chance to review Yongnuo 16mm 1.8 APS-C lens? There are very few reviews about it but I heard so many good things about it even compared to Sigma 16mm it is a quite sharp lens as I checked the sample photos somewhere. It was under 190$ during 11.11 lens , I`m seriously considering to buy it but I would be interested to hear your thoughts as well.

I’ve been using it mostly for photos, so I didn’t notice any stuttering. the long straps should be in the bag

about the same here in canada. I ordered mine from the us and came out to be cheaper. but if you don’t need the bungee cords, you might be able to get a similar one for cheaper

are you sure the straps aren’t there - they came not acctached and in the bottom of the bad it came with. I didn’t notice the, at first. they are small rubber bands

Yup - when you need it - it works

Check everything from 7artisans , TTartisan , pergear, risespray. They have a ton of cheap bright manual lenses .

EVF’s must be too expensive to turn a profit. That’s the only thing I can figure. I think it’d be great if they had one. You could try a different variation of the LCD magnifier in the uk. They’ll all work similarly

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Yes I just ordered this one "BTER Camera Viewfinder, Professional 3X Magnification LCD Viewfinder Magnifier for 3in/3.2in LCD Screen" it was £40 so not too bad. It actually mounts via the 1/4 screw thread and has a built in arca swiss style plate for mounting it to the camera. We'll have to see if it's any good.

no - it doesn’t have a mechanical shutter at all (which is what covers the sensor in the other Sony’s)

did you pop it out all the way? it cannot be collapsed and have a good image

just use the powerbank you have. The ZV-E10 uses 5v through the usb-c. you can record while plugged in to the usb-c, but it will not charge while in use. The battery will drain very slowly while beep recording and plugged in to the usbc. about 10% per hour, do it will still last a very long time.

The screen is perfectly useable with this device. Put it in manual brightness "0" and it looks great.

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis What I meant is, is the viewfinder attachment usable with the low resolution zv-e10 screen? Isn't staring at that low-quality screen from so close up unbearable? Does it actually help you get shots like a proper EVF would?

for video the fx30. for photos or a combination of photo / video - then the R7. but you will likely hav to adapt some EF lenses.

when its not sponsored - I can choose to review anything I want and say whatever I want. If I find a useful product that I buy for myself and I share it with my audience - it would be foolish to not include an affiliate link. You've got it backwards - I have an incentive to make a video about a good product I like that is helpful to me and my audience - not the other way around. If I didn't think they should buy it - I would make a video about something else. Making affiliate income is not "icky" when you are talking about products you like and you are honest. Some people actually like to support the creators through affiliate income, especially when it doesn't cost them a dime extra. I guess you would rather amazon keep the 3%.

the FX3 is built for cinema rigs - cages, gimbals, attachable XLR top handle, Cine EI, fan for extreme heat - you can buy whatever you want - the A7SIII is great. Pointing out there is a solution for people who have cameras without EVF's is not being a snake oil salesman. There are lots of cameras without EVF's - as mentioned - the zv-e10, fx30, z30 and more. The A7SIII is definitely not the answer for those people. Try to understand not everyone has the same needs as you and maybe stop calling people disingenuous.

I don’t know. I actually bought min from US Amazon and had it shipped here to canada because it was cheaper that way
