“NATUROM DEMONTO " “aka” NECRONOMICON " aka "Ex Mortis: The Book of the Dead! My book is modelled around the “NATUROM DEMONTO” from The Movie “EVIL DEAD “2013.
The date was June 26th 2013 when I began and the book itself took me around 8 months to build, the construction began with an A4 folder (Ring Binder) followed by the leather cover which was fitted as one piece around the whole folder, then the stitching!!!! My Goodness this took me some time as I used a total of 14 meters of antique brown flattened 100% genuine leather rope which then had to be glued at each end one by one to the reverse side of the cover. Finally I began illustrating the pages, I had immense fun with these pages, 15 of them were easy enough to do because I got them from TANE WILLIAMS web site and after talking with him for permission to use them for a personal art project I then moved on to my own drawings. Finally I began designing the pages with the passages written throughout generations of the book's existence so as I'm sure you’re aware the hand writing was a lot more difficult than I anticipated but fun none the less.
