Journey of two Mages is just a funny song with no strings attached. Mothy wanted to make a song about Elluka and Gumilia's adventures. It takes place right after the Daughter of Evil stories. Elluka is the Mage "revived" at the end of the Original Sin Story, and tasked with recovering the Vessels of Deadly Sins (a task she, for 500 years, kept failing miserably to accomplish). During the events of the Daughter of Evil, she took in an apprentice, Gumillia. Actually a Forest Spirit incarnated into a human body, just like Michaela from the Tree Maiden song. Gumillia barely appears in the songs but is an important character in the novels. Also, don't think too hard about the wall and watchman thing. It's just a silly punchline about how he (and presumably others, for generations) was earnestly guarding a wall under the orders of a kingdom that disappeared so long ago nothing of it even remains.

I will try to help you understand in the most simplified way: The first two songs took place almost 200 years after the Venomania event. The twins - Arte and Pollo were Gretel and Hansel's reincarnation. They basically obsessed and worshipped Banica since her childhood, probably because of her resemblance to their real mother in the previous life. When their master was dying from overeating, they gave their master the glass of Gluttony so the demon could forge a contract with her, thus saved her. Banica had a baby with Carlos while he was in disguise as her cook. When it came to either eat her infant or herself, Banica has chosen to eat herself, sparing her child. By doing that, she absorbed the original demon of Gluttony, and she became the demon herself. She dwelled inside the red glass as her vessel. And the twins, after being eaten by Banica, they were supposed to be reborn as princess Riliane and prince Alexiel of Lucifenia together but before that could happen, Irina made the queen of Marlon(the mother of the prince that the daughter of evil was later in love with) had an affair with the twins' father and the queen became pregnant with a girl, "Ney", so the twins couldn't be reborn together since Ney was an incarnation of Gretel. Hansel would reincarnated alone in a different arc. The twins, Riliane and Alexiel born not of Arte and Pollo's reincarnation thanks to Irina. Now, Ney (AKA Gretel/Arte) as a child of an affair with the foreign king, queen Prim gave the child to Irina. Ney played an important role in the Pride arc too. She served as one of a close maid of Riliane - her half-sister but Irina used her as a spy. Under Irina's manipulation, she gave the mirror of Pride to Riliane so the demon could possessed her, she basically made Riliane into the daughter of evil. Ney was the one who murdered Michaela(the green-haired girl who king Kyle had broken his engagement for) when Allen couldn't do it. After Irina killed Ney, the demon of Gluttony inside the glass absorbed her in, knowing she was Arte, this meant Ney's memories of her past life awakened. She returned to her Gretel form and dwelled inside the glass with Banica, she did felt sorry for all she has done and wished she could be proper sister to the twins. And the last song, this toke place after the daughter of evil event. The green-haired girl - Gumillia was one of the spirits that got turned into a human along with Michaela by Elluka (Gumillia and Michaela were Elluka's apprentices to help her collect the sins vessels but Michaela was killed under Riliane's order so it was just Gumillia left). The two mages continue to travel to search for the next vessel. I hope you could understand this easily. I feel sorry for the two pairs of twins TBH. with Arte and Pollo didn't reborn together thus Ney being used since she was born and killed by Irina. Plus Riliane and Allen's tragedy started because of Irina... Nevertheless, Banica is an important character and a badass one too, she would still playing an important role in the series.

