EVIL TO CAST OUT EVIL! Definitely one of my favorite songs. So much fun to play, and that solo...oh man. ...maybe a couple mistakes here and there but eh, I did pretty good. Some spots were a tad hard to pick out by ear. Enjoy
Female musician on RU-vid playing generic metal songs and wearing slutty outfits = millions of views and praised to the sky. Female musician on RU-vid with talent playing actual difficult (good in my opinion) songs and wearing whatever she normally wears = 3000 views. As a musician, metal fan and supporter of more female musicians in metal, this bothers me. But fuck that, you're really good! Keep playing and keep being badass!
Yeah i can understand. You stop being bothered at some point i guess? Lately i'm listening to a lot of The Faceless, Cattle Decapitation, Fallujah and Necrophagist. You should try playing "Xenochrist" by The Faceless. Super fun song to play!
You forgot to mention this too: "MALE musician on RU-vid with talent playing actual difficult (good in my opinion) songs and wearing whatever she normally wears = 500 views."
There's nothing in this world that impresses and attracts a man to a woman more than her shredding hardcore metal music on her guitar. It's comparable to witnessing an atomic bomb go off...lmao Good Job Girl!
I honestly found some guy’s tabs online, and then some of it that didn’t sound right (in my opinion) I tried picking out by ear. Honestly it doesn’t utilize the bottom string all that much until the solo, so just move up with your frets on that part rather than using that 7th string.
You really have nice technique, I just started to learn this song yesterday.. and that riff at 2:07 is the trickiest one, it's taking me a little more to figure it out. I just subscribe to you :) Greetings from Mexico
Well thank you and good luck, it was a tough one haha. That is the only riff I had to bs my way through it, i still dont play it correctly. Thanks for the sub, I'll return the favor. Thanks for watchng
Oh wow... Having seen Nile live a couple times, having bought the records and looked at some of their guitar lessons online just makes a cover like that more impressive if possible (to me) - they have some pretty odd tuning and setups on their guitars which also look nothing like the beatiful axe you brought. Well, let's hope they go on for a long time and that you can pick up their legacy if needed. :-)
Haha you're right, as far as I know nile's setup is completely different than what I've got going on. Awesome that you got to see them live dude, Ive been wanting to see em for a while. You gonna catch them on 2017 tour? And thank you btw
That's awesome! I guess they had the new guitarist/vocalist there, and he did his part well if you're pleased. Sad that I've not managed to meet them, but some day... As for tours it might be a bit iffy to spot them this year - the only announced gigs in Europe so far are Wacken and some Czech festival. The local Tuska festival is looking quite stocked already (they played that in 2010) but there are clubs of suitable size and Nile did a couple such gigs here last year. Hoping for the best. ;-)
Spetulhu Spetulhu ah well that sucks, I hope they come tour near you sometime within the next year or so. But yea I got to meet Karl and the bassist. Did not see George anywhere though. And the new vocalist did decent, but oddly enough the bassist did more vocals than he did. Do you prefer the small venues or what?
Long time... Yes, for bands like Nile it's often better to see them on a small stage in a club. Or on a side stage at some festival, which is how I saw Nile at the Tuska Festival back in 2010. Very few death metal bands can handle a really big stage, not because they're bad at performing but because they just can't get the sound right. You need some really good sound guys to run a large stage. One exception would be the now sadly defunct Bolt Thrower from the UK, one of my first and most favorite performers of that sort. They're nowhere near as technical or fast as Nile, but their slow grinding style does have a charm of it's own. But ofc they might really have had one of the best sound engineers in the business on their side,.
hey hebrew girl...u r so amazing...greeting from Egypt...from god pazuzu himself / the greatest Egyptian / the greatest coptic / the future master of technology...I am so glad of ur playing...nd so glad that all of u Jews knew that ur shitty times r comming back v.soon Lol.
MAMA THIS IS INTELLIGENTLY VERY PUREGOOD-yeah I tell u like a mom-excellent-if the guy wasn't doin his voice thing-I would love this more coz I always focus on the guitar-omygosh you rule MG
OMG! I don't believe it... I was watching to some Nile vids but suddenly your vid was on the list; I wasn't expecting that!! YOU ROCK \m/ Stay heavy!!!!
Your ear was fine and half a note off. We are a UK Death metal band, ace performance and keep it going. We appreciate what you do and we are going for Moonlight Sonate 3rd - nearly got it. We will post of whom we are and of whence done; my lady.
@@LexOmega7 I didn't notice any mistakes haha! I suppose everyone does them, though! There exists early footage of Alex Webster messing up a bass solo XD
ive been trying to do cowboys from hell by Pantera Dimebag Darrell-ive got the tab for it-but itll take me sum time-but yr covers are quite smooth-flawless actually
Мне лично из их последнего альбома эта вещь тоже как-то больше всего в душу запала (и ещё их opus magnum "To Walk Forth From the Fire Unscathed").
I’m about to start uploading more now! Had some medical/family probs that popped up, but now I’m about to get back in the game. Also getting a band going :) hope you’re doing well Suzanna
What is the point of these kinds of riffs? They're all crammed together and barely audible. Simple riffs being disguised as technical work with shitty distortion and shear speed. I think this is why I've never liked Nile. All gimmicks.
Morten Carnager only part that could be considered a "montage" is the riff before the main riff/solo, which I openly admit to screwing up. Hence the two separate clips. Rest of it outta be correct other than a bit here or there. Big Nile fan and I'm not about to deliberately screw it up. But yea sure, you show me how it's played then bud
