Two great people in one interview. As long as ZA can produce people like Evita Bezuidenhout - there is hope ! Nothing more needs to be said about Nelson Mandela. He has his place in the history of mankind.

With the death of Nelson Mandela, the world has lost one of its great moral leaders and statesmen. Mr. Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years by the former Government of South Africa, for his part in the struggle that would ultimately end the system of apartheid. Despite his long years of captivity, Mr. Mandela left prison with a heart closed to calls for a settling of scores. Instead, he was filled by a longing for truth and reconciliation, and for an understanding between all peoples. He demonstrated that the only path forward for the nation was to reject the appeal of bitterness. His forbearance was legendary: his magnanimity spared all South Africans incalculable suffering. Nelson Mandela's enduring legacy for his country, and the world, is the example he set through his own 'long walk to freedom.' With grace and humility, he modelled how peoples can transform their own times and in doing so, their own lives.

I love it when Tata Madiba mentions our great Xhosa kings who were arrested in Robin Island before him, their names are Maqoma and Makana, they started what Mandela finished and they deserve credit too and to be appreciated by the whole word

Incredible.....the paradaox of it all...White Afrikaaners manage to offend everybody without the slightest effort, and yet their culture simultaneously has created a politically-themed drag act held in such high esteem that this interview was granted without any restiction, or any cheap liberties being taken by either side. Inspirational, the Afrikaaners never fail to surprise, can anybody in England imagine somebody like Dam Edna and Maggie being able to carry this off, and yet we are meant to be the ones with the sense of humour. BAK-GAT !!!!

It's such a warm delight watching Madiba speaking about our country as a normal South African. He has no hatred. No bias. He doesn't mention hateful things such as "white privilege", "white monopoly capital" etc. I understand how my parents could vote "yes" in the referendum. How they could feel there is hope and prosperity in a united South Africa. However, the current leadership have been silently waiting for the opportunity to show their true colours. Their hatred of white people. Their contempt of our culture and our contributions. Their complete denial of our existence and our concerns. Their Communist agendas shine through today. And all the doubt sown by the nay-sayers over 20 years ago now seems to hold some water.

….sadly, the cancer has come to the United States. It’s ugly, and breeds contempt…..mostly among themselves. The left here infights and they can never agree with each other. They hate our US Constitution. They favor that “Fourth Reich” a creation Klaus Schwab…called the WEF.