Oh my, Banica Conchita my favorite character with Rilliane Lucifen d'Autriche. I'm late to write a comment (I can't help it but think it's a race to explain the story even if there isn't any reward). Well let's begin with an explanation of the third one because it's not related to the others in the video. It's actually the last song of the Pride Arc, it's like a transition between the Pride Arc and the Sloth Arc. It's Elluka Clockworker, the immortal witch who was resurrected and it cause the Catastrophe of Levianta, whom have, since the end of the Lust Arc, pink hair because she exchange her body with Lukana Octo, one of the girl with venomania, the one with pink hair, and she's with her apprentice, Gumilia Morimoto (her last name isn't important, everyone just call her Gumilia) (Gumilia because the vocaloid is Gumi, it's really original). Gumilia was a spirit from Held's Forest, the forest of the bug tree who ask to Elluka to collect the Seven Deadly Sins, also the forest where Adam and Eve lived, and she was reincarnated into a human body by Elluka. She took the appearance of Gumina Glassred, the childhood friend of Venomania, the one who was painted everyday the portrait of Cherubim, the real identity of Venomania, and her friend, Michaela, another spirit of the forest took the appearance of Eve Moonlit, the Original Sinner. Their goal was to help Elluka with her collect during the Pride Arc but sadly, Michaela was the one with green hair that cause Rilliane to destroy a country cause the revolution. So after the Pride, there was only Gumilia who help Elluka. For the Song, in fact I'm not entirely sure when it happen into the chronology in the Pride Arc... I think it happen before the song "Handbeat Clocktower" because at this time, Elluka and Gumilia had the Venom Sword (the new name of the vessel of Lust) and decided to go to Eastern lands to collect other sins but on their road, Elluka notice that the vessel is empty, the demon is not here anymore so they return to Lucifenia and then a lot of stuff happen, the events of the novels Praeludium of Red and Praefacio of Blue, they fight against Prim Marlon, and Ney like in the song "Handbeat Clocktower" and after sometime it's the end of the Pride Arc. After that it's the Sloth Arc. About the “lovely sorceress,” it is indeed Elluka, the former Court Mage of Rilliane and her parents, who had to flee from the country with her apprentice due to novel spoilers! Elluka and her apprentice first met at the Daughter of Evil novels (precisely Wingelied of Green) and became a duo because of Demons of Sin shenanigans (technically with Michaela, but she didn’t work much with them and died. Michaella-Clarith’s friend, from Daughter of White and Millenium Tree) I’m just at ch3 of Venomania novel after finishing all DoE novels, but their goal in the Daughter of Evil books was stuff with the vessels of Sin. I’m pretty sure others already explained this, so I’ll stop now. P.S: Laughing my ass of at Drug of Cold. I was looking forward to this, didn’t disappoint!

I'm sure other comments already went through all this stuff (and more in-depth, probably), but I just want to talk a bit about the characters and their stories both for you and people who don't know evillious who are just watching your reactions and getting confused. The twins - Yes, they are the same twins. Hansel and Gretel. They were created as vessels for the Twin Gods, though that never came to pass. This gives them a number of peculiar abilities, one of them being reincarnation. Every few centuries, they come back, usually as a pair of twins. They don't have any memories of their previous lives (though they can reawaken through experience). In Conchita's time (the early decades of the third century, around EC 320. Hansel and Gretel killed their parents and disappeared in EC 14), they were called Arte and Pollo. They were hired as servants and playmates for Conchita when she was young, and accompanied her at all times. They also appear to not age. Neither physically, nor mentally. Everyone but Conchita is freaked out by this. They're very loyal to Conchita. In one of the album booklets, a character you've not met yet called Ma muses that maybe their strong attachment to Conchita is due to her resemblance to Meta Salmhofer, Hansel and Gretel's mother. Banica Conchita herself is one of Venomania's descendants. One of his victims was Maylis Beelzenia, a princess of the Beelzenian Empire. Since she couldn't assume the child but also didn't want to abort, she gave her child to be raised by Muzuri Conchita, a man she admired but was already married (and his wife was unable to conceive). Reminder that there's over 150 years between the Venomania event and Banica's lifetime. Banica's family suffered from a illness/curse called the Gula disease, contracted when they ate meat from a pig with the