complete start to finish on swapping in a evo 8 rear diff on my evo x as well as adjustable toe and control arms. walking you through the mistakes and all. #evox #evolution #evoxgang #evoxofficial #evobuild
This is the video I've been painfully looking for! Thank you for the info. I'm building a Rally car with a Volkswagen and it's getting Evo X everything for the most part. Been trying to find valid info on the rear diff swap as the AYC really hurts when rallying. Appreciate it.
I guess im asking randomly but does someone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Giovanni Jerome thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Man i just watched this 3 times and shit i feel like i can do the diff my self after seeing this video. Great work on showing what needs to come off to move things around. I been looking for something like this for a while.
For the looping of the AYC hose do I have to worry about any codes popping up? Or say if the pump randomly fails will it be fine that I no longer need the pump for the 8/9 diff?
That’s why we loop the hoses that way it keeps it from getting codes. Now if the pump fails all together you will have codes no matter what. The pump on evo x controls both transfer case and rear diff.
then this differential is from evo 8 no ayc? How do you do with the system and the traction for example the pump turns off and my car goes very bad in the snow. Do you think that if I do this I can eliminate the ayc pump and my evo will be better?
