Evil West Review - Is It Worth The $60 Bones? 

Shoutout to the devs over at Flying Wild Hog again for providing a brotha with early access to their game! Much appreciated ☺ Evil West releases tomorrow on PS4/PS5, Xbox One/X/S, and PC. My review is based off my time playing the game on PC.

Need more of these type of games nowadays. Just stuff that reminds you of the ps2 era like you said. Just straight up fun. Definitely gonna check this game out.

This game reminds me so much of Shadow Warrior 3, another Flying Wild Hog game that I liked a lot, with the way it’s described. Funny characters, not too serious tone, very gameplay centric, absurd abilities that out a smile on your face, and pretty solid difficulty. Definitely picking this up on Black Friday.

I was thinking of picking up this game eventually, but you definitely sealed the deal on what I thought it was and I'm definitely looking forward to getting this down the line. Of course gotta clear my massive backlog First lol but yeah the gameplay looks really satisfying. Love when devs make these PS2 classic like type of games where it just wants to be a video game , but at the same time graphically it looks pretty impressive. I'm pretty sure they're not a big sized dev team either for what I remember. Which is what makes it even more impressive. But yeah Looking forward to definitely trying this out for sure .

Shout-out for doing this review. This game caught my eye, but not gonna get it on launch coz i already been spending too much on games so gonna pause after The Callisto Protocol drops but this definitely something I could see myself picking up down the line

This just made me want to play it even more after seeing this video

Kind of reminds me of Bayonetta, in terms of the fun quality. They may not have a deep character driven plot or AAA budget graphics but their gameplay in terms of combat, bosses, weapons, abilities, etc. Is too fun and at times even better than those big AAA story driven games. Definitely will give this a try eventually. It looks engaging. Now the streets wait for God of War Rangarok and Bayonetta 3 review.

Definitely worth it. Combat is amazing. Most games on normal difficulty dont really challenge me really but this games normal is actually perfect. Well for me it was. I actually died (it's a good thing learning from mistakes) which usually dont happen on normal in other games. I learned how to survive and actually stun bosses or interrupt there heavy attack with a electric ground slam, or a quick shotgun, even the cannonball punch uppercut would allow that little 3 second stun that allowed you to get extra hits in. Most games you dont have to do all that on normal. So if you want the normal that your used too in other games I'd suggest you put this on on the lowest difficulty. As for me normal was perfect

Wish it was 120 fps on console. Even if the resolution had to be 1080. I despise motion blur with 40-60 fps at 4K