Glass (the vessel for the demon of gluttony) hidden inside in the party celebrating Banica's birth. This made them develop a compulsion for eating unedible things, which ended up killing the afflicted. Right after the deaths started a mage called AB-CIR, who *has a red cat as pet*, appeared and informed them the only way to keep it from happening was to always eat so there's no room in their stomachs. For 10 years the Conchitas and their servants lived like this. (It's also heavily implied the one who gifted the Conchita family with the rare pig with the Vessel inside in the first place it was AB-CIR himself. Just like "IR" gave Venomania the sword). Banica didn't have the Gula disease (she was a baby, didn't eat any cursed pork), but her environment encouraged her to eat. Furthermore, her mother gradually went insane from the hardship and came to hate that she had to live like that while Banica could stop eating whenever she wanted, so she always forced her to eat until there was nothing left. This left her with a deep trauma that was triggered during the engagement party, where she saw the nobles leaving tons of food uneaten. Her mental episode made the Marlons break up the engagement . After that, she traveled the world with Arte and Pollo, and actually became respected in Beelzenia as a food connoisseur, and a close friend to the Empress. She was also morbidly obese and developing health issues from that. Arte and Pollo found the glass (it's implied they have at least some of their Hansel and Gretel memories so they know all about the vessels of Sin they created) and Conchita contracted with the Demon of Gluttony. The rest goes as the song shows. It's worth mentioning the Glass also has the ability to raise dead animals and people killed by the gula disease as zombies. Carlos Marlon was a prince of Marlon. Not the Crown Prince, and also very ill. His father always treated him as a disappointment. He does connect with Conchita and thinks marrying her and traveling the world together may not be that bad, but obviously, that doesn't happen. Years later, when he hears about Conchita having become an "Evil Food Eater" and all that, he disguised himself under a fake identity (calling himself Joseph) and started working as a cook. Not that Conchita ever fell for his bullshit. They rekindled their relationship and had relations once. But unable to keep seeing what she was becoming after the demonic possession (Beelzenia was taking action against her, so she raised an army of zombies and was talking insane things like eating all the world), he tried a murder-suicide using the medication for his disease, as seen. That golden powder. It's made from scraps from a Golden Key that is a Marlon heirloom since way back. A Golden Key that has some peculiar magic that allows it to change shape when exposed to heat (and regrow the scraps ground for it to make the golden medicine). It once transformed into a golden knife Carlos' ancestor Karchess Crim used to stab Duke Venomania. Conchita didn't die from the poison of the Golden Key, but started to grow weaker. Eventually, she ate Arte and Pollo to keep herself alive. Her time with Carlos also bore a child. So the mansion wasn't really empty by the end. The baby was there. You can see it briefly in Mario's PV. The Demon tried to goad Conchita into eating the baby, promising it would restore her strength and stop the poison slowly killing her. But instead, she ate herself, as the demon freaked out - Because being bound by a contract, the demon was eaten along with her. Elluka Clockworker, the sorceress who is searching for the Vessels of Deadly Sin, arrives too late and only finds the baby, no signal of Conchita or anyone else. The empress of Beelzenia, who was really fond of Conchita before she went all crazy with the demon contract, raised the child as her own. So Conchita's bloodline continues through the Beelzenian Royal Family. You seen Daughter of Evil. In "A Hero's Armor is Always Crimson", the knight of Lucifenia Leonhart Avadonia, after killing a bunch of enemies from Beelzenia , finds a baby girl with the imperial crest on her clothes among the corpses. That is Zita C. Beelzenia, a princess. As you may remember he takes her in first as a bargaining chip, but later decides to raise her as his daughter. The name Leonhart gave her is Germaine Avadonia. The Knight in red armor who led the Lucifenian Revolution against the Daughter of evil. She's a distant descendant of Banica. Germaine had some abnormal abilities (like recovering faster than normal from injuries) that are attributed to this.

Why am I only just now finding out about this? I love these songs, and the story attached to them! (As a matter of fact, Daughter of Evil is what introduced me into Vocaloid) I'm gonna watch all your reactions to the series, you've already earned my views!

