Evil Ways - Carlos Santana - Live / 2016 - After 40 years... 

I saw them in 1969 Frisco, they were just getting started, man such a long time ago? I was 21, now 72?

I used to work out to Evil Ways in '69 when it first came out. I am now 70 yrs old and I love Carlos!!!!

Nobody else has been able to blend the blues feeling, the Latin "sabor" and the afro-cuban rhythms like Carlos..what an absolutely gifted musician!!!

my kids , in their early 20s, don't know Santana music , they don't even try to listen ... I feel sorry for them, they're missing really something, that pulse that keep me at 59 dancing at this incredible vibe

Aweeesomeee!!!! My all time hero school since the 1960's! It all began with ABRAXAS! Then SANTANA III, CARAVANSERAI, WELCOME, BORBOLETTA, AMIGOS, FESTIVAL, MOONFLOWER, INNER SECRETS, MARATHON etc... blew me away. Had the privilege of seeing him 3 times, Rotterdam, The Hague's North Sea Jazz Festival and Lyon, France. I was in cloud 9 watching him. Heard that this year he's off again on Tour and I want to take my 22 and 15 year old to see the Maestro, Corona virus permitting that is. Rock on Don Carlos, no one comes close to you!

Proud I was at this special gig! I wasn't going to miss this for the world! So rare to have Neal,Mike,Greg, Michael & Carlos on the stage together! What made it really special is that it was a one time thing.

Drummer played at Woodstock he was 19. One of the greatest drum solos. You want to know how good these guys are. The guitar player Schon and the organ player Rollie formed a little group named Journey. How about that.

Been listening to Carlos since Woodstock (50yrs.) am going to see him live in Toronto (Aug 6th. 2019) tomorrow. They're is a reason why Carlos and any of the great musical GAWDS from the 60's still fill stadiums. We're losing alot of them because of age, so whenever they come to Toronto I have to see them and they still put on amazing concerts!

Santana hasn't lost a thing. I remember I was at Tower Records in San Francisco in 1969 and I heard it over the PA system and rushed to the cashier to ask who this is as I have to buy it. He told me it's a demo and isn't released yet. Disappointed, I drove to LA next and found it was released (August 30, 1969) by the time I got there. I bought it and brought it all the way home to Vancouver Canada. Unfortunately I lost the LP in a move.
