Overlord: Raising Hell Gameplay Information:
Discover how corruptible you are in Overlord, the twisted fantasy action adventure where you can be evil (or really evil). In the game's seriously warped fantasy world, players will become the Overlord and get first-hand experience of how absolute power corrupts absolutely. You could be a regular run-of-the-mill Overlord. However, with incredible power at your disposal and a team of evil-minded impish critters, the Minions, on hand to do your bidding, how will you resist the temptation to be wonderfully despotic?!
Go deeper into the Overlord's twisted world as the single-player expansion content opens a series of hellish new levels, each a supernatural abyss for the game's five kingdoms: Mellow Hills, Evernight, Heaven's Peak, the Golden Halls and the Ruborian Desert. Access to each abyss is via a portal, which opens once a kingdom has been successfully conquered and the previous ruler banished to a personal hell within. However it's not just the fallen heroes that have been dragged into the abyss: the Overlord's newly loyal peasants have also been taken down into hell too.
With the undead denizens of each abyss on the attack and threatening the Overlord's reign above ground, there's only one thing for it: assemble your minion army, descend into each abyss and embark on a fresh wave of tyranny in order to return the serfs to their homelands, defeat the fallen heroes once and for all, and claim the throne of each kingdom's underworld.

To make sure the minions get the equipment sweep then trough the place, they sometimes break the boxes and don't gather the equipment, so make sure to do a sweep, also if they still don't get it they have better equipped

Such a great game, with an even more amazing sequel, hope you'll do both =P BTW the % you see hover around the 110% is the avarage power of you minions, based on their number and the equipment they have, 100% means you have the minions to the cap with no equip, also quality tends to win over quantity, so if you summon new minions with no equip you'll tend to see the number go down

Man just so you know you can hit non hostile targets (innocent people) by targeting them this is how you get evil points and achievments.

Watching you play this is anxiety inducing because the percentage is OBVIOUS as to what it is, especially after gnarl points it out. Also looking forward to watching you drown your browns going for the minion totem.

So the 115% thing is the overall strength, so if you have one minion with 200% strength and a second one with 100 the score would be 150%

The percentage under the minion counter is the power level, it is increased whenever your minions grab loot

You can lock on to enemies with the left trigger so your spells will be more accurate. Also, you can't kill innocents unless you lock onto them.

The minions have health regen the game doesn't say, attack let then fight for a small time then recall wait 3 to 5 seconds and do it again guerrilla warfare style

Ah... I could say Overlord is underrated and lament how we were cheated the perfected third sequel, but both games were equeally flawed or janky in the own right. My biggest issues with both games being the pacing and short length of the game, followed by the lack of true strategy beyond Horde comp and spell choice, and how beyond basic choices it doesn't do enough to make you feel like a total bastard. But I still love this series. I've accepted a Fable sequel without false promises and short comings is more likely than Overlord 3 ever happen, given a (admittedly good) anime stole the name and any fading relevancy the games had. What I think is needed is a full on spiritual successor, an Overlord fan more than knows these games short comings and issues. I hope one day we get a proper Evil Overlord Sim with full on action/RTS combat this series was never allowed to evolve into. Kingdom of Hero's is apparently the only other game I've seen similar to Overlord's combat, so it wouldn't be the worse place to pull from either.