Ok everyone! Let's drop some background lore Again, no mayor spoilers form the songs, only spoilers if you plan on read the novels. Post-writting disclaimer: I just realized this comment turned into an essay again, RU-vid won't even let me post it, so part two in the response. So years before the Conchita incident, when Conchita was born her parents, nobles of the Beelzenian empire, arranged a big party to celebrate their firstborn, as a side note, Conchita's mother is a descendant of Venomania's childhood friend, Gumina Glassred, while Conchita's father is a descendant of the bastard child Venomania and the kidnapped Beelzenian imperial princess who was secretly given away to the Conchita family to prevent scandal at the court, they are not related though, Gumina got married and had family after Venomania. Anyway, so at the party they bring this big fat beamu pig who had eaten the vessel of gluttony and was now contaminated with "gula" a disease born from the vessel. Everyone at the party got infected, which caused them to suffer overwhelming cravings for inedible things, as a result the inhabitants of the mansion and those present at the party began to die as the would eat stuff that can't be digested, obviously Banica herself being a newborn at that party haven't eaten anything so she was healthy as the disease can't be transmitted between infected and health people, only by eating infected meat. Some time later a mage with a very RED CAT showed up (The black haired guy in the second video) and told the Conchita family that they could avoid the symptoms of the gula disease if they never feel hunger for 10 years. Due to sickness paranoia Banica's mother though she was sick as well and forced her to eat ridiculous amounts of food, thus making her fat, but to all the cholesterol Banica's father was sick of the heart, at some point her mother went crazy and thinking they were running out of food she tried to eat the dead servants and during a struggle her husband accidentally kills her, at this point the Beelzenian empire had stripped them of their land and titles due to mismanagement cased by them hoarding all the food of the region. Fast forward some time, gula disease had run its course and the survivors are Banica, Banica's father, the TWIN servants, and Ron, another servant who doesn't get mentioned in the songs but it's kind of important in the novel, her father arranges a marriage with a noble family from another country, the boy she's to marry is Carlos Marlon, descendant of the man who staled Venomania and the queen he ran away with, and he was like "omg, look at this fat little girl, who is fat and nobody like her, nobody likes me either, sa we both are rejects of society maybe this is gonna work and we can travel the world together" but the party is disaster went the marriage alliance flops miserably. Time later Conchita decided to travel te world to taste exotic food and bring knowledge of better farming techniques and stuff thus saving the declining Beelzenia from famine, in the process Empress Juno Beelzenia give her family titles, lands and prestige back and she got named as the Noble Gourmet Banica, unfortunately she was so incredibly morbidly fat it was causing her health issues and eventually she was left bed ridden and agonizing, at this point the twin servants had recovered the glass that started it all and in the process killed Ron as he was intervening in their plot to have her make a deal with the demon so she does't die. She is left alone with the glass and the demon, presenting himself in the form of the baemu pig that was served at there fateful party talks to her like "Your dying, but I have just the cure for you, I can fix you, make you invulnerable to have your body damaged so you can eat those thing that no human had ever tased before, and in the process make you HOT AF, what do you say?" and she was like "No, I'm not doing it, fuck off" and the demos was like "hehe, in case you change your mind I'm gonna turn the wine in this glass into demonic blood, drink it and our contract is sealed", eventually her condition worsened and although hesitant at first she drank it and bam! she got cured immediately and her layes of fat immediately melted away and she was like "My skin is clear, my crops are watered and I couldn't be any more exited about what I can archive now". Unfortunately it being a demon contract her mind began to be corrupted, she became cruel, and began eating disgusting things like bugs, raw meat, the furniture, etc... At one point she was like "I've tasted almost everything, you know what I haven't tasted?" "hum?... Humans?" "YES, humans" so she got into cannibalism, she also have fourteen of her chefs killed, and the twins made sure to torture them, like, insane torture, like one of them was crucified in the living room and his rotting corps just casually throw into a room and never be removed from there (remember the opening like