It's so fascinating seeing a guy that is so naturally humble but also so rich that he accidentally seems unironically cocky at times but then you know he's humble but he also gambles with 100s of thousands and stayed in a mansion for a million dollars a night. Like isn't that just crazy?
its so hard to fucking get a bead on this guy - like did he want to changes lives or change his life? and even then does it matter now after helping so many people
I actually can’t really believe how insanely rich he is now, I straight up used to watch him during the deleted worst intros era and never could’ve predicted the success
I found his channel when he was at around 900K subscribers, which seems like a lot until you realize that his channel is literally 186 times larger now.
Also, loving Jimmy for making Cody and Noel feel so comfortable and relaxed, enough to the point they are spilling some of the "secrets". (Getting to know what car Noel has). I love cars so i was always so curious what Noel drove. I hope to one day also have my 1 and only nice car
Ever since the teaser post on Instagram I’ve been refreshing the TMG RU-vid channel like a psycho so I could get my taste of evil Mr Beast. Feeling very pumped but also strangely proud about that collab!
The part about Mr Beast burgers coming to ma and pa shops made me actually tear up, because we are lucky enough to have gotten one in my small home town at my favorite Greek food joint. Owned by a beautiful hard working family who got an opportunity of help through him, Mr Beast Burgers!!! It's so cool! New York Lunch in Erie Pennsylvania!!! Anyone visiting there should check it out!
ive never truely just listen to mr.beast not be in youtuber mode and just talk this guy is awesome. i could see him just being a fantastic friend to have. not because of his money but from his chill and supportive demeanor
I love how chill Mr. Beast is and open and transparent in this podcast. I also love Cody's facial expressions with some of the things Mr. Beast says like at 8:38 haha
just 2 rich guys and a super rich guy talking bout being rich in all seriousness, amazing episode. love how yall and beast had that "ping-pong" back and forth; giving more credit to beast saying you guys have good chemistry.
20:53 Also, I did. My friend from middle school used to show me his counting videos, but I didn't know that was him at the time until he showed me his channel and I realized it was the same one, I just never watched his counting vids. I started watching his COD vids since early middle school. The "best intros" was my favorite series, if it would even be classified as a series, but the main point is I've been watching his vids since he only had a few hundred subs
The reason it's important that beast gives the people the option to just take the money is because of tax. When you are given something like that, that the value of it goes straight to your "income". So, for example, the island that mr beast gave. Say it was worth 1m dollars. You'd have to pay taxes as if you made 1m dollars. So if you lived in California, you'd have to pay $461,800 in taxes. You can see how this is a problem. So the only ppl that would actually be able to take the island are people who could've just bought the island themselves.
sometimes I don’t feel like watching the pod, but then I do because I’m lazy and don’t feel like changing it and holy shit you all never fail to make me crack the fudge up
His earnings.. roughly per year - 37 million feastables - 60-70 million RU-vid - Beast burger physical with new locations 55 million, Beast burger 1700 remote locations 30 - 50 million - 200 million / year + I'm sure there are other sources of income.
one of the main keys to mr beasts success is because he does literally almost everything outside of LA, he doesnt to my knowledge rent and own expensive offices and houses in LA, he can give away houses in the middle of america the equivalent price of a parking space in LA...
I love how they start off by joking about evil mr beast, and they end with half an hour of him explaining how he’s planning on taking over ever facet of western industry, and becoming the president.
@@NotAdultingToday i guess if there’s good intentions behind making the money (“giving it all away someday”), it isn’t AS bad as with other billionaires-but yeah wanting to be THAT level of dominant in any industry is a little concerning
@@arjungutta7762 mrbeast is obsessed with people like steve jobs, elon musk and bill gates. Its pretty clear he has an obsession with that kind of wealth and domination I agree, got nothing against the dude but I simply could never understand wanting to be that
Was actually refreshing to hear him clear up the misconception of “screwing people over” with his massive giveaways. I heard that narrative a while back and it admittedly lived in my head with little to zero basis. We just hear things and they stick sometimes.
It honestly does happen with prizes and prize shows but its usually like i got a 60k car as a prize and i really wanna drive that thing then when tax man comes the tune changes. But it seems like beast is clear with the contestants and i believe he said once that he holds/pays the tax man directly.
tbh its not my type of content and ive never really been a mrbeast fan but he seems well intentioned and genuinely passionate about what hes doing. and he rolls with the bits. its good that someone so successful is a solid dude
it genuinely gives me hope for humanity that the biggest youtuber who could easily be a billionaire is actively a good person. I would vote for him as president lowkey if he had this same mindset in 11 years.
What do you mean by passionate about what he does ? Do you think his passion for success or for his content? Because if it's content you mean I think you're not really listening to anything he said. And just by watching previous interviews and podcasts he had you'll know all his work is just a business plan from the get go. It was never about passion or love or good intentions.
@@pingu._. with passionate about what he does i mean passionate about manipulating the algorithm of youtube, navigating the clout/internet/content game to gain the most traction and the most views. im not sure hes particularly passionate about the content itself but like how big things get and what 'works'. Ive never heard someone talk in such detail about exactly how to navigate the new entertainment space in accordance to the algorithm. Like the gatekeepers in the entertainment industry used to be individuals and businessmen, e.g. people who worked for record labels, TV or radio stations. In the internet landscape algorithms have taken on this role of diffusing content to those demanding it and determining success. I think he approaches with the passion of like a scientist, and he demonstrably figured it out like no one else. His ability/skill in this area is something that comes up a lot in the flagrant interview (again not a mrbeast viewer i just happen to like flagrant and tmg).
@@pingu._. Yeah idk, I think you’re just mad he’s a better person and more successful than you, can’t lie. Doesn’t matter if he’s particularly passionate about the actual content but he’s paying people and he’s in love with the process, like him or not he’s given a lot out for his content and he’s said he pays the taxes off of the items or cash he gives away which undoubtedly has changed the lives of people who have received them for the better. He’s literally getting paid to be a philanthropist and I don’t think you can be more successful than that
