After listening to a lot of The Gits I can see why Joan Jett really took such a liking to Mia's lyrics and the music of The Gits. They both are powerful singers. Joan & Mia are a lot a like while still being uniquely their own if that makes sense. R.I.P Mia Zapata.

Joan Jett stepped up when that band needed it. Who knows what would of happened to those guys. They finally got that monster that did that to Mia..# RIP MIA