of "in a corrupted mansion with a rotten stench hanging in the air", well, that's degrading corpses just lying around. To enforce her reign of terror in the land she used the Demon's secondary power and reanimated an army of zombies and gave command of them to the female twin who acted as her general, at this point she had a personal army of zombies so big the Imperial authority couldn't do anything about it and just shut down the province, nobody gets in nobody gets out. The red cat mage obviously wanted to her his (hers actually) hands on the glass and sends his (hers xD) personal thief to get it, the thief identity is "Phantom Thief Platonic" secretly the daughter of the Calgaround Family (throwback to Flower of the Plateau Song, she VERY related to Mikulia, but I won't spoil any of this until you get to Gift From the Princess who Brough Sleep, my favorite part of the story honestly) but she fails, get persecuted by the servants and conchita around the mansion and barely manages to scape, in the process accidentally reanimatin the corpse of the previous chef who that procede to attack her and the proceeds to attack Conchita who quickly eats it not with out telling it beforehand "Even in death you are still nothing but a nuisance to me". So the mage needs another way into the mansion and Carlos is casually in jail in the country he (she) is serving as court mage and was like "I can convince the king to set you free if you do this specific job for me, you go with Platonic and kill the famous chef Joseph, and bring his severed head to me while she's "cleaning the mess" and with the sword of lust I'm gonna give you his appearance, btw you better get cooking classes for what comes next, so you are gone sneak pass the lockdown in the Beelzenian Empire and pose as a chef and get into the mansion of the very girl who you were gonna mary all those years ago but was so utterly disgusting you got trauma out of the only day you saw he... also she eats people now... anyway steal the glass from her" and Carlos was like "What? Why? I better stay jailed" "Did I mention she's absolutely hot af now?" "..., ..., OMG sign me in". So he does, and somehow convince the world he can actually cook and is Joseph. He gets hired and after some time Carlos get confortable with Conchita and realizes he kind still likes her and Conchita kinda get the vibe he's Carlos but is like "Is he Carlos? Is he Joseph? Was Carlos secretly Joseph all along? I'm I just projecting my massive crush from Carlos onto Joseph? Why do I want so bad to have wild sex surrounded by piles of disgusting food with him until he passes out from exhaustion?" so they did the thing and she got pregnant, out of nowhere Carlos had a breakdown and he plans on stealing the glass and get in the first ship to Marlon so he's like "Can you give me vacations?" and unamused Conchita was like "You know worker's rights won't be a thing for a few centuries still, I'm rich, your a cook, go back to the kitchen" so he was like "OMG, she's far too gone and I have no other way out, I'm gonna poison us both with the medicine I make out of the dust of this golden key that for some reason never runs out" (the key is actually the vessel of wrath, the one used to stab Venomania, I don't know if you remember how I mentioned in a past video that contractors can only be killed by other vessels, there is like hierarchy of which demon defeat which demon, and Wrath is the apex predator of demons) So he does. Remember he says the lines "going together wouldn't be so bad" when he thinks about traveling tighter at the start of the song and repeats the exact same line before their last meal, but the poison is too little demonic power to do anything to her, so only he dies and she like "This is so sad, Arte play despacio" (Arte is the female servant, the male one is named Pollo, fun fact in Spanish their names translate as "Art and Chicken", they are reincarnation of Hansel and Gretel btw, they are cursed to die, rot away and be reborn at key point of history). So she cooks Carlos but since he had denied the medicine for so long a look of golden powder has accumulated in his liver thus the demon realizes Conchita is gonna die if she eats him and told her but she so depressed she can process what the demos is telling her and is like "I don't care" and eats his corpse, by this point Banica had already gave birth to her son with Carlos, time later Banica was like "Hey demon, why am I suddenly so weak" and the demon was like "I told you why, hurry, the child you made was also Carlos´, so he inherited this very special trait that will cancel out the poison in you" "What do you mean" "EAT. THE. BABY. "No way, I made it" (Btw, at this point she already eaten Arte and Pollo and every thing inside the mansion, I mean everything, she also had eaten half the Zombie Army so the Beelzenian Army finally has the numeric advantage and is on the way to put an end to Conchita anyway).

Banica's household suffered from the Gula Disease, which forced them to continuously eat to avoid death, often leading to devouring unusual and lethal items. Banica, who was the only one not affected was tormented by her mother, terrorized when refusing to eat and having food forced down her throat. When Banica realized she had eaten everything in the mansion, she heard the cry of a baby and remembered the child she had with Carlos, which she was holding in her arms. She placed the baby on a plate and prepared to eat it. (the drug Carlos has been eating was made out of the powder of a golden key as shown in the MV) The demon said that the powder from the Golden Key (the drug Carlos has been eating was made out of the powder of a golden key as shown in the MV) was killing her. The demon explained that the baby was a "vaccine", claiming it could counteract the Wrath magic. Despite this, Banica refused to eat her child, she instead chose to devour herself. The feels!

Yes! The blond servants are the reincarnation of Hansel and Gretel. But the chef is Carlos Marlon, the descendant of Karchess Crim (the guy who stabbed Venomania a decade ago). The man in a hood was actually Irina in a male body. Carlos who was a prince changed his look to a chef's so he can work for Conchita. Also, when Conchita ate herself, she ate the demon who was posessing her (Vlad Tuberci). The reason she is able to do this because Vlad was weakened by drinking the gold medicine, which is made by shavings of a golden key named "Grim the End". The golden key is a demonic vessel containing Seth :) The reason Conchita didn't die immediately is beacause contractors can only be killed using another demonic vessels, and she only drank the shavings which is mixed with other materials as well.

I was so waiting for this one to pop up and already watched it 3 times by now XD I so predicted your reaction to Conchita's song since it was my own reaction at first as well and now she's my 3rd favorite sinner/contractor due to her story. The first one is Rilianne for obvious reasons but I actually cosplayed as one of the sinners, my second favorite one in fact, you'll see much later, if memory serves and I can't wait to see the reaction to THAT one's ending, tbh, love the reactions

All the songs occurr on different times within the cronology; and some characters reborn. For Banicas song, she used to be terribly punished for not finishing the food, she develop a severe trauma until she met Beelzebub, the gulttony demon and made a contract with him, as far as I remember, she can't die from food poisoning; however, the demon begun to ask for more and more food, and Conchita no longer had enough to feed him inside herself, she fell in lvoe with her cook and they had a baby, although the cook tried to kill them both to free conchita from the demon, she couldn't die due to the contract and the cook died alone in her arms to then by eaten by the demon. They were supposed to be, but Meta stealing them prevented that. None of the Rin and Len characters except the ones from Barisol’s Child Is An Only Child are them. Levia was reincarnated as Nemesis, the sinner of Wrath. If you count Elluka, both her and Behemo are her. It’s literally impossible for them to be Hansel, Gretel, Arte, Pollo, etc.

Lano... umm, maybe it's a little bit too late for this, maybe is not too late still, but I just realized, anyway, to put you in context: So after Chrono Story the "Original Sin" arc of the series end and we jump into the "Hunt for the Seven Deadly Sins" arc, well after original sin was over I was left with an itch in the back of my mind but I couldn't put my fingers on what was it. Today I finally realized what was it, well, the thing is; the songs "Wordplay", "Full moon laboratory" and "Madam Merry-Go-Round" were completely left out, so was "The Frog's and my Love Romance" at the end of the Conchita's story. Checking the link to the playlist you are following I confirmed that that list includes the songs in chronological order, but ONLY the songs that MarioGaGabriel had already reworked, leaving out the songs he hadn't put his (godsent) hands on (to bless us with his talent).
